Does anybody else think it’s weird that the characters are talking to their creator? Like the creator of their universe, their God is just standing right in front of them and everybody’s just super chill.
not really! it was popular for fandoms to “interact” with the characters in the 2000s-2010s. I remember reading tons of authors notes in fanfic where it was just the Author talking to the characters. A/Ns sometimes took up more words than the fic itself
For safety reasons, let's avoid going to Rocky. I'm sure he's gonna say that he invented the world's first nuke and then show it off to the audience for 1 panel before the whole things blows.
I can honestly see Mordecai getting all dressed up just for ironing socks I mean, given the setting the comics take place in an electrical iron would be pretty modern so I guess it would be appropriate for him to get all dressed up when using a very modern piece of technology at the time of the 20s cause you gotta remember electricity was just starting to be used much more for other appliances. Most irons we’re just a heavy piece of well iron that you’d heat up. That’s kind of how it used to work

I always pictured him with British accent. Which makes absolutely no sense of course because of where the setting takes place.
I always pictured him with a Southern accent, Alabamian to be specific lmao.
It's been stated that Mordecai actually has a slight New York accent, as that's the area that he's originally from.
