Settled, as a new subscriber I have to admit, this series is a masterwork of film making, especially the ending. It was absolutely riveting and I was on the edge of my seat this whole time. Great series!
Hey man I just wanted to say that I have a baby girl on the way and a ton of stress going on and I have been having some major anxiety attacks lately, and I was able to put this on and just let my mind blank and watch the full 11 hours every time I feel rough and thank you for doing this. I loved the series
This is single-handedly the best video I have ever seen on this platform. Have only been watching your content for a few weeks now, and never even played RuneScape. But this was truly a masterpiece. I will remember McTile.
I’ve been watching this for about a week and bravo. Such a fun and well edited series. I haven’t played in over a decade so it felt like I barely knew what was going on, but I stayed for your positive attitude and watching you level up (so efficiently) was a joy. I enjoyed the mini explanations along the way. Watching you get the rare drops and having the same excitement for even the most mundane parts of inventory juggling is wholesome
This is one of those series that is going to live on in the memories of those here for it, and those who find it later. Heck of a journey, and I've enjoyed every minute.
I've never watched a full 11 hour video all the way through, not even close, but this series did it for me. Thank you for this. Runescape was my childhood and watching this felt awesome. Super emotional end. Love it. Keep up the amazing content!
You honestly did a fantastic job on this series. I've been watching it since you launched it. Watched all of Swampletics while waiting for the newest Tileman to come out. You kind of inspired my partner and I to start an ironman journey of our own, so I thank you for that. I think my favorite part is the conclusion to this series.. How you reacted when you got that final shot out on Zuk. I normally don't feel emotionally involved in YT series but seeing that cape on your avatars back legitimately made me happy. Then, to close it all out, you picked a fantastic song to couple with that ending animation. Not gonna lie; a legit tear came to my eye because I was both happy and sad. Happy because you achieved your goal but sad because all stories eventually come to an end. Bravo, Settled. Bravo. I look forward to where you go next!
Why am I crying? This was such a beautiful journey to join you on, truly thank you for all of your time and effort. I’m new to the channel, but I’m here to stay. I’ve never been more invested in any other RuneScape gameplay. When you said your heart was pounding, mine was too, awe inspiring, sir. Thank you again.

Can we appreciate the fact that he didn't just beat the inferno, but got No Luck Required on his first try? That means perfectly avoiding damage from Jad and Zuk.
I think that Settled and this series proves that anything can become entertaining, it only matters who you're with and their outlook. I have never before played OSRS, and I don't plan on playing it at any point in the future to be honest. But this series kept me enthralled for hours and hours on end. This is truly the first time I have not checked the remaining runtime on a possible ending to the video. I thought about it. I considered it. I wondered "Will he have to spend a month learning herblore to redo this run?". But I resisted the urge to check. I just wanted to find out, exactly when you did, whether the run was successful. And my heart broke. When he finally won, I popped off at home, in synch with the video. Settled, please continue to be an inspiration and driving force for so many out there, including myself. Much love to you, this series, and everything you've accomplished, ever.
The ending really got me emotional, really well made and great series. I felt all the pain and happiness and sadness just from watching, why isn't this in cinemas? XD Love you settled and hope you see this message
You never fail to capture the best part about this game: Not playing it how it was intended. The outro made me nostalgic for things I literally saw happen in this video today. That's some incredible talent.
Knowing how far you take it in this series and then seeing you get hyped over something like talking to the wood cutter tutor, talking out your plans, or even just getting a rat to aggro you is a true treat. Thank you for the great content and your dedication
The most unbeleivable thing in this entire series is how you managed to convince Jimmy to log in to do PEST CONTROL. If that ain't a real firend I don't know what is.
Just wanna say that the 2-second "McTile is sad" sting about 3.5hrs into this video is the only call to action that has ever worked on me. Congrats on the subscription. ❤ Other content creators- take notes.
Don't know if this will be read but this series was just. Everything I needed when I watched it. I was home and lonely spending my first Christmas with my biological father since I was 2 years old and I was scared. But I was on a journey taking it one step at a time to get over my fears. I feel I went through a journey with this video as I watched parts of it every day to get through. The ending song choice was incredible and made me cry for the first time in months. As someone who has never watched Run Scape this was such a special video and I'm eternally grateful the algorithm gave me this. I cannot wait for what is next
Man, I've watched a lot of gaming content over the years but this was my first time following an entire adventure like this!! Great personality that allowed me to enjoy every step of the journey. And when you finally achieved your goal in the end after that MASSIVE HEARTBREAK moment, I felt so happy for you man! Thank you brother!
After being away for a few years from any Runescape content, am happy to have checked back in to see this massive crazy journey. Cheers Mr Settled, amazing job
Insane series man! It inspired me to start aswell. Im 3days and 12 hours of gameplay in. Died yesterday at lava dragons with rune kite and rune axe in my inventory. Went back today and basically got rune kite , axe and shortsword within 15 kills!!! I am so hyped. Not gonna stay there for prayer 43.. Gonna continue the journey elsewhere
I just started back on OSRS and got into youtube content, so that’s how I found this and man this is literally one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. I listened to it a lot at work but I watched the finale and outro. The outro of this video is so amazing and impressively good. Thank you for making this McTileman.
