It’s simple -- Cooper’s in Llano, TX
Terry Black's BBQ in Austin has AMAZING brisket
Goldees or Terry Blacks.
At first, I was waiting for the review on the actual food, but there are already TONS. This is a much better review from a different angle. Thank you.
😊 thanks! Yes, our channel is kinda long format, real world experience. Appreciate the feedback!
Being from Texas, Snow's has great BBQ but this kind of BBQ is everywhere in Texas, You just need to know where to go. Miss Tuttsi is the super cool icon. You can find these places any Saturday/Friday nights/etc in all the small Texas towns.
Wrong.
Definitely wrong
@@SOLDOZERThere’s at least 6-8 places here in Dallas/Ft Worth alone just as good
@@Fazman81 Yeah, but they are not open on Friday/Saturday nights.
How are you from Texas and don't even know how to spell her name? This is what happens when transplants start calling themself Texans.
As a Texas native and not a tourist I can tell you getting to Snows after 6AM is "late". Do NOT get there at 8 or 9.
It take a real buffoon to get in line early in the morning and wait for hours to get BBQ
Born and raised in Texas. I’ve been here 72 years. I would not wait in line 3-1/2 hours for anybody’s BBQ.
"Born and raised in Texas" does not mean you know jack shit about BBQ.
Well. You’re 72. You don’t have time to wait 3.5 hours anyways.
This is true.
@@SOLDOZER Only an idiot would wait 3 1/2 hours in line for food. There are dozens of great BBQ places in the area
Totally agree! From Austin but no matter where I’m from I’d never wait in line that long for any bbq… But it’s a tourist trap situation and more power to the “ones” that want to do that… oh and your letting your woman drive your truck, WRONG….
Gosh this Canadian does love a little BBQ. But not 3 hrs wait, thats the time it takes to fly from here to Texas ! Thanks for taking us on the journey to Snows !
Yeah but Canadians dont know zip about Texas BBQ.
Plenty of places here in Texas with BBQ just as good and you don’t have to wait 3+ hrs.
I feel like Kerry was very ok with hugging you Chris. 😄 We were down in Austin last year. I wish we would have know about Snow's BBQ then. Maybe next time.
If you're out here in the PNW; every summer a group of ~12-15 couples have a week long camp. Every night is a theme night for dinner. On one night I do a BBQ pulled pork and another a BBQ brisket for all including the camp hosts. I also make 2-4 sauces for them as well. This last week, 4 couples did the same for 4 nights & I did both again and added a dutch oven peach cobbler.... Low & slow baby; low & slow....
Very interesting and I’ll bet the barbecue was probably to die for but I don’t know about standing in line 3 hours lol. Fun video.❤
We waited in line at Reds in Maine for their world famous lobster roll....your correct, it’s the journey. We met interesting people etc. was it worth the l o n g wait for the roll....for us, no. But we did it, and can talk about it.
Thanks for the BBQ review and experience
Very cool! We'll have to remember that if we make it back to Maine. Thanks for watching!😋
We live just NW of San Antonio. One of our favorite camping places is Inks Lake SP. About 20 miles from there in Llano, TX is Cooper’s BBQ. Haven’t found anything that beats it so far but then I haven’t been to Snows. It did look good!
Cooper's is cat food. Theres a reason it never make the top 50 and their Katy location went of of business. Its gross.
I'm happy to know there are free drinks while waiting in line. Thanks for this review.
Glad you got your food and had an experience that will be a memory forever.
OMG! This made me soooo hungry for BBQ! Fun to watch! Thanks!
Lived all over Texas for over 64 yrs. Never heard of this place. Must only be world famous in the town that it's in.
It's been ranked in the top 2 for 8 years. Sounds like you just dont know shit about Texas BBQ.
You need to get there between 6 to 7. Or you can call ahead on Tuesday or Wednesday and order what you want and pick it up in the morning of.
thanks for visiting my hometown.
im lucky to live in the apartment literally right across the street.
my cousin carey bexley takes care of the waiting line and everyone has a great time.
come back again soon but maybe next time show up at 3 or 4 am. thats your best bet for some good burnt ends and just fall of the bone chicken.
