i would prefer that its just a different variant of the standard assault frigate. Basically, it costs slightly more to build but gives more firepower. standard type assault frigates would give you 15 turbolasers but an improved. 23 the extra fins are to improve firing arcs to make maximum use of the extra cannons.

Honestly the Vindicator is a ship I don’t hear a lot of talk over. It was meant to replace the aging Dreadnaught with more weapons and a slightly greater carrying capacity than the Imperial refits of the Dreadnaught. Also what I love about it is how the hull is also modular. Being the hull the was used in the Interdictor cruiser. Honestly a carrier could have been made out of it too or just another dozen type of ships. And the fact it’s not a KDY design.

I agree that the Strike Cruiser is ignored, and really that entire ship segment of medium cruiser (300-700 meters) gets ignored even though that's such an important size slot. That medium cruiser segment (which also includes Strike's follow-up Belarus Medium Cruiser and the Sacheen Light Escort) would probably be heavily represented in both the Galactic Empire's and the New Republic's system fleets, since they fit the role of system patrol and defense, where they wouldn't be on the front lines fighting wars but defending planets from more day-to-day threats like pirates and rogue militias.

These are some of my favourite ships in Star Wars. I like how the Assault Frigate looks "open." Rather than covered in platings, it (much like the Escort Frigate) is open to space because it is not meant for atmospheric flight and therefore it doesn't matter that the outside of the ship is so gribbly and uneven. Also, the Strike cruiser makes sense from Empire POV and is silly otherwise. With the massive Empire, having modular ships that can be reconfigured for new duties when necessary is handy in some ways while for any smaller fleet, it would be preferable to just make dedicated ships for these duties separately.

You forgot a very underrated ship. The Blessed Noodle class armed transport. Which in addition to its extensive cargo capacity also has remarkable armor and shielding, as well as hyper-advanced starfighter control systems allowing its carried escort fighters to attack and defend in conjunction with the main vessel's own weaponry in ways simply not possible for other carriers of fighters, the most famous being of course the Ladder Formation that was deployed in defense of the planet Massaman to devastating effect.

For those of us who grew up playing Tie Fighter, the Strike Cruiser is very familiar. I also love the mention of the Mon Remonda. Tough enough to tank fire from the SSD Iron Fist and survive with only moderate damage.
The Chiss Star Destroyer is probably most similar to the Nebula class, but even smoother.

Isn't the Ghost in between Freighter and a Corvette. The Ghost has quite the arsenal and is quite big for it's size that it fights with CR90 corvette's well .

Lots of candy here for X-Wing players. But I never accepted that Dreadnaughts required a crew of 16,000. There aren't even 16,000 things to do in that much volume. My head canon is that 16,000 was their maximum passenger load, but the ships took so much attention to operate it was a common joke that 16,000 was minimum crew.

Id say my favorite star wars ship of all time gets absolutely no love: the Invincible class dreadnaught. It looks like the most functional star wars ship to ever exist, and it also looks like a ship you'd see out somewhere in the middle of no-space doing border patrol duty or something like that.

EcHenry needs to make some ships from the books like the chiss star destroyer

How about mentioning the Enforcer cruiser? A fine addition to an imperial flotilla and hardly mentioned anywhere.

    2) the 2d ship looks like a tardigrade

I am trying to picture how Thrawn exiled by his people with only a few loyal followers for breaking the taboo of taking his forces and leaving Ascendancy space, so risking their existence/location being exposed to their enemies or provoking an attack from one of the threats in the outer rim could design an entire Star Destroyer. The Chiss Clawcraft certainly they could have produced combining Imperial and Chiss technology, but an entire capital ship? Even after the death of the Emperor Thrawn was on the out of his government creating the Empire of the Hand that was mostly formed of Imperial resources and a few people from his household guard, they were separate to the Chiss Ascendancy and barely tolerated by them if not hostile. It was only later after the fall of The Hand that a rebbellion installed a more proactive rather than insular Chiss government. (P.S. I do love the way the Chiss Ascendancy was organised with each of the 28 major/minor colonies semi-hidden from each other and acting like individual cells in a resistance movement)

Is the chiss star destroyer described kinda like the ascendancy star destroyer in Thrawns revenge. I know that was supposed to be a mix of imperial and chiss ideas

"Life pods from the Liberty?" How would anyone have had time to get to a life pod and away from the explosion? It had like a 3 second warning before getting blasted.
