I’m 34 now,just had a child of my own and I remember I started playing rs back in middle school, Your content literally got me to dig up my old account I haven’t touched in so many years. Found all my range gear gone half my bank empty. Still now I’m hooked again reliving some childhood just got my ranged to 87. Hoping I can do some of these methods and finally get my hard earned arma bow back. Even though now there’s way sicker bows xD thank you for your awesome videos. Much love dude

Also fun fact! I started playing again after 14 years because of this video. I tried doing a play by play of what you did. #1 I got murdered at dragons a lot and made no money #2 got to level 60 tried camping revenants for lvl 3s got one kill, then murdered 15 times went broke. #3 trying to do quest now to kill bear and get rich!! With that said having a great time so far lol!!! Good video reliving some of the best days of my youth thank you!!

Man I used to play this when I was younger and seeing these videos makes me wanna play again, until it gets super detailed and i don’t even want to bother anymore lol. I wish I understood the game like this though. Still love the videos!

i was in the same boat and was a very casual player for like a decade until last year. if you have the time to grind just start by going for your quest cape and go from there. it seems daunting and like you said the amount of info and detail can be overwhelming, but like many will also say the game is all about having fun, there is no correct way to play and you'll start learning the game in no time
just get on the game.... I was the same way I am a month and half back into the game and haven't looked back. There's something new to do every time you log in. The only thing these videos don't show are the countless hours spent AFK training some combat stats which is unavoidable. It's a great chance to spend time doing more meaningful things while also preparing yourself for the fun stuff. Each skill, each quest, and each requirement you knock for your next steps, you slowly start to understand the game more and become more familiar with items, map locations, and monsters. There is also a point you reach where you go beyond where you stopped as a kid and everything becomes entirely new. Even the stuff you did as a kid gives you a nostalgic feeling when completing it again and reminds you why you even logged in everyday when you were young. Just give it a go.... the worst that can happen is that you decide you aren't having fun and then you can come back to TH-cam and live vicariously through guys like Raikesy.

I got the shadow on my first KC at toa about 2 Sunday’s ago. 150 invo, solo, and with a death. I have been trying so many bosses solo and have been having an absolute blast with it. Sold the entire bank to buy ancestral and a saturated heart.

My brother told me about this video, so I had to take a look.
That is my Artio bot account called ARTlOH. It was a previously ironman account and I wanted to test to see whether I could get to rank 1 artio on the 1 defence highscores. I believe I got to rank 2 before being banned and made a total of 2B gp in the process. You'll be happy to know what the wealth stayed on that account and went down in flames at the same time as I had no intention of goldfarming.
Took me about 2 months to get to that rank, starting on 61 range all the way to about 18m xp.
Thanks for the feature in the video, really made me chuckle.
Also to add, it was a modified RL-client, not a bot client itself.

At lvl 70 in all stats but prayer and slayer (56 and 59 respectively) and sitting on a 97 wilderness skeleton task. Or should I go for fighter torso or just grind up for bandos?my bank is sitting at at 15m right now.

So I am combat 87 with not great combat stats (70 Att, 70 Str, 70 Def, 75 Rng, 65 Mg and like 50 Prayer) who doesn't really PK. I saw you made most of your money from Calisto but at my combat level and lack of Pking I am going to get smoked there by all the 115+. You have any recommendations for someone like me to make big coin? All of my money comes from a good friend who has stacks in game lmao.
