Welcome to episode 1 of this new series 'One at a time.'
Rules:
-Must kill all monsters in ascending combat order.
-Must kill every monster 1,000 times.
-Quests can be completed (provided I have the items to complete it).
-Allowed to process the drops I get. No resource skilling.
-Shops banned and picking up spawns isn't allowed (except a saw).

Absolute banger dude! I hope you continue this series for a long time to come, great idea and video, also you mentioned being worried about not having enough air runes to train mage, but you got a staff of air, and since the magic rebalance spells scale with your level, so air strike is just as strong as fire strike, with no extra cost.
Don't forget with the mage update that air spells will hit the max hit of the highest spell you have unlocked for that tier. Should always be using air spells with an air staff that way you're only burning mind/chaos/deaths etc. Love the series idea man hope to see a lot more!

Okay here is a rabbit hole I went down. You can't lamp construction without a house but it looks like Darkness of Hallowvale requires 5 construction to start but not a saw, only a hammer (as per the wiki). This is a boostable requirement so you could do it with stews from level 1 since none of those quests require a saw or construction. After completing if you would jump to 13 construction (the reward is flat and not a lamp) which is enough to start the Perilous Moons quest. During Perilous Moons you have to open a box to receive a hammer, saw and 3 building supplies which could constitute as quest items as together since they aren't item spawns. Just a thought. Excited to see more.
i can assure you that black longsword or battleaxe is miles better than bronze scimmy!

I really love all the series you make, I just feel like they get abandoned so often. I don't know if its even worth watching anymore if a series might get dropped :( love you though man. Hope the cats are ok
Loki did like 2-3 episodes of completing the drop tables of a monster so 1k kills would be a bit different. Cant wait to see where this goes. The bank tab would be looking really good on this account soon lol.
We still miss the beastiery, I almost made a series of killing all mobs 1k times, but got absorbed into my chunkman more

Almost every account I've created killed chickens til 20s in melee and then cows til 40s. Always south of Fally so I can cook the meat near the dog there. Just something really satisfying/nostalgic about it

i think a graphic to show what 1000 monsters actually looks like would be great. like at beginning or end of episode physically show what 1000 goblins would look like.

Daddy's home quest also provides a saw , no need to buy one
Need a saw to complete it though, and since it’s a tradable item I would need to get it through a drop

For the sake of being able to take the series further might not be a bad idea to allow resource skilling and use of those resources for production xp but any equipment made can only be kept if the resources where drops, regardless solid video
Man, i think Minotaurs is the move for the level 12 monster. The pure ess, iron arrows, tin and copper would be huge. They also have negative def bonuses.

Since the magic rebalance update aor strike can hit just as hard as your highest strike spell so u might be able to save loads of runes there
And i love how u manual casted but they removed the delay of autocasting

Rargh you mentioned fire spells being the strongest at 28:49 but thats not true anymore. I dont know if this was recorded before the magic rework update but now the standard spellbook all spells of a type (strike, wave, blast, etc.) Take on the max hit of the highest leveled one you have available. So in other words wind strike has a max hit of 8 now if you can cast fire strike.
That ways recorded back in may! Didn’t catch it on the editing!

With the combat changes, all elemental spells of a tier do the same damage as the strongest one you've unlocked (i.e. Wind Strike does the same damage as Fire Strike at level 13). The only time the damage changes is if they have a weakness to a specific element.

Your level 69 should be Black animated armour for tokens, and then do for glory with the 1000 cyclops at 106 for the dragon defender!
dont forget about the magic changes with wind spells being as good as fire, assuming you have the level for fire. Not sure when this was recorded

The real meta would be killing 1000 monks off the rip (since they self heal forever) and getting 99 def/hp/atk so that you don't fall behind stat wise on higher levels :)
Looking forward to me. Theres a slim chance your loot drops may not be enough to defeat the higher levels as you progress. Very scary.

You get a free saw I believe during perilous moons quest so just lamp up to 10 con and 48 slayer and you don't have to cheat for one :p

Also Rargh just a heads up. Fire spells are no longer 'the strongest'. All elements in a tier deal the same damage as the highest you can cast. IE Wind Strike will deal up to 8 damage once you can cast Fire Strike

Just a thought and this may not matter for a bit, but maybe it would be nice for the content to allow training slayer but without picking up any of the loot? Think that'd unlock some really fun options and paths down the line.

I can’t recall if you mentioned Diary tasks being included in the ability to skill bracket but it would be cool if you could consider them too. Just so the account gets more flexibility, ie unlock the ability to kill the wildy single combat bosses.
