- Sorry for the click-bait-y thumbnail--Sam was feeling particularly dramatic today 😂 But yes, alas it is true, we are going to be winding down The Shame List in the coming months. We've so enjoyed this ride and our relationships with all of you, but unfortunately continuing together like this is just not sustainable anymore, and it will be no fun for anyone if we ruin our friendship over it. We will absolutely finish the shows we've started, and if it ever becomes feasible for us to pick up again, we definitely will! But for now, we're going to be going our own ways on TH-cam, and we hope you guys will continue to watch here until "the end," and support our new channels, since we love making content for you!

These are heavy news, but Im happy to hear that you two will keep being friends and are doing this for your friendship. I have seen way to many group reaction channels go up in flames because the relationship gets destroyed, so this feels nice.

This is very understandable. I've contemplated getting more serious about producing TH-cam videos myself. I'm currently unemployed and the level of effort seems like such a daunting task even for me. I found your first stranger things video right after I moved out to live on my own for the first time. I still keep coming back to rewatch every month or so just to remind myself how far I’ve come. It’s weirdly nostalgic and comforting

I discovered this channel only a few days ago.
Just learned that Ted Lasso season 3 begins March 15.
If you two can come together (at the schedule that works for the both of you) it would be amazing. I binged your Ted Lasso season 1 reaction in about a day or two. (Currently watching your season 2 reactions).

From what it looks like Sam wanted to go off and do something different so it look like a good thing to end the channel and she could start up her own reaction channel once he left. Sam really didn't start his own channel so that means off doing other real life stuff.

I'ma just be blunt; it sounds like you just don't like how your relationship changed as a result of having this channel. Don't make excuses by blaming youtube content creation when you're going to do your own videos on your own anyway, just separately. Doesn't make sense to me to abandon a vision you set out with before even 6 months passed. What sort of foundation or axiomatic definition does that set forth for your future endeavors? Maybe you can't handle the various stresses that this project entailed, but yall had something with potential, and decided to kill it before it could come to fruition. Hopefully you dont let that pattern effect your future goals and aspirations as well.
My dude, it's a reaction channel, not a doctoral thesis. It says absolutely nothing meaningful about either of them that they've decided to split.
It's often difficult to get two adult human beings in a room together for 2+ hours at a time on a regular schedule, and when there's external pressure (like a couple hundred people on the internet waiting on you) shit can get stressful and strain relationships.
Sometimes collaborations don't work in the long term, even among close friends, and especially when it's a hobby that you don't absolutely have to make work. I have friends that I love dearly but who I wouldn't let within 100 feet of me while doing certain things because I know that I'd strangle them.
They tried it, they've realized that for whatever reason the collaboration wasn't working for them, they talked about it and decided that this was the best way to go. We don't have any meaningful insight into their motivations or goals aside from the hour or so a week that they've chosen to share with us, and frankly going all High School vice-principal, "THIS COURSE OF ACTION REFLECTS POORLY ON YOU" is a little bit bonkers
