- The best comparison between the two games Dying Light 2 Stay Human (2022) and Dying Light (2015), I will compare the most important similarities, physics, details, textures and special places in the game. The entire video was created by myself (GameLight).
The Dying Light 2 Stay Human update added the long-awaited weapon (Firearms Update), which all fans of the game were waiting for. There are four types of weapons in the game: Pistolt, SMG, Assoult Riffle, and Shotgun.

Really surprised with the effort they put into the guns. Great sound design, animations, and feedback.
They actually cooked very well
and they fixed a lot of flaws in gun logic that dying light 1 had, like bolts magically being locked back already
Slowly but surely dl2 will become the new dl1 and this is the first step. Reloaded is everything we could have asked for graphically, and after 2 years the addition of guns is just the icing on top. Dlc 2 is gonna be NUTS if they bring back crane as a sentient volatile
He is not a sentient volatile, he is a superhuman like Waltz. After The Following, he got captured and been experimented on. So he is an old man with grey long hair and tats now. He can turn into a beast mode and beast all over the place, though.

He must be a fast learner, and combined with his incredible agility, he can do tricks almost no one can. It's probably not the first time he used a gun, he spent his whole life outside Villedor after all. There's a lot of things that happened before his arrival at the city that we don't know
I mean you can't aim down sight without a mid game skill
@@kingjonny95, it's not a midgame skill, if you don't rush through the story and just playing in Old Villedor, while Hakon is awaiting you to tell you about the path to Central Loop.

Guns in dl2 are way better. It’s just a shame there’s only one way to unlock them and it’s a repetitive pain in the ass.

Dying light 2 is far from a masterpiece the story is still bad the voice acting abysmal and there’s a bug where u can’t complete the survivor missions solo the game still has a LONG way to go

They feel a lot better to d1 guns felt so out of place I never really used them besides modded ones for fun
And sound so better as well
But its not normal you have to wait 2 years for a feature who was in the first.. they could add it at the beginning

Props to them fixing flaws in gun logic that dying light 1 had.
It was kinda funny seeing the way kyle reloaded, bolts being magically locked back etc. They cooked with this.
(Also the sound of bullets bouncing/shattering off the metal in dl2 is amazing)
Bullet ricochet in dl2 is realistic which is why dl2 wins , dl1 will always be legendary but give it time and this game will be better than dl1

@@jaibharatmaata Atmosphere is better in DL1, but DL2 just plays a lot better.
The VSM was to check whether the block would be or not. In part 1, you don't have a block, you just aim, and in the second part you are treated logically with another button. In the second one, the block is already on the right button, not aiming.
Finally there is a weapon dying light 2

YES!!! I've had dying light 2 since it came out & I still haven't played it yet & I love dying light, leveled all the way up in part 1, now I get to experience the true definitive edition version of the game on my first playthrough, sad you have to wait 3 years to play the true version of games these days, the upgrade is definitely appreciated though, I feel like I just found a legendary weapon that's extremely rare, but boy I'd be pissed if I beat it already, I'd need that men in black memory eraser stick just to forget my playthrough to get the full/real experience LETS GO BABY! 😁
Most Dying light one zombies are deaf and blind so that's why they don't react.

I do kinda wish they added like new guns besides bringing the old ones back, but I'm not fully complaining. I guess Techland just wanted the classic weaponry back.
In the first part there were more guns, but in the second all to one
I find it so funny that DL1 was built with guns so it would obviously have more features under their belt however the second game which had melee focused combat in mind that didn't get guns until 2 YEARS after it was released has more details/features that came with them than the first game did.

Wait DL2 had no guns at release, they made new updates ? Not having guns was a big part of the reason of why I quickly left the game, it was boring having only melee weapons !
You had crossbows,bows, a great hook for combat too, and they even added polearms before the firearms.
They wrote the entire world to be without firearms,which I appreciated.
I never felt drill againt a demolisher boss or volatile in dl1 lol, they are both 2-4 shot with a shotgun, whos scared of anything if theres the quick and easy way out, these op weapons were also too easy to fight.
Wheres the fun in a game if theres an easy solution to what makes the game special and scary lol.
I played dl2 first, and then dl1 and the volatiles in dl2 scared me more, in dl1 I could just whip out a gun and kill them in a few shots, no big deal, dont even have to get close, just spam clicking.
dying light 2 is improvement version of dying light 1 but dying light 1 scary vibe still unbeatable
Guns in dl2? Probably not gonna use them a lot.
The only thing I now want in dl2 is the ability to ricochet bullets.

Has physics in the title but doesn't compare DL1's strong suit, the ragdoll physics. Also missing plenty of improvements made by DL2 in the guns section. It also doesn't compare the small details that were in dl1 (e.g., the zombies admiring the sunset at 8:00 pm. Shitty comparison if you ask me

Dying Light 2 is still terrible we should have been had all of this as soon as the game came out but these big companies are so used to dropping unfinished games just to take your money then dropping these shitty half assed updates to convince you that the game is innovative.

in dl2 if you are playing on a new game plus, firearms are not that good, still very cool, good for renegats
(Imo)They should make that slide animation just like in dying light, but your head will be able to move. Otherwise its impossible to aim or you're just a highly skilled player to perform it.
although the game is from 2022, but the weapons were not added until 2024, try to play everything without firearms, it's much better :D

DL2 is far better in this regard
Dying Light 2 is clearly an improvement in terms of graphics and animations but the game FEEL of Dying Light is superior imo. The physics based gameplay just feels better than Dying Light 2. Love both games though.

The fact that nobody pays attention to someone having a gun in dl2 is really dumb dl1 everyone reacts to the guns unlike dl2 even though in dl2 it would make more sense since people would be confused, jai even said not to show anyone but nobody cares and the argument that renegades are on drugs makes no sense bc Renegades still get scared of aiden when aiden kills their friends so even if a gun wasn't something they're used to common sense would still make them run, also this doesn't explain why normal humans pay no mind to a rare weapon in the game.
With this I can finally say that I want to play DL2 and it looks way better now

DL1 had lack of fire guns, and customizations for them, pretty boring in that aspect
Si hablas sobre detalles cuando tomas a un zombie y lo avientas por un lado el nombre es hagarre te darás cuenta que cuando se chocan con la pared en el 2 no sale lo mismo y en el primero igual los infectados que no son los vírales pero igual tambn los virales y no me acuerdo cómo se le llaman ahhh tanto que juego que no me acuerdo son los que por cualquier ruido vienen. En el dying light 2 parece que están sincronizados y en el uno asta cuando se van parecen como que si fueran del juego y no solo colocados si juegas el dos y vez la manera en donde como y a donde van o si se ven algo de lejos verás que parecieran como si anduvieran paseando y en el dos parece el baile de Michael Jason el baile de los zombies y como decía los infectados que andan en el ambiente cuando chocan con la pared pareciera que si tocaran las paredes cuando usas el hagarre y en el dos pareciera que la cabeza atraviesa la pared y solo cuando los lanzas con patada voladora si tocan a las paredes
Igual olvide mencionar que los zombies del 2 salen de las paredes en donde no hay entradas de aire ni puertas y ventanas totalmente pared

The first game has already become more nostalgic, and the developers are trying to make Dying Light 2 great, so that everyone will like it. The game has not been abandoned and will be improved

I see more gun comparison than physics which dl2 failed even after 7 years.
