I just love how Viktor doesn’t say anything during Rocky’s lamination, and simply puts on Rocky’s pumpkin nodule instead. Probably because he knows that it is easier to play along with Rocky shenanigans than to argue against it. And yes, Viktor is my favourite Lackadaisy character, with Zibb coming a close second.

The panel with "I can't be the only one who knows" is my annual Halloween wallpaper. It's fantastic because whenever I get a text it looks like Rocky is speaking.
Honestly Roark's expression toward the end of " Lovecrafty " looks a lot like the zonked out cat during the Cajun party Mordecai was tricked into. Wonder if he drank space coffee.

The Lovecraftian space coffee certainly explains Rocky's crazy behavior and his theatrics.

I'm all in for a "Call of Chuthulu-esq" Spin-off
Especially since he's pronounced as CAThulu.
"A World Of Magic, Music And Pancakes", a Lovecraftian horror series featuring daily life in the mind of Rocky.
The spin-off will most likely be about rocky stumbling upon a magical book called a "cosmic grimoire" which (if chosen) gives him the ability to use eldritch and rune magic. However there's not just one cosmic grimoire in his world. Btw, those books also gives the user access to the realms of the eldritch gods and natural immunity to their madness.
@@gearknight8870 Maybe he'd find the book back in his childhood and that's why he could "see eternity" when he ate pancakes for the first time. And for as long as the spin-off would go on, it'd put Rocky's weird view of the world on full display as if it's all real("Mrs. Pepper" looking more like an actual pepper, Freckle being a tiny lil skrunkly before turning into a horrifying demon-cat when he gets handed a firearm, the dynamite scene in the pilot being displayed as Rocky wearing a top hat and clown makeup while riding an eldritch monster and throwing down exploding fireballs, the whole spin-off being in the same artstyle as Rocky's poem in the beginning, etc. Only the flashbacks from before he found the book would share the style of the rest of the pilot.)
Love how the bell dong at 0:38 seems to reference a Darkest Dungeon sanity check. And the polyphonic susurrant thoughts. The sound design on ALL the Lackadaisy animated projects is top notch. The work that went into this is astonishing!

Rocky strikes me as the type of fellow who, if he ever gets institutionalized, will probably get vegetablized
Especially back in those days though I think several members of the lack of Daisy crew would probably bust him out of the asylum and just try to keep him on a short leash AKA make sure that he doesn't cause too much damage out in public and try to find some creative ways to contain his chaos if only for a little bit

i like the idea of lackadaisy having a vague supernatural element to it, some sort of psuedo pulpy Lovecraftian aspect within the shadows of the mind

I saw the Eldritch Horror Coffee comic at some point a while back, it was my very first exposure to Lackadaisy. Good times.
Also, "Imbibe" has become a regular part of my vocabulary ever since xD
Rocky, that is the most elaborate form of "Well, one of us is gonna have to change" I've ever seen! XD
And the eldritch space-coffee comic is one of my favorite interludes - after watching the pilot for the first time about a week ago and binging _all_ the comics over the course of a couple days. All of Lackadaisy is amazing!

It's these shorts that show the voices actors are a good fit. I wasn't originally sold but after hearing them in their proper dynamic it works.
And Lovecrafty is why I ship Rocky and Mordecai. Is it a healthy relationship. . . No, but it is enthralling.

@@Sweetroll_Wolfie Honestly with the, " one of the first to see bacteria", you're about 250 years off, when you do realize that Antonie Van Leeuwenhoek, The Father of Microbiology discovered them in 1675, but I agree, seeing them with your eyes alone would be terrifying.

The first one anout the cat who gives a drink to make the other one see what he see is pretty scary looking.
