I love the format but I do have a suggestion, maybe when talking about what monster you're killing next you can list out all the monsters (or at least the viable ones) and explain the pros and cons of each. Keep up the great work!
Okay here is a rabbit hole I went down. You can't lamp construction without a house but it looks like Darkness of Hallowvale requires 5 construction to start but not a saw, only a hammer (as per the wiki). This is a boostable requirement so you could do it with stews from level 1 since none of those quests require a saw or construction. After completing if you would jump to 13 construction (the reward is flat and not a lamp) which is enough to start the Perilous Moons quest. During Perilous Moons you have to open a box to receive a hammer, saw and 3 building supplies which could constitute as quest items as together since they aren't item spawns. Just a thought. Excited to see more.
Don't forget with the mage update that air spells will hit the max hit of the highest spell you have unlocked for that tier. Should always be using air spells with an air staff that way you're only burning mind/chaos/deaths etc. Love the series idea man hope to see a lot more!
Man, i think Minotaurs is the move for the level 12 monster. The pure ess, iron arrows, tin and copper would be huge. They also have negative def bonuses.
Almost every account I've created killed chickens til 20s in melee and then cows til 40s. Always south of Fally so I can cook the meat near the dog there. Just something really satisfying/nostalgic about it
Absolute banger dude! I hope you continue this series for a long time to come, great idea and video, also you mentioned being worried about not having enough air runes to train mage, but you got a staff of air, and since the magic rebalance spells scale with your level, so air strike is just as strong as fire strike, with no extra cost.
One of my ironmen accounts was killing 500 of everything, and doing every task I feasibly could before leaving an area (such as 500 Wise Old Man tasks in Draenor!) It was some of the most fun I'd ever had in OSRS. Recorded all the drops, level ups, and tasks in an irl journal, and at the end of each area I wrote about it & some of the things that happened ingame and irl. Getting tiny little upgrades was such a rush. I hope you have as much fun as I did & more!
@@ronaldmcdonald4103 can I ask, honestly, whats enjoyable about this? Once he gets past lvl 10 monsters it's gonna be slow af to record and it's slow af to watch

The result may surprise you in that case. At 53 str when he gets it, his max with the scim was 7, and the Baxe was 8 Since you can't hit 0's on a successful hit this is an average of 4 damage every 4 ticks vs 4.5 damage every 5 ticks. or 1 vs .9 damage per tick, the baxe needs to be at least 10% more accurate, but against what he's fighting it's not (and this is without going in to overkill calcing which i won't do, but it means 4 damage every 4 ticks will still be better when the Baxe hits 5 damage per 5 ticks) tl;dr Despite your assurance, the scimitar is still better for what he's fighting!
@@Xinderkan you do realize that this was recorded while you still could hit 0s on a successful hit right? And the black battleaxe can be used on crush meaning that it will have more than a 10% accuracy vs the bronze scimitar when fighting dark Warriors who have a relatively high HP level making the extra max hit even more effective. Fantastic idea for a series! I've seen it attempted (and abandoned) a couple of times. Mainly I'd point you to Sema Nam who got the furthest but then got held up due to needing to get a specific master clue step to kill one particular monster and since has not continued the series. I don't know if you'll need to make an exception here but it's a long way off I'm sure.
Very fun video, I'm definitely on board. My only suggestion would be for monsters with unique collection logs you might want to modify the restriction to finish the log instead of do 1k kills -- it might feel a little unsatisfying to leave a monster not having gotten its most important drop.
Small loophole in your rules that you may want to consider banning: You are technically allowed to stop fighting a monster just before killing it, giving you most of the xp without the kill count. This would let you get as much combat xp as you want without having to advance to a higher level monster.
Rargh you mentioned fire spells being the strongest at 28:49 but thats not true anymore.
