The video was not created for hate purposes, only for entertainment. As the author of the channel, I do not choose any game, everyone can choose their own. Both games are good in their own ways. Skull and Bones received a lot of hate, but I see a lot of players who like the game.
the reloading part was wrong their are cannons in 2nd level shown by small flaps. bedar has more total side cannons.but dont worry you still win the realism part. enjoy sot they each have a different play style.have a good one.

hmm. the ball would have to hit something incredibly hard and stone or metal probably wont blow or shatter and even if they did the flame on impact would be really small and so fast youd need a super slow mo camera almost to see it. theres a video of a glass or ice ball breaking and sparking but that was glass not metal ofcourse.

Sea of Thieves was and still is truly unique, Rare really outdone themselves with the game. Definitely the best pirate game of this era and i can't find anything else quite like it, i already tried AC Black Flag, Blackwake, Skull and Bones,etc...and none of them can provide me with a similar experience.
Managing and customizing your ship, looking for treasures, doing tall tales, naval combat, sea monsters, nice graphics and wave physics,etc...the game is just so good and very fun and addictive even if you are playing alone but it can be even more fun if you go in with friends. My grudges about it is it's online only and the toxicity of the PvP lords who sailing around sinking people's ships just for the fun of it but there is Safer Seas now so the game is basically friendly for everyone if they don't mind the limitations. Last but not least, the cosmetics is kinda pricy but i understand Microsoft need to make money to keep the game running, but even then they do gave you a chance to grind for every single cosmetics in the game without even paying 1 dollar if you have the luck and patience.
Oh and, the Pirates of the Caribbean crossover is a cherry on top, if you love those movies like i do, this game is a must-have.
i mean blackwake was a close second, the reloading is extremely accurate and naval battles are pretty fun
@@baanaanaana Agree, except i couldn't even play anymore because barely anyone is playing that game these days. The game is abandoned as far i know and i never said it was bad, just that it's nowhere near the experience that Sea of Thieves gave me.

The storms are always on the same spot in Skull and Bones. That really, really sucks. It plays like an early 2000 game.

I prefer sea of thieves ( although i have not played it a lot) because for someone to feel a pirate or an explorer needs to feel the immersion. The third person view kills this immersion in first place.

There WAS ( unfortunately) a space battleship pvp game called DREADNOUGHT . You were watching your ship along the teammates ' s and enemies ' ships in third person view but this didn't break the immersion.

The cannon one was because other cannons were firing. I believe there were ones below. Notice the smoke and kick back doesn't come from that cannon until it is loaded, so the projectiles must be coming from others.

As a true pirate fan, I was really looking forward to Skull & Bones being the more realistic version of Sea of Thieves.. Unfortunately they are just two different games with same genre. Not quite the pirate RPG I had expected from the trailer.
It's not shooting from the same one multiple times, there is a lower deck that those shots are coming from.
Ngl I expected Skull&Bones to be a competitor to Sea of Thieves but they ended up being 2 completely different games. While SoT aims to be a sandbox pirate game/simulator, S&B is more of an open world adventure game.

SoT its a game that will be very hard to beat, it does almost everything to perfection, makes you feel like a real pirate
0:24 your cannon is not firing several times without reloading you have cannons on the second deck of your ship you just cant see them.
for base cannons not bombard you have 7 total cannons read the cannon details next time you are in the ship management window.
I won’t lie huge waves that can completely wreck your ships is a must in Sea of thieves. 😊
I wish they would add water physics to player interactions, that is the one thing SoT is missing in this comparison.
totaly agree except one things : for pirates or mariner, swiming is not an evidence. some peoples had a bad level in swiming but majority just can't swim. If you had the clothes and the sea condition, knowing how to swim don't change so much you hability to survive if you fall out the ship.

Even still, from what I've seen, the physics in S&B don't exist, the game is better for people that have spent their time grinding, the BOAT has STAMINA which is atrocious, and overall, does not make sense.

Sea of thieves had a number of issues when it first came out which I won't defend, but even still it let you do more than sail. It's considerably cheaper right now

SoT is a game about pirates and their life but Skull and Bounes is a game about big company tryin to mimic everything cool about pirates but with addin tons high price DLC's

Wow the cannons bit is getting annoying ships in skull and bones have lower deck cannons that do work that's why culverns and demicannons are classified as all deck weapons those squares are gunports and you can see them open on npc ships and other player ships when they aim don't believe me join a friend go into camera mode and watch them fire culverns

I belive that these games dont have much in comon and are not ment to be in a comparison. As smeone who has spent 1000s of hours in sot I belive that sot is better however I also enjoy s&b. Most people expected s&b to be a asassins creed black flag 2 which it is not its not a single player game but multiplayer and very different from sot as the environments are much more complex and some features are plain not possbile in a game like s&b. Next if you want to compare bugs and amounts of eatures then you should compare it to the release version of sot in its original state with no content. 😊😊😊
It would be possible to get the old version of SOT, I would get it, but I don’t have such an opportunity, but isn’t it funny to you that the captain can’t swim? (I understand that this is a system limitation, but at least they would add animation)
I'm glad you liked S&B, when filming the video I saw a lot of people with large ships actively playing the game.
Why the developement time of Skulls and Bones was longer than the one of Sea of Thieves was up to this point. So on time spend we would have to compare SoT in a year with Skull and Bones now (and give Rare another 150 Mil to improve the game to make it fair on money spend). And they marked it as the next Black Flag for nearly 10 years. And then when the game we get then cant even hold up to Black Flag they claim its a AAAA Title and a fully completed game. Dude your cannons get reloaded with air, the charakter model floats over the ground because they didnt even bother to do the walking right. I can build a walking animation like that with free assets in an hour. And they had access to all this from black flag but fucked up the implementation. This game is World of Warships not a Pirate game. Btw i dont say it cant be fun to play ... its just not what they said it would be and the price is a bad joke for what quality they dilivered.
@Telendil I agree with the fact that it's not worth the money and not what they promised but I enjoyed it for what it's worth and only payed 17$ for ubi +so I could also try some others in the month.
S&B was not meant by Ubisoft to be a good game. It was meant to be flashy and theatrical to get you to get ripped off by $70 price tag. Make as much money as possible then onto the next monetized micro transaction vomit that AAA titles do.

Sea of Thieves I have endured way more toxicity than I have in most games lol.
I've played sea of thieves for years and adore it to this day but skull and bones is enjoyable. They are much different then each other and are both fun and enjoyable for different reasons. I mean yes they are both pirate games, SoT is all about player skill and player interactions driving adventures. Skulk and bones reminds me more of Skyrim or other RPGs with pre set quests to do, with some player interactions mixed in. I dont really think its fair to compare them or judge people for thinking one game is fun/better everyone has there own preferences

Skull and Bones is the biggest disappointment in gaming in a loooong time. But it's Ubisoft, so I expected nothing less.
Skull and Bones is bad. They would profit more if it was like SOT, but with better quaility and content. Maybe the biggest minus is that u can walk only on land, in sea, ur the Ship only.
In sea of thieves you can sink a gallon that was stacking for 12 hour and satisfying here them beg for mercy as they lose an days worth of loot in 30 minutes. SOT is the better game
