One other thing, I get chatted up at traffic lights all the time with the RNINET 😀 it is a gorgeous bike. 1,170cc gives 110hp approx so no lack of power or torque… loving the RNINET
I couldnt decide which one to have, so i bought both Scr & R9T 😬. Glad i made the purchase since both bikes have different character and complement each other so well. Cheers
you are one of the best moto reviewer on TH-cam. Love your content. The old Ducati Nightshift video brought me to your channel. I would love to see Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro video by you.
I ride an option 719 RnineT scrambler and it's perfect for where I live in Alabama. We have a lot of roads that will turn from asphalt to gravel, and the scrambler part of the R9t handles those transitions perfectly. I wouldn't suggest going too offroad with it though, but dirt trails and gravel roads it can tear up.
Great review. You emphasized the 'sensation' aspect but couldn't get your head around why someone wouldn't want a quick-shifter on an R9T. It's very satisfying to master smooth gear shifting/rev matching on a shaft drive bike with this odd engine config.
Thank goodness for you, kuys Jinno. Sanggunian talaga kita pagdating sa POV sa mga motor kasi magka-height tayo. 😁 I'm actually still a virgin sa pagmomotor. Still doing my research before my first purchase. 😁 Thanks for all your hard work. 🙏
Keeping an eye out for a bike to leave in Thailand, the incoming R12nineT and the Speed Twin 1200 are the bikes I’m choosing between. Love the Beemer engine and the shaft drive. The ST has so far looks to be more comfortable for a passenger and feels lighter. ST also seems to have a more relaxed footpeg position so it might just win out. Just wished it was a shaftie.
hey, will the bike overheat on manila traffic or rather in a traffic jam... ? actually my only concern about the bike. coz in my country there are many traffic slow-down in the city...
Man, the Triumph Speed Twin, is a pussycat compared to the R Nine T. The BMW is war material, The Triumph is for a spin to the coffee shop. Totally different feelings. Don’t get me wrong. I see the attraction on the Speed Twin. It’s a very composed bike, and a sophisticated tribute to the iconic bikes of the 50’s and 60’. But the R Nine T, is the rough sensation of eating Kms or miles, just not in stile, but in a pure and hard roadster machine!
If you're considering this bike, be sure to test ride it. It's a styling exercise. Pretty is definitely in the plus column, but it's also expensive, uncomfortable and agricultural, with an unrefined feel and clunky gearbox. My test ride didn't last long -- I knew right away it wasn't in the same league as the Triumphs and some other options, and you're paying a lot for the BMW badge.
An AIR-COOLED 1000+cc bike that’s worth more than P1M?!? I can hear the heads of “Dapat Liquid Cooled!” fanatics - on scooter engines 160cc and below - popping from where I’m sitting!
The only reason why people like this bike is the same reason why most people cannot own it. It is expensive for its class. The bike itself is mediocre. It rigorously shakes on high speeds especially on the bars. This bike doesn't give you the confidence to ride. The engine runs very hot between your legs especially when in traffic. Like all beamers it is overengineered the sensors cost you a ton to replace. You're better off buying the Triumph triple speed twin or the big 3s Japanese motorcycle if you're looking for the same class of motorcycles.
I swapped my Ducati Scrambler for the RNINET option 719, best decision I made, puts a smile to my face every time I go out for a ride 😊
didnt you like your ducati scrambler?

my all time favorite bike, i do have the Pure model that makes me smile :)
This past December, I used my Speed Twin as partial trade towards an RNineT Scrambler. I love the BMW so far. Good video!
Better than the speed twins?

Appreciate you 🫶🏽
Very Unique.
Classic looking at the same time futuristic because of the Engine layout.

Nice hat bro. Great riding gear from Melbourne Australia.
I am very lucky to have the Pure Model and it has its challenges but wouldnt want any other! 😊
It’s a nice one indeed
What challenges?? I’m looking at a Pure w/ 719 option

10:05 The Red Sea/Suez Canal standoff will make it more difficult for BMW to sell those bikes.

riding those bikes without the crash bars puts the anxiety in me
What do you mean without crashbar!!? That engine IS the crash bar!!
Newbie
@@logic_bot3753 So True :D
@@drifter1025 Aren't we all. MotoGP riders crash their bikes almost all the time, can't call them Newbies :D

Isnt this the out going model? There is a new model now for the r nine T.
Correct, this is 2023, outgoing models, error was made in the title
1:48 would rather spend on Indian Chief Dark Horse
Brilliant review. Thank you

Hahayssss RNineT's 😍😍😍😍
They are not gonna continue making that bikes any more?

Its ok review
How many "a little bit" have you heard?
Plenty 😂
if I have the money it would be between the r9t classic or the Bonneville T120 😅
I cannot imagine the new R12 model to be better looking. It doesn't even come with Akrapovic!
Nice & Thanks :)
be Honest around LA area the R9T 719 is all sold out.

It stalls in moderate traffic because it has just an air cooled engine.
Mine doesn't

You sound like a hater. Have you even tried riding the bike?
This channel reviews great bikes BUT YOU GOT SUCH A BORING REVIEWER
Can’t please everyone, but thanks for the feedback and for watching the channel
👍🤪🏳️🌈
all these european bikes are grossly overpriced. not worth these prices.
It depends, You’re probably not the target market.
The same can be said to other premium Euro brands like Ducati, Vespa, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, etc.... thats the premium price you pay for heritage....
my all time favorite bike, i do have the Pure model that makes me smile :)
Every time I step out into my garage and see my Pure sitting there, I smile.
