I did notice that option in there so it looks like it can. I really should have mentioned that but it slipped my mind at the time of recording the video
Looks interesting! Will you be making a comparison video with the GAP tool, especially which features are missing? It looks quite similar to my Autel app and obd dongle I use.
I have a Foxwell obd reader for my Disco 3 and it gives a few live readings but doesn't do service reset etc. it's pretty limited i think and I think this would be an upgrade.
I am also not a fan of the subscritions. I wonder if it will read the new Defender which doesn't use CANBus. I I guess not. I forget the name of the communications bus they now use but my mate has been looking for a cheaper option. I have the GAP tool for my D4.
I am in Melbourne unfortunately. Oh and the Defender uses DOIP which I guess is Data Over Internet Protocol. Different to CANBus anyway. My GAP tool really couldnt do much on his Defender. Nor could the NRMA technician who was called when we were in Broken Hill.
can do suspension height calibrated ?

Awesome. Would love this for my D4. I’ve owned a D3 for years as well. All the best to who that wins. 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Gotta be a member of the channel, and I hope to start more giveaways as well in the future!
Great video mate 👍
Turned out alright
Looks like an awesome tool that, definitely a lot more advanced than the junk I have, which stopped working a while back, very nice!
It did a lot better than I was expecting that’s for sure.
@BadQ im hoping this should work on the GQ
Haha
@@downtheshedwithbyron hahahahahhahaha 🤦 reckon it'll be great with the injected 5l in the HJ if I can locate the odb port 😂

Unfortunately not, I no longer have my GAP tool or a working disco to do an in depth comparison.

I believe this is probably the best value for money option. Heaps cheaper than a GAP IID and 99% of the functionality that most people would use

If anyone in Perth has a Defender and would be happy to have the scan tool tested on their vehicle I’d be happy to do it