That looks amazing! Will definitely have to go there on a future trip. Just left Maine and sampled lobster in all forms. Delicious, but agree about the journey. We enjoyed our road trip! Thanks for the recommendation!!
When your in the Austin San Antonio area’s Y’all need to try Salt lick, it’s about 30 minutes south west of Austin. It’s great!
Salt Lick is complete trash. Don't waste your time. Only Californian tourist think its good.
Snows IS the best! If you are still near Lexington be sure to stop at my cousins place, Herk’s Store & Grill. It shouldn’t be missed. Keep the great videos comin!
While watching your video, I searched out Snow's site and placed an order to be shipped. Little spendy but, hay....why not. Just finished half a rack of ribs. Great flavor. Jalapeno sausage is defrosting now. Can't wait to try it. Thanks for waiting in line to discover this place....Steve
Awesome 👏 glad to hear this! We wish we could have tried the jalapeños sausage! 😋
Your soo close to Lockhart Tx small town with 3 great BarBQ places. You could spend all year for the search for the best BarBQ in Texas. Also try Burnt Beans in Seguin Tx. Enjoy your search for the best BarBQue
I like Blacks
I agree, Lockhart is king for Texas BBQ. WE always go to Kruez’s. So good!
@@pamperez3203 No place in Lockhart even ranks in Texas' Tp 50 for a reason. Its not that good.
Great video. Please do some research and see if you need to get to the Bbq joint very early. Getting to a very popular Bbq join around the time it opens may result in no food for you. I’m glad that you were able to get some food. Get there at 6am if you can. I definitely recommend eating at Franklin BBQ in Austin. You have to get to Franklin BBQ at least a few hours before they open. If you show up at 11am you will not get any food.
The current #2 Bbq spot is Interstellar Bbq in Austin. You can get there at 10:30 am and get food without any problems. Get their peach tea glazed pork belly and jalapeño popper sausage. You won’t regret it. They also have an ice chest with free Lone Star beer for their customers. Enjoy.
Salivating here!
🤤
get there by 6:30 am
I think there is a big difference between good BBQ and great BBQ. I have been to Black’s in Lockhart , Killeen’s in Pearland , Corkscrew in Spring, Truth in Houston Which BBQ do you like best. Great BBQ is not cheap
The BEST place in the world.
😋🍖
That sounds like an interesting experience! Louie is such a precious looking little feller... 🙂
Hello Chris and Aaron, I know this is not related to this video but I was wondering if y'all were still using the Berkey water filtration? I'm thinking of getting one to help with the bleach taste in our water. Thank y'all for any feedback and for all the great videos.
Hello! 👋 Yes, we are still using the Berkley and have been loving it since the beginning of 2020. th-cam.com/video/-7-rqdGOJ3s/w-d-xo.html
www.berkeyfilters.com/pages/can-berkey-filters-remove-chlorine
Wow. The sides usually make the bbq places for me, and no sides after three hours! Holy moly. I hear you about the experience. But we will do the 8 am or noon version if we're ever there ;)
Agreed the sides are important! Snows is all about the meat! 🍖
You were 20 minutes from our homebase!! We have property in Rockdale. We built a 65 x 75 steel barn for when we go home for the holidays. We were one of those 12 o'clock people at Snow's🤭. Next time in the neighborhood let us know you are always welcome to stay.
Why the hell would they want to stay in your barn when they have an RV.
those "little" experiences when RVing are the great experiences. Sounds like a fun day, and if that meat tasted half as good as it looked, then it was worth it. Thank you. As always, safe travels......
So much fun, another future destination to my list. Great job guys.
I’m hungry, was it cash only or did they accept credit cards?
They did except CC😃
Don't overestimate what you can do in a day in Texas lol😂😂🎉
The chicken was a little salty for me but my son like it. The ribs are ok but the brisket was on Point very soft and tender.
