Stupid Bloke Stupid Videos b powers good as it is it wouldnt affect it too much. Once i put cetane booster in v power and it got weaker the car wouldnt reach high revs too easily so i relalised that the cetane amount of v piwer was at peak performance amounts so more of it causes less power as it burns too quickly and has decreases its momentum as it burns quite cleanly to start with. When i put booster in the nirmal diesel the cars goes like a minster truck though. But its not too good for the engine as it raises the ignition pressure too much as shit diesel has higher peak pressure to start with itl cause engine wear while v power wont
Statistics speak for itself I think it’s more that the temps get too hot if you’ve too much of it, egt readings can get a bit high from what I’m lead to believe. I would like to have taken some proper measurements if this kind of thing, but I don’t have the facility to do so.
V power burns cooler though btw the shit diesel burn hotter as its has less cetane. The more cetane the cooler itl burn as its the opposite of petrol. 100 % cetane actually produces nitrogen and leaves no carbon deposits as for the shitty diesel it burn hotter as its conposed of carbon. Cetane is gas to liquid clear diesel. The cetane booster we but as just more hydrocarbons mixtures accept for ehn which is just kerosene which thins out the diesel to a higher cetane number
Considering it's mainly White Spirit (Type 3 - Medium Flash), I'm not surprised it did diddly squat. Useful in cleaning injectors perhaps but it's the ≤5% 2-EHN contain that improves cetane. Which you can buy pure!
I use redex fuel system cleaner and injector cleaner in my Volvo every alternate month and an oil flush at every change (6 monthly). Since starting that and with the mileage that I do, it works an absolute treat. As for my C1, I intend to have a look at what the Millers petrol treatment will do. Bought some for my bike, but never got round to using it. Loving the air powered drum stick 🤣
David Bolton Yea I use fuel treatments etc, I like stuff like that. Project Farm is probably my favourite channel as he does a good job of testing stuff. I’d have loved to gotten more evidence of it working by doing some tests like 0-60 etc, but the car is sub 6 to 60 with the mods and if it’s 1% better it’s hard to see. That’s why I like testing stuff on the Citroen, cos a little margin of gain is noticeable such as cleaning the injectors. If got some good tests planned for that shitter when I get time to do them! I’m quite proud of the drumstick though, I think it might make more appearances 🤣
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos Only place I’ve found it is Halfords however for 500ml it is supposed to last a long time at the ratio of 50ml for 50 litres I’ve found it works really well for mpg & throttle response
@@Mr330d I’ll have a butchers at that then. I don’t use cheap fuel in mine as it seems to run a lot better in V-power than other stuff, I don’t rate the BP ultimate either. It is moderately tuned though. What’s yours an E90?

I only got to run one tank of shell v power when I was in Scotland and the car drove like it was remapped after that 😂 . I don’t own a 330d anymore I just haven’t changed my yt name because I like it haha it was an Imola red E46 184bhp mapped to 235 it was a rocket of a car
I'd say it works mate. As that judder when cold was most probably a slight imperfection in one or more of the injectors So really it's done its job and cleaned the injectors👌🏻

bitTorrenter interestingly, it smells the same as Redex diesel injector cleaner.
You should fill your tank up and run your car for a week with the redex in because redex cleans your fuel line fuel pump and injectors gradually.
I tried the petrol redex on my c1 in another video, and did find that it seemed to improve the more I drove it.
Better off buying 2-ehn does the job.

Your running a Citroen C1 on Vpower!!! Waste of money! Your better off running on bog standard fuel and dosing up with Redex twice a year.
I always use decent fuel, even in the Shitroen. Tbh the amount of fuel it uses, the weekly savings would be minimal if I used the cheap stuff anyway.
