Basically, this 84-year old woman who has suffered a tragedy in her family, is carrying the entire grill on her shoulders. Hot, hard and long hours of work, and still smiling when people greet her. Snow's was one of the coolest experience I had with Texas BBQ. With a massive line of camps at 5 AM, games they set up during the wait, and watching the pit masters smoke throughout before they open at 8 AM - and topping it off with generous free open bars for cocktail and beer, it was one of a kind. Would love to visit once more.
When Miss Tootsie got teary eyed about her son and her husband, I made my mind up right there that my family is taking a road trip to Snow's. I need to meet her, and I'm dying to try that barbecue.❤
Oh my soul!!!! She reminds me so much of my great grandmother! Even the way she looks! She was from Bowie Texas, and she worked so hard her entire life up until just a couple of days before she passed away

I've been there and met Ms. Tootsie & Kerry. Amazing group of people and amazing BBQ. Even if you can't make it to Lexington, you can have their meat shipped to you and it's every bit as good as being there. It was for me anyway.
