    I like this way of separating it since most people talk about only the dopamine spikes and negatives parts of that. I think this is in fact one of the big issues for our youth right now.

    I have noticed there are some foods that just makes me feel good mentally: Dark chocolate (70% cocoa), Sardines and cottage cheese. Might be something going on there with the neurotransmitters.

      Nicolai, it might be a dopamine-triggering food (dark chocolate) or it might be a food that your gut microbiome really knows how to digest (we have a video on the gut microbiome, check it out). And it might not be dopamine, it can be serotonin. Actually, 95% of serotonin is produced in the gut. So, the situation is not that straightforward. I hope it helps :)