Aaron n Chris did you guys see or watch the 2023 Ford Super Duty truck debut it was awesome 😎
Yeah I did see some of the TH-cam videos. I really like the 2023. They kept all the great super duty styling while still updating the look. 👍👍
Lots of good BBQ in Texas. Like a lot of things in life, the hype can sometimes exceed reality. But, FYI, in Texas, there is nothing called "moist brisket". lol
Yummy yummy yummy !! I bet you two must of been starving?? As always BS &BK & TC !!
BS &BK & TC !!
Is always hot here in Texas 🤣
I do the same thing. Give me bbq for breakfast over poptarts any day of the week.
Bacon and eggs for me. Maybe breakfast tacos. No 3 hour wait in line needed
Bellville Meat market in Bellville Tx
Excellent bbq and fantastic sides
It’s not focused on the experience
It’s all about the food
Brisket
Jalapeño cheddar sausage
Garlic sausage
Smoked sausage
Boudain
Brisket ribs etc
Homemade bbq sauce
Fantastic macaroni and cheese the works
Thanks for sharing!😋
Bellville Meat Market is cat food.
We are staying at that campground in Jan. How was starlink for you there?
We didn’t use our Starlink ( our Verizon worked fine) but we saw a few people with Starlink there so in think it works good 👍
@@IreneIronTravels thank you
I'm glad that y'all had fun!
3+ hours inline...
NO THANKS!
I'll get it shipped, but Not at those prices, unless meat has drastically gone up lately...
😮🤔
I enjoyed the video...

A PROUD TEXAN
I don’t think the three of you could be any more adorable if you tried! Thanks for the great info. 😊
You're the best!
How sweet - you think 80-90° in August is hot 😂 August in central Texas is usually over 100°!!
And that price -what a ripoff! All you had to do was go to Lockhart to find THREE excellent BBQ places without that kind of expense, price and time. Not to mention great sides to go along with the BBQ.
And also - I’m a native Texan and have lived in the Austin area for over 50 years. I never heard of Snow’s until the last few years. Maybe it’s famous among the Austin newbies or something, but ask anyone who’s lived here more than 5-10 years and they should be able to tell you about at least 5-10 BBQ places that will be at least as good (probably much better) without the hype.
Next time you’re on the East Coast, take a detour inland to the Pik’n’Pig BBQ restaurant in Carthage, NC. Located about an hour south of Raleigh, NC. They’re reopening later this year after a recent fire but are very well known in NC and beyond. They’re located next to a small airfield where people fly in for lunch or dinner and also have an RV park on site. Then take a day trip to downtown Southern Pines and Pinehurst to sample one of the many craft beers from local breweries. You won’t be disappointed 🙃 Safe Travels.
👍 Sounds like great place, thanks for the info!
Naaaah.......nobody gives a shit about NC BBQ.
Terry Black's in Austin is the go to Texas BBQ place. They have beef ribs they call dinosaurs ribs
Awesome sauce I love good bbq. Great experience.
What’s the name of the RV park in Columbus TX? I’d like to add it to my google list of campgrounds. Thanks
It is called Thousand trails Colorado River Campground. 😊👍
Good old Texas BBQ! Did you guys get to come in Austin?
We didn’t have time to make it Austin! 🥺 we only visited once in 2019…. We really wanted to go back!
‘City Market’ in Luling TX. ‘Old 300 BBQ’ in Blanco and Red Bud Cafe in Blanco is next door for non BBQ fans.
👍👍
All trash and dont even rank in the top 50 in Texas.
I live 30 min from Columbus...wow...wish I could have met you guys.
Ohhhhh! Yeah we were there for a few weeks. ☹️
Good morning 3 business have tried to kill me in my life so eating out really isn't a option nowadays lol but what I wanted to ask was have you ever boondock at saddle mountain in Arizona
No I don't think we've we've down Saddle Mountain. Close by at Vicksburg though.
@@IreneIronTravels you might check it out, I hate to share but last week only 1 person was camping and we are heading to the upper 80s soon in Arizona
Awesome that you made the trip, it has been on my list….
You should!
