To be fair, that's Ahsoka Tano, who is Darth Maul's equal. We literally went and saw that Grievous has shit tons of trophies from dead Jedi in his house.

@@frostburn6784 You mean the Yuuzhan Vong? Yeah, they'd be a minor threat, but Gen'dai are insanely physically strong and durable. A Gen'dai, Force-sensitive or not, would just rip through the Vong with its bare 'hands'. Adding the Force to a Gen'dai is actually pretty unnecessary - they don't need the Force to be unstoppable killing machines, but the one thing they'd really benefit from is Force precognition -and just because the Vong can't be sensed through the Force isn't going to stop a Gen'dai from lifting up any Vong in its path and literally ripping them in half.

They should make Durge as the Major villain in Book of Boba Fett: Season 2 and The Mandalorian: Season 3. The storyline would be called The Wrath of Durge where he focused his ultimate plan to wipe out the entire Mandalorian race and creed.

Nerve gas doesn't need to be in your lungs to kill you.
Nerve “gas” is a misnomer. It should be called “nerve _agent.”_ Nerve agents do not need to be inhaled to be lethal; all they require is skin contact.
Nerve gas doesn't require lungs to take effect and funnily enough isn't even really gas but that's an excelent point you brought up. Nerve gas works on a principle that the particles get into the skin and hijack the cells that take the sensation of feeling away from the nerves so that the feeling never stops and continously goes to the brain. Now, I don't know if nerve gas would be effective against the Gen'dai as they appear to be just a walking cluster of nerves with no real skin therefore I can't really tell if nerve gas as we know it could take effect against them.
If durge’s motivation was to kill mandalorians, why isn’t he going after death watch
They seem more like traditional mandalorians than clones are
I might be remembering wrong, but this backstory was before the second Clone Wars show, meaning Jango destroyed Death Watch before the Clone Wars. The book Open Season could explain it better than I can.

i just noticed that Grievous DEFEATED him and Ventress too, so if he can do that, the Legends Grievous is extremely powerful

Durge not being in TCW was one of the many serious mistakes that show made.
There's no way Durge would've made it in. Could you imagine how much of the animation budget would've gone into him? The show wouldn't have lasted more than a few seasons.

It would be cool to see this guy face off against the Mandalorian. Or against a battalion of Clone troopers. Durge slowly kills the clones, widdling their numbers. Some clones go paranoid and start going after him. He kills them all. eventually whatever clones are left, don't defeat him, they escape.

The Mandalorian would get massacred. Durge is basically immortal and has increased strength, height, reach, speed and limitless endurance. Durge has killed dozens of Jedi. Mando would drop in a few secs.

I'm not sure that if fight happened in the DT (Disney Timeline) or not. Ventress' fate was different than in Legends, so it's possible went different for Durge as well to survive into the Galactic Civil War...
You know if the rumoured Black Series Legends wave is true. We all love to have a Durge figure in our collection, imagine making a diorama of him fighting all of your Mandalorian figures
Suggestion: Clone Troopers vs Sith Troopers(Old Republic)
Which Sith Troopers, the ones who fought under Revan and Malak's Empire or the ones from the True Sith Empire? Because the Sith Troopers of the True Empire would get STOMPED, but the ones under Revan and Malak had fought in the Mandalorian Wars - and the clone troopers were trained by Mandalorians. So, it would be a more even fight.

A member of his species is in the 2003 Clone Wars series. I don't know if it was Durge specifically, but at least the concept got a little bit of light in the film medium.

The artist previously mentioned has other pictures involving the two and numerous other OCs and pre-existing Legends/DisCanon characters. Man, thats why I'll always love the of clone wars more. The new clone wars for sure has the feels, but the old has the BATTLES, and characters so badass they can give the mando a run for his money

I cling to the idea that Durge was the most proficient and effective Jedi Hunter ever.
Even more so than Grievous for Grievous needed fear and deception as advantage while Durge could fight them head on and win.
I would love for him to appear in the mandalorian tv show! He basically the boogeyman of the mandalorians, it will be like a slasher films especially terminator 1.

One thing I was always a bit confused about is that Mandalorians weren't truly extinct even after Jango died, why did he not go to Mandalore for revenge vs. wasting time fighting clones? That said a really interesting plot twist would be if they did have Durge in TCW and after fighting the Jedi and clones for a while he then teams up with them to battle Maul's Mandalorians when they took over the planet or have him team up with Jedi to fight clones during Order 66.
He was powerful, but not even he could defeat Grievous......That makes Legends Grievous even more scarier.
Nevermind, he was a force to be reckoned by. Not someone that by any means could be underestimated.
PD: I feel that not including him in OP Durge's Lance was a lost opportunity to make a symbolic yet cruel pun against the Republic.
I was surprised to hear that Grievous was able to defeat Durge when the shows and movies mostly portrayed him as an inept coward.

Durge actually killed thousands of 10 year olds because most clones during the clone wars were atleast 20 years or older.
I still remember seeing Durge for the first time when I was watching the 2D Clone Wars series. I was about 12 and had no earthly idea what his name was. That futuristic jousting scene is absolutely brutal, as were the fight scenes that followed. People can say what they want about that show, but they knew how to make a villain with one Hell of an intimidation factor.

Durge has been my favorite bounty hunter since I was an infant watching the 2003 clonewars, around 2006 I bought the animated action figure of durge, then around 2012 I got the realistic figure with the accessories, and early this year finally got what I consider to be the best durge: durge with speeder bike. Now I just need the comic pack with anakin and I’ll have every figure of him released

While it would have been great to see Durge in The Clone Wars series, he was more than likely left out due to how goddamn expensive and difficult it would be to animate his muscle mass in 3D.
The new game Jedi Survivor revealed the villain, Rayvis is a Gen'dai like Durge so it's not a total loss since his species is getting some respect back in Canon. Imagine what Rayvis' bossfight against Cal Kestis would look like compared to Obi-wan and Durge in the 2003 Clone Wars.
I think Palatine would like Durge to work for the Empire . . . . . he is pretty useful and old ( which means he might know so old sites or old relics to show palps ) .
First time I saw dirge was a random photo on a trading card, at around the same time as TPM and AOTC came out. I was super excited to see him finally used in the cartoon, then bam.

I really enjoyed Durge as a character, and as someone who ran Star Wars RPG stuff, I also liked that I could afford to use him, without fear that players would just overwhelm him, and derail elements of the story, because even if he lost, he could come back from it later, like a D&D lich, or something. There are whole groups of Legacy characters that I really wish had gotten the Black Series figured treatment, back when they were still canon, and I know they never will now, but General Durge is one of the still official characters I wish had, or hope still will, get a fig made. When I look at some of the pointless characters who have gotten the treatment, like the Mandalorian Client, I wonder how they got a slot over Dirge, but sometimes they go back, and I hope they will with him.
So I doubt they would, but seeing durge appear in the Mandalorian, especially now that the show seems to be focused entirely on the Madalore plot. I'd love to see alot of cool extended universe stuff brought in, especially the basilisk war droids which could probably be used to even the fight between Durge and everyone else

The psychosis was not a side effect of their rejuvenation; rather, the opposite. Their brains were the only part of their body they couldn’t regenerate. Headshots could kill Gen’Dai, but not many knew this.

So Durge is a hunter from Halo, but with power armour and regenerative capabilites. That's pretty cool character concept.
