Thanks for the in-depth review. I do wish that the Signa app was better. Other brands offer more flexibility with presets for different noise environments and or the ability to set your own programming.
Hi… is it true that Signia 7AX, 5AX and 3AX share the same hardware chip . They are only differentiated by their software level. ( based on your TH-cam cover photo) . If that’s the case , that means I can flash the 3AX to 7AX just to get a better hearing experience. Not sure whether my presumption is correct. Please advise. Thank you
Ed Zachary. I have the Phonak P90 Paradise and the connectivity is awesome. I'm in the 90 days with Spec Savers with the Paradise and my audiologist is happy for me to try the Signia 7AX...but the connectivity on the Paradise is truly epic. I love the ability to call up Siri on my iPhone using right tap on my ear to do anything I want from driving navigation to reading me the news. Hands Free calling is so handy and I use Siri to dial customers and other contacts by right tap on my ear. They are great hearing aids too. The Signia though has interesting new technology and I also like the concept behind their Signia Assistant. They are very progressive and I'm sure the 7AX is epic but the connectivity is sad in comparison. I'm streaming this video through my MacBook but if a call comes in it just switches to hands free on my hearing aids.

There are over 10 types of hearing aids sold by Signia and without knowing the style you have purchased we can't assist with this information further.
I recently got the 7ax. And I am new to hearing aids. I have just high frequency range loss, so the aids are fitted with waffle cones so that I listen naturally to most frequencies and just the high ones are boosted. As a result telephone connectivity just plays back with a very tinny sound. Ditto for music - a huge disappointment. Also, I rate Bluetooth connectivity as quite poor. Usually only one ear connects on a phone call or when streaming on iPhone or iPad, and notifications may sound in only one ear or the other. I’ve spent time with Signia support, rebooted the phone and aids many times and several visits to the audiologist who think everything is fine. I do hear better with the aids, but the overall satisfaction level is low.
Hello. I have essentially the same kind of loss, but I'm wondering. Have you attended any meetings where a speaker system is used and had the same problem with tinniness? I purchased the Pure Charge and Go 3X without the telecoil but thinking of upgrading to one with telecoil ability because I understand very little with my current device. Thank you for your help.

I like the logic of the Signia Assistant. Ironically the Phonak does exactly what you want but I like the Signia approach better!

How is the Bluetooth music experience in this hearing aid
Is the length of the receiver the same for everyone? If not, how to determine the length of the receiver?
This is done in the clinic by your Audiologist. There are multiple lengths for all receivers in the canal devices across all brands.