Have you tried Franklins BBQ in Austin?
We did one BBQ place in Austin in 2019 , but looking at the pics it wasn’t Franklins.
Ummm. Love high quality BBQ! You lost me a little bit when you were highlighting seafood but BBQ, that's more my style. 😋
Can't go wrong with good BBQ! 😋
you guys are great keep up with the videos
You guys have more intestinal fortitude than we do. We wouldn’t have stood in line for 3.5 hours. We could go with the plan of get there first thing. Just don’t like standing in line waiting for food.
You're going to be in line 4 hours either way. First in line and last in line is 4 hours.
Please tell me that you didn’t use a knife & fork for the ribs😮
No way! 🤣
Looks delicious!
dang, you came to austin. we could of had a carbonized grey tremor meet up😂
That would have been cool!
Cadillac BBQ in Dallas !
Is it my new eyeglasses or does Chris look particularly pretty today? You too, Aaron.
Yes she did! 👀
Looked like a delicious adventure! We like Little Pigs BBQ in the North/South Carolina.
So good! We'll remember Little Pigs next time were in the Carolinas!
Snows is great, but no where near the best in Texas. Each place is different, no one is the best. Your in Texas, its all good and much is Awesome.
6:30 or earlier
What breed of dog is Louie
He is a Basenji 😊
Goldee's is the best BBQ in Texas. :)
GOOD TUTORIAL ON EVERYTHING "NOT" TO DO TO GET FAMOUS BBQ!! UH, YOU'RE NOT THE TYPE OF PEOPLE TO WAIT IN LINE FOR THE NEWEST I-PHONE, ARE YOU?? IF YOU ARE, DID YOU GET THERE LONG BEFORE THE APPLE STORE OPENED, OR DID YOU GET THERE AFTER IT OPENED?? IF YOU LOOK AT ANY OF THE OTHER VIDEOS POSTED AT THIS, OR OTHER FAMOUS TEXAS BBQ'S, THEY USUALLY START LINING UP BEFORE SUN UP!! OH WELL, I GUESS YOU ENJOYED YOURSELVES DURING YOUR WAIT!! AND THEY DID STILL HAVE SOME GOOD STUFF LEFT TO TRY, SO I GUESS YOU DID "OKAY". CHAS ORVIS, PLAINVILLE, CT. PS : IF YOU DECIDE TO GO BACK TO SNOW'S SOMETIME ( maybe you should do Snow's one day, and Black's the next day, in the interest of fair and balanced journalism!! ) DO YOU THINK YOU'LL GO EARLIER??
Don't overestimate what
Never heard of Lexington TX..LOL
I live there and go to school with someone who is the grand child of the owner.
Inman's BBQ in Llano. Texas
LOL...no.
*Newly Updated Safety Suggestions;
I just happened to see your channel, and others similar channels recently, and I think that you, and others sharing their actual reality, and some have expressed some of the up, and down sides to van, RV, or vehicle living.
Although, I just noticed your TH-cam channel, and other similar channels, displaying van living.
I just wanted to remind everyone to Aware Be of your surroundings and Alert, I just posted this anyway to help anyone who may benefit from these suggestions
I believe that it is very helpful, and beneficial to others who may be thinking about this type of living without actually thinking through, about the some of the realistic problems that could occur with vehicle or van living etc...
People need to know what up sides there are, as well as some of the down sides of vehicle living.
I believe this channel, and other channels have been informative to others, including myself.
Although, I am NOT living in a vehicle or anything like this.
I feel that you , and others TH-camrs sharing this with your viewers will be very helpful.
I wish you ALL the Best with your traveling endeavors.
I shared this with several other travelers, as I watched their TH-cam channel for the first time, as yours, and I shared with them this information that may be helpful to you as well to others.
Therefore, I would also like to suggest a few Safety tips, and items that may help you, or others in your viewing audience.
Although, you may have knowledge of this already,
I am not sure, so I hope this will be helpful to you, others or someone.
*Keep a Extra working cellphone with you or in your vehicle.