Holy shit, I never watch long form content like this, and I haven’t been into RuneScape since like 2008. But I watched this all the way through. You might’ve unironically made my favorite TH-cam video of all time. And the Good Kid music at the end with the animation of the tiles filling out? Ugh so good. Absolutely incredible man. Thank you for your service McTile

I just binged this video over the last few days while training agility, and man. You're actually making a grown ass man tear up a little over this 20 year old low polygon game at the end. It's incredibly just how much emotion and heart you manage to show through these videos.
I caught the start of the series a while ago, but kept trying to pick it up but dropping it after seeing it wasn't done. This was recommended me. I will be watching it
Apart from watching the entirety of your Swampletics and Tileman series 4 times or more each. Really shows the depth of knowledge you possess and have shared through your experiences. I’ve finally gotten the courage to make a tileman myself with some interesting twists. Thank you so much for the countless hours of enjoyment you’ve given me.
I've rewatched this and swampletics several times now, I honestly don't get bored of them. It's nice for the background and interesting when you fully pay attention too. Even when I know what already happens, I can't help but feel excited when you get that drop you were farming for or finally hit that level goal. Thank you for making such wonderful series. Looking forward to the one HP challenge conclusion when it comes time for that, but these videos are great to fill in the time between new episodes!
I don't even play this game, neither understand half of the things that happened, yet somehow just having this video as white noise while working for like two weeks, made me felt so comfortable, and at the end I just felt really involved and that outro was perfect, I want more I just didn't know it was this good, GJ, I'll continue watching more of your content for sure!
Holy shit dude what an amazing video. I played Runescape for maybe 30 mins waaaaaaaay back in like 2000 or so, and have not touched it since. However, the algorithm gods decided to lead me to your video. And, despite having pretty much zero interest in playing Runescape and only having a basic understanding of the game, I've sat here for almost 2 hours having a few beers and just becoming really engrossed in your video. Your comittment, energy, enthusiasm, enjoyment and ability to explain things just a little so that I could follow along has made this one of the best videos i've come accross in YEARS. Sadly, I have to go to sleep now, but damn am I looking forward to watching the remaining 9 hours or so in the coming days. Thanks a lot
Settled I just want to say thank you. It's this series (with some additional background from your other friends) that has got me back into runescape. Something I wasn't really allowed to play as a kid because my parents thought it would give our pc a bug. Now I can finally go back and do the things I dreamed of growing up. The ending cinematic gives me chills everytime I watch it, knowing what you've done to do that
I just got back into OSRS a week or two ago since I was a kid. And I got this series recommended to me from my friend. The past week and a half I’ve been watching this series while I rekindle my love for the game and I can confirm that this was an amazing series to experience. Mad props to you Settled dedicating a year and a half to this series. Wish you the best in the future!
i remember watching swampletics for the first time, it made me want to try out runescape for the first time since i was in like, elementary school. When I saw the beginning of McTile, I was eager to watch episodes as they came up, but I ended up getting distracted, and not really keeping up as much as I would have liked. seeing this 18 month journey that I only originally saw the first 6 of completed now is incredible. ive been in such a low spot lately, and when i got this video in the recommended, i started watching it on the side. I started playing osrs again, remembering how insane the effort is to level up skills to even 50 or 60, let alone 90. i really cannot fathom the emotions you must have felt the first time you died to zuk at 20 health, and when you mentioned the lingering regret on the herblore grind i felt that, watching McTile finally earn the infernal cape was beautiful. much love ❤

Literally almost brought me to tears at the end man, I could feel your sheer joy finally reaching this achievement. Congrats brother. Keep it up!
Anytime I get discouraged on my grinds, I come back and watch McTile or Swampletics. Your dedication is inspiring.
I think it's probably poor emotional fortitude - hope that answers your question!
Why did you do this to me? Now I gotta spend 11 hours of my life getting me back into spending the next 3000 hours of my life in Gielinor.
The ending song hits too hard as the series wraps up. Your videos are on a whole separate level
The end of an era
Dude... This is insane, The sheer emotions we probably all felt during this epic adventure is just overwhelming ! Thank you for this superb dedication !
Can we appreciate the fact that he didn't just beat the inferno, but got No Luck Required on his first try? That means perfectly avoiding damage from Jad and Zuk.
Blessing to Glop and Mctile. We’ll follow you where ever you go
Simply a masterpiece
The only level I ever doubted was Runecrafting lvl 2
Thanks for all the effort Settled! You’re the best!
The ending really got me emotional, really well made and great series. I felt all the pain and happiness and sadness just from watching, why isn't this in cinemas? XD Love you settled and hope you see this message
Chefs Kiss 😘 🤌
Woah. Hope you’re doing well mr cassell, I havent watched any of your stuff in a while but you were my friend when I was a loner teenager, thank you.
