The rise to fame started by ranking best BBQ in Texas according to Texas Monthly's 50 best for many years in a row and was recently kicked up a notch after the popular Netflix show Chef's table featured Tootsie on their BBQ season.
We visited with Pitmaster Tootsie Tomanetz and owner Kerry Bexley to ask them how it is to run Texas most loved BBQ joint and how it is to keep up with the new generation of Pitmasters that don't shy away from using modern day technology to ease the burden of the traditional cooking methods. Dive in to their fiery world of direct heat cooking low and slow, mopping and the now world famous pork steak.

Just did it yesterday, came all the way from Hawai'i. It was well worth the long drive and wait. Food was so delicious, Kerry, Tootsie and Clay are excellent people.
so good had to watch it twice, thank you... can't wait to get back to Texas BBQ.

Snow's BBQ is on my bucket list and I'll have to head out to Lexington to get my fix the next time I'm in Austin or College Station since it's halfway between both cities.
