@@mariealove3001 I love how yours turned out, I’m going to try to mix those 2 colors and see what I get 🤗 I too am not about that fire hydrant red 😂 not that there is anything wrong with it I love it on others just not me 🙈
Omg love ur hair color, u did a and awesome job this video has been very helpful thank u for sharing with us I will try to do my hair like this I will follow ur steps ❤
Thank you! On the back of the color it gives you the developer portion recommendations for the tube size. I personally pour by the consistency that I like, not too lose or too thick. I hope this helps!
I use the color black most of the time so now i want a red color o copper and i bought the volume 40 of loreal so im a little scared some people say is too strong for the hair
I died my hair red with a 30 but a different brand and it didn't lightened my hair as much as I wanted, should I wait for it to fade and then try this loreal magenta with a 30 or will it not work because there is dye in my hair
I have purple hair. do you know if this will lift my purple out and turn it red or if it will blend with the purple and make it burgundy. I wanna try this soo badd.
Unfortunately I don't know how this will react to purple personally but I do believe it will make it a Magenta color which is extremely close but a deeper red, it should look just as good, I personally always wanted to try purple. Let me know how it comes out if you color over your purple!!!
Yes! I have pictures on my Instagram that shows what it looks like in different lighting. I needed a color that reflected indoors as much as outdoors! My instagram is love_mariea_
Yes it will work, however it will not be bright. 20 volume isn't going to lift you enough to achieve a bright result. But it can achieve beautiful results. I agree with the advice to strand test ❤
My instructions said add 2.4 FL of developer, I would recommend going by the instructions on the box but I personally add until it's a consistency that's not too thick or loose.
Yes after a few washes depending on how you wash your hair and how often you wash your hair, I wash mine in ice cold water to keep the color longer. If you don't want to keep it long hot/warm water will wash it out faster but it will keep a light red tint.
Hey, if you are nervous do a strand test in the back of your hair. I personally do not think it's damaging but it depends on what you're hair has been through, I'm sure it will look great on you. Let it sit on your hair for a total of 30 mins but keep checking on it until you are happy with the color. It is okay to wash it out sooner than 30mins.
This is a little bit of a tricky subject, so I want to help you out ❤ within the hair industry the term "damaged hair" is referencing the symptoms of damaged hair like dryness, breakage, etc. This makes marketing easy and it helps clients understand their unique challenges and how a professional can assist. However, in real life anytime we open the cuticle of the hair, there is actually some damage. Everytime we lift pigment from the hair in order to go lighter, there is damage because we're destroying proteins within the hair to get that new color. So when your using a high lift color, your definitely technically damaging the hair because we are lifting your old color and were opening everything up to create that new color. BUT if the hair was healthy before, the symptoms of damage will be minimal or even nothing. So while, yes, that hair is not in perfect condition it can still be in very good condition and you can enjoy a new color. If your hair is "compromised", meaning damaged, by other treatments, heat, environmental factors etc. Then I wouldn't recommend a high lift without some pre treatments and strand testing. Hope that helps a little!
The breakdown is in the drop down description I use 1 1/2 tube and mix developer until its not too thick or runny, hair texture and length varies but it's best to have more than less!!!
Yes I've dyed my own hair for years I went to the Salon once and thought it was simple enough to do at home, it was my first time actually recording the process and I wanted to make sure yall could actually see the process!
I love how you showed the products. So many people flash it and I'm like wait its blurry, or I don't be catching it... Turned out beautiful!
Thank you, I totally agree ! Let me know what you want to see next!!!
Ever since I dyed my hair red I never want to go back to any other color! 😍I love it so much, even if annoying sometimes
Totally agree!!!

It came out nice n shiny.

Do you think this could work with a strong pink? Thanks for the video❤
Yes, I think it could work but I always recommend doing a test strand to avoid wasting time and money! 😊 Thank you!
How much developer do you use? I currently have this hair dye but it DOESNT have instructions sooo I’m all watching YT videos 😂😂😭
They say to add 2.4 fl.oz of volume developer. I personally juat pour depending on the consistency not to thick or too loose, hope this helps!
How much of the developer did you put I the bowl I have the same bowl as you on the side it has numbers do you remember how much you put
Hey, I go to line 210
Mariea Love okay thanks 😊
You're welcome, I would love to see how it comes out!

I died my hair red with a 30 but a different brand and it didn't lightened my hair as much as I wanted, should I wait for it to fade and then try this loreal magenta with a 30 or will it not work because there is dye in my hair
it’ll work over box dye :))
Hmmm how much developer should I put for 1 dye ” 1.2”oz?

Mariea Love okay tyy
Awesome🤗
Thank you!
If I use 20 developer on dark hair would it still work and be bright
I'm not sure, if anything buy the smallest bottle of 20 developer (sample size) and do a test piece on the back of your hair
Yes it will work, however it will not be bright. 20 volume isn't going to lift you enough to achieve a bright result. But it can achieve beautiful results. I agree with the advice to strand test ❤
Im going to be using two tubes how much developer do i use?

Will this work on black hair
does it eventually wash out?
Yes after a few washes depending on how you wash your hair and how often you wash your hair, I wash mine in ice cold water to keep the color longer. If you don't want to keep it long hot/warm water will wash it out faster but it will keep a light red tint.
does this damage your hair? I bought the exact same products and this is my first time dying my hair, so I’m kinda nervous lol
Also, forgot to ask, how long did you leave the color in your hair before you washed it out?

@@mariealove3001 can i ask you how much does it cost ? All the products
@@hibadva4916 For the 2 tubes of color and developer it's about $25.00 with the mixing bowl, brush, and vaseline it's about $35-$40 for everything.
Do you have to shampoo after you dye
Typically I wash with water as cold as I can take with conditioner until the water runs clear
How long did you leave it
I personally let it sit for 30mins, the details are in the description! check on it until you are satisfied
I love your video
