I'm so glad these guys take the time to actually clarify on how some methods would play out. For example, I was tempted to say ''with crucifixion the most common cause of death wasn't exposure to the elements and scavengers-'' but they hit the nail right on the head when they followed with the ''asphyxiation'' part. Apparently the Blood eagle was also a chance at redemption, albeit incredibly difficult redemption. If the victim managed to make it throught the entire execution without screaming in pain, they would be alowed into Valhalla, this is much easier said than done due to the brutality of the execution.
