Excellent description of the features of the signia IX.
Thank you for the this very on point description. Because of this I ended up purchasing the Pire Charge & Go 7-IX, they have proven to be wonderful for me and my needs, it does everything you said and much more
Are you satisfied with the hearing aids
Very useful, Thanks!
My audiologist ordered a set of these for me today
Awesome, hope it serves you well.
please leave a feedback
Great info! Are the features in the 7IX level available if only using one hearing aid?
Great question. Yes, it needs both hearing aids to work together for the more advanced features to work. With one hearing aid, it will still provide amplification to that one ear. But with two hearing aids working together, it can share audio input back and forth to provide better hearing in noisy places.
@@amplehearingI appreciate the note back, thank you!
I recently ordered the Styletto 7AX..am I still good to go? I like the sleek design of the Styletto, but I’m worried if I should have purchased these in your video…
@uriyahrobinson7704 No need to worry. The Styletto 7AX is a sleek hearing instrument. With a proper fitting, it is very capable.
The AX models are already three year old technology which aren’t capable of integrating with recent and future technologies like the Ix models will.
I have good low decibel base hearing but struggle with higher frequencies.
I’ve been told a telecoil will produce a constant hum that I’ll hear because of my low frequencies hearing capabilities and I’m also being told that issue was addressed with the processor in the AX line and IX line as well.
What have your patients with good low frequency hearing experienced with telecoil hearing aids?
I’d really like to benefit from Hearing Loop.
However I’m wondering if Aurocast firmware update is so close to being released that I won’t need a telecoil anymore.
Thoughts please!
Thanks in advance!
@dellparker7686 I haven't had much experience with telecoil. In my area, not many places are looped (set up for telecoil), unfortunately. Telecoil helps you hear public speakers easier, but the space must be set up for it. You will likley hear a very low hum but only when you activate telecoil. The question to ask yourself is if many public facilities around you are even set up for telecoil? In my opinion, I believe Auracast will be more easily available than telecoil with the increasing adoption of Bluetooth LE in the coming years. It seems to be the way of the future. Time will tell.
Thanks!
@@dellparker7686I have telecoil in my Costco Rextons (they are made by Signia). I hasn’t ended up being useful because so few venues I go to use it and the only one that I’ve gone to that does, has it badly set up; the sound piped into it isn’t any clearer or louder than if I use my HAs without it. The only useful thing I’ve found with telecoil is that it helps you figure out if appliances and wiring have power or not, because you can hear a buzz when you get close to them.
Signiais good for90db+or110db+ to hear phone?
Realistically id telecoil still necessary since Aurocast technology soon to come
I don’t know anything about aurocast but I have telecoil in my hearing aids and it is NOT useful. Hardly any place that I want to use it has it, and the only one that does has poor sound quality.