You have a child??? 😂 congrats and god speed sir. 🫡
Fantastic series! Happy for you!
Felt like I was with you for the whole journey and it’s so weird that I wanna watch this again because it’ll feel so fresh
You never fail to capture the best part about this game: Not playing it how it was intended.
The outro made me nostalgic for things I literally saw happen in this video today. That's some incredible talent.
What an amazing series, thank you for all your hard work and dedication! ❤
2nd time rewatched this, still feels emotional on the ending, phenomenal series my good man.
Knowing how far you take it in this series and then seeing you get hyped over something like talking to the wood cutter tutor, talking out your plans, or even just getting a rat to aggro you is a true treat. Thank you for the great content and your dedication
Literally watched the entire thing over a week, the nostalgia, the story.. the everything. Amazing, truly a masterpiece bro
The most unbeleivable thing in this entire series is how you managed to convince Jimmy to log in to do PEST CONTROL. If that ain't a real firend I don't know what is.
I have never watched anything related to runescape and this came up in my recommendations. Y'all already know I'm watching all of this.
Never ever played runescape before but i am so intressted in watching this thank you for making quality content.
Just to update started my first ever runescape account a week ago its an ironman and currently going for 99 fm at wintertodt
@@unreale2695 also made an ironman after watching ours TH-cam I got no idea what im doing though, do you still play? got any tips? :)
This is the single greatest RuneScape series ever made! Thank you!
Just wanna say that the 2-second "McTile is sad" sting about 3.5hrs into this video is the only call to action that has ever worked on me. Congrats on the subscription. ❤
Other content creators- take notes.
this is the coolest series ever i love it i get ur dopamine from ur drops too runescape should litereally sponsor u doing challenges
I wish you all the best :)
@DonYagamoth the series started under 2 years ago and their name says ai. i think we know ehat this means

Bravo. Nothing else I can say can adequately describe your journey. Bravo. Bravo.
I just started back on OSRS and got into youtube content, so that’s how I found this and man this is literally one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. I listened to it a lot at work but I watched the finale and outro. The outro of this video is so amazing and impressively good. Thank you for making this McTileman.
Bravo 👏🏽 what an awesome well played, well edited just overall amazing series!!! Loved this. Thank you for an amazing series settled. Bravo 👏🏽
All I have to ask is what’s next you carved out such a legendary place in so many places and hearts, you will always be THE tile man. I can’t wait to see how you or if you continue (and you were always were humble about it coming from Sram) I can’t wait to keep waiting your amazing videos
This series made me get back into osrs today. Watched the whole series in 1 week and loved everyone second of it. In McTile we trust
I never reply, but i'm taking my time here to thank you for bringing alot of joy in my bussy life last week, bingewatched this and loved it! I can't have the time to play runescape and get addicted again, but this felt like playing back in the 2000's again!
Also, the cinematic ending is awesome! Keep up the work!
was fun rewatching this to get caught up with unsettled
I love that every single tile you travel back on tells a small story of patience and endurance. This is such an insane journey.
Swinging by to say I just discovered Settled not too long ago after getting back into Oldschool RuneScape myself. Completely binge watched Swampletics and was enthralled. So excited to continue watching these videos. I’m so impressed. Awesome, awesome content.
This series is giving me bad anxiety. Love it.
Your music at the end caught me off guard(in a good way), i would love to see you upload that or if there is somewhere you have uploaded it i would like to check that out!
Dude you are a madman and a legend for this! Here here!🍻💪
I’m seriously so sad to watch this series end. I have enjoyed it for the past several days.
I haven’t played RS in years but I watched every minute of this, one of the best things I’ve ever watched on TH-cam, your story telling and commitment is unmatched. This is legendary.
Found this video a week ago and just finished it and don't regret a single moment of watching this epic video
I will be watching it
just rewatched the whole thing, thanks for always coming with the amazing content and never giving up, truly an inspiration
Couldn’t say whether I like this or Swamp man better but god damn settled is without a doubt the best content creator for this game.
The outro goes so hard it’s on another level man. Whole series was great - so well done.
I started playing osrs again, remembering how insane the effort is to level up skills to even 50 or 60, let alone 90. i really cannot fathom the emotions you must have felt the first time you died to zuk at 20 health, and when you mentioned the lingering regret on the herblore grind i felt that, watching McTile finally earn the infernal cape was beautiful.
much love ❤
Dude I have played for a long time and seen so many people and so much content related to this game and this... you are an artist, a badass, and most certainly a masochist. Never has 11 hours of my life flown by so fast. This series is amazing, you did amazing, I am going to go watch all of your other content right now.
This is my favorite video I’ve ever watched on TH-cam
“I just want to be happy.” God damn I felt this. I’m rewatching and it just hits so hard. Thanks for being real with us on the ups and down, it’s honestly the best part and it feels like I’m playing right there with you.
