@@dmmice2344 Many semi permanents will unfortunately do that. :/ the weird thing is despite all the dye bleed it lasts a ludicrous amount of time before fading.

oh yes! I've been using the loreal hicolor highlights in red for years! never needed to bleach my hair and it always comes out a vibrant red every time 🥰 then when I'm over it.. color remover and brown dye and I'm good. But I recently wanted blue hair so I had to bite the bullet and bleach my hair. But I'm satisfied 100%
I have red hair and want to go blue also ! But have only used the hicolor highlight in red to brighten, did you succeed in getting to blue with the bleach? If so what were your steps or what do you recommend? Thanks!
Did the L'Oreal highlift come out first try??? Which remover did you use? I'm wanting to go back to blonde, but not sure what color remover to use, or how damaging it will leave my hair
mine didn’t come out as bright, are we supposed to do it more than once?? All these videos get it in one shot I don’t understand

I love this dye I just used it to do a sombre on my hair because I had dyed black hair from brown and had dreads for 5 months so I had a lot of root growout. 💖 I didn't use manic Panic but maybe I can do what you did to help my natural hold the red brighter and longer. I used extra ions red intensifier tho so it helped a little. 💖 Absolutely love your videos

I’ve been dying my hair this color for 7 years, well now I’m bleaching it and there’s 2 TWO bands that won’t lift. After 2 bleaches of 30 volume. I’m wondering if I should’ve just left it alone 😂. I enjoy your videos so much tho!!!❤️

If I have bleach blonde hair how would I dye my hair red with the least damage? A lower developer and the hi lift? I hear manic panic bleeds alot. I just dont want my hair getting over processed and falling out

Hey ! I recently dyed my hair red and it turned out more like a pink/magenta which i was not going for. So i wanted to try the L‘oreal hicolor in red on top of that but i‘m not sure if that would work since it says ‚for dark hair only‘ which kinda scares me so i wanted to ask you if you would recommend doing it or not. 🤓

My hair is similar in the root area but has lots of red in the ends. Do I need to use color oops before using the Hicolor?

This is kind of old so I might not get a response 😬 I bleached the front and some of th back of my hair and dyed it purple and pink. I want just one color now and I think burgundy would look nice. I’ve seen this color all over lately but I know it’s advertised for dark hair only so could I use this on the bleached parts of my hair? Or would I have to use a different dye? I also used a natural black permanent hair dye maybe 3-4 years ago which turned parts of my hair red when bleaching. Can you help me?
Hi I went to a hair salon and I wanted my hair hidden rainbow they told me I couldn't because my hair is not virgin so they dye it bright red and I want to know would I be able to dye it rainbow or I have to bleach it again and that's what I don't want in my hair..

Hey I was wondering once I had my hair dyed with hicolor magenta what other brand of dye could I use to mix conditioner in to maintain the color? (Since it's permanent I can't use the hicolor dye without developer)

Did you dilute the manic panic just for her ends or her entire head? My hair is dyed red but faded also and every time I recolor my roots obviously always come out brighter when I use the hicolor so I'm just trying to figure out how to balance out the difference in color
Do that ✨ don't use the other thing for the ends for the hair, or it will be fried >.< refresh the color with semi permanent dies or masks :P.

REALLY IMPORTANT QUESTION!! So yesterday I bleached my hair and tried adding ion flamingo pink (the color didn’t stay so right now it’s just blonde and brown) and today I’m using this hicolor red. The lady at Sally’s Beauty said to add 30 volume developer to the hair dye then apply. Is that safe being that I just bleached it? Or should I just put the dye in by itself???
It all depends. what volume you used to bleach it the first time? Have you ever bleached your hair before that?
Aka Aislinn the first time I believe we used 30 volume and it made the top of my head neon yellowey and the bottom like medium brown (I had box dyed it back to my natural color last May so the brown parts were from that dye). I actually just finished using the magenta and it looks very good but the bottom is just a darker pink than the rest.
Im trying to do mine like a wine red color. I have livht brown hair (dyed) kind of like an amber color. Any tips? Permanent dye only.

For mixing the paint with conditioner, would it still work if I were to make an entire bottle mix of conditioner and dye?? To use a few more times to keep the color in instead of dying it multiple times? Idk if I make sense lol Pls respond need advice 😭😭😭
I just watched her video about keeping dyed hair bright, and she recommends exactly what you said! So if you used red dye, then pour some of that red dye into your bottle of conditioner [enough that the conditioner turns red] and then use that every couple of shampoos, to refresh your colour.

Will it still come out the same if I use just magenta with the vampire red over it ??
It is high lift, so some of the red will lift and you may get this color melt where it's still bright red at the roots and becomes more magenta closer to your ends.
Edit: the color melt looks really cool, forgot to mention that.

How did Vampire Red turn out so bright for you? It's like an extremely dark red for me and I have L'Oreal HiColor HiLights with 30 vol developer underneath :(

Olaplex. Look for things that say "bonding"

Use a harsh shampoo to scrub off the color from your skin. Always works for us pale ladies.
I currently have been dying my hair with these for about 6 months. If I want to go from this red to blue how would I do that? 😬

Awe thank you! I would start by using hot water when you shampoo and use a clarifying shampoo or anti dandruff shampoo. Then I would try a color remover like color oops and see where that gets you. I’ve seen a few videos on TH-cam of going from red to blue maybe binge watch all of those to see what they did 👍🏻💕

Why is there such a bright red/pink stain on her skin? Shouldn't you have taken care of that with some cream beforehand or something?
Forgot to wipe around her hair line . Should've put vaseline so it wouldn't stain her skin.

If you’re a stylist then how come you never use anything that isn’t sold in Sally’s? The only thing I’ve ever seen you use is a professional bleach/color remover. Other than that why haven’t you used anything that is sold in cosmoprof or salon centric?
It would be SO much cheaper for me to use professional stuff, but I don’t because I want the people watching to have access to the products I use.
