    Great video. Nice to see that both the older dip and new hyperdip hold up really good. I just started watching a few of your videos and didn't realize until you pointed it it out that your Escalade is wrapped haha. It looks completely factory to me. I'll have to go and watch that video now.
    And also, I have never seen a car wash like the one you were in. This must be a North American thing because here in Texas, out of everything that's here, I've never come across an indoor car wash. There is one that semi's use but they are huge for that reason.

I just used hyperdip yesterday on my Honda Civic emblems and I was wondering if I should use a hair dryer on a spot on the back Honda emblem that lifted a bit during the peeling process? Since you’re in Canada do you use Krown Rust protection and if you do does the application of that affect the Plastidip on the wheels?

    • @Donslife
      @Donslife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Nicole, I haven’t used or have had to use any Krown products. Most of what I have used plastidip on has been in new or like new condition so once the Plastidip is applied, it adds some protection. If there was a rust spot or oxidizing, I would probably take care of those spots first before covering.

    I hyperdipped my emblems a few days ago and went through an automatic touchless car wash yesterday. The front emblem is fine but I noticed the back emblem started to peel along the top, exposing the chrome. • @Donslife
      @Donslife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What happens when you get new tires put on ,peel it off an redo your wheels ,?

    • @Donslife
      @Donslife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mike, It would depend on two things: 1 - If the wheel weight is on the outside lip of a wheel, you would probably have to peel it off and respray. 2 - Outside wheel weight or not, the tire guide on the machine would rub lip unless the installer is super aware of the risk. In my opinion, it is not a huge deal to respray if needed. 1 can usually per wheel.