You can purchase inexpensive phone with a very low monthly price between 25, 35, 45, dollars a month with unlimited data and text, and some have Nationwide coverage
Do your research for the best fit for you
Carry Several Extra portable phone chargers, and cables.
Consider theses items:
*Mini portable power charging station.
I have also seen outdoor portable solar powered power stations, that can be recharged from sunlight this may be very useful to have, to power your devices.
*Invest in a Cellular signal booster for outdoor use, and camping situations to boost or amplify your cell signal and reception.
Consider also the purchase of a WiFi signal booster to also boost your WiFi signal.
Research to see what you prefer.
*Very Inportant:
Invest in a SOS distress electronic signal device, this a kind of device can send out a distress signal with your exact location.
There are various types of these devices, and including devices that can be used when boating, or camping situations.
*Some have emergency Strobe lights SOS signaling with location alerts, and location updates that can be sent to your family, and emergency first responders.
Some can be synchronized with your smart watch or phone.
There are some satellite SOS texting messaging, locator devices that will send messages with your phone even if there isn’t any cellular signal, or WiFi. With this device your can still text, and communicate with others in a emergency satellite transmission.
Check online, for various emergency SOS products, some are small to fit in the palm of your hand.
You can check online, and on Amazon, research what SOS devices will be a good fit for you.
*Mini portable vehicle battery jumper charger
*vehicle battery jumper cables
*Vehicle Jumper cables
*Keep a Fire extinguisher handy
Smoke detectors and Carbon monoxide detectors can be helpful
*Mounted Dashboard camera front and rear possibly.
Exterior vehicle cameras
Interior vehicle cameras
*Flashlights or pluggin spotlights
*Portable spotlights, and lanterns
Keep a few whistles around with you, and in your vehicle possibly in your vehicle’s center console
*A set of long range 2 way radios, walkie talkies, to communicate with others during trips, some have 100 mile radius keep for emergencies.
Use your own discretion regarding the use of any weapons.
Don’t forget to bring
Bear Spray
Pepper spray
Where is allowed
If you own a drone you can use it to survey your area for animals etc.
However, Please Be Safe and Beware of your Surroundings.
Stay Alert, and Be Safe even when stopping at Rest stops, Truck Stops, and conducting your various tasks.
Keep in often contact with your family, friends etc.
Keep up with the latest Weather Updates, beware and prepare for unexpected Weather events and conditions.
Keep your vehicle gas filled
Don’t chance your Safety by running your vehicle fuel or gas too close to Empty.
Fill it up anyway, it will save you alot of time, and headache later on.
Remember to keep up on routine maintenance, check your tires for wear, keep up with your fluids for your vehicle, like oil levels, washer fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze.
Remember Because you are on the road riding for sometimes very long distances, and long periods of time, I would suggest investing in 2 sets of tires, and a spare, the extra set to rotate.
Check the mileage ratings on your tires they all very.
Conduct visual inspections of your tires often, check for damage, wearing, air pressure, etc
Keep a pressure gauge to check your tires pressure and a tire pump.
Keep towing insurance to Be Safe if you ever need it.
It Doesn’t cost much try to get National coverage if available, or where you will be traveling.
Keep Extra financing, and savings for any unexpected issues, vehicle repairs, and overnight stays, in a emergency or if you need to rest indoors.
Keep Enjoying Yourself,
Keep Enjoying the outdoors, and Nature
Just..Please continue to
Be Positive, Safe, and Alert..
Wishing Success, Well-being and Happiness You All.
God Bless You, and everyone

Did Louie like the BBQ, lol.
He only got sniffs! 🤣
I waited once for 90 mins to get a table at............................ drum roll please! Olive Garden. Yes I am old enough now to admit how stupid that was.
🤣 that’s funny Pedro! We are at Olive Garden a lot as kids!
Want good bbq Lockhart
if yall want to try a better bbq place in lexington got to pops lickin and smackin bbq
Over 3 hours in line and $78 for BBQ?
The pork ribs and shoulder steak are way overpriced. You can get them for $2/lb and smoke them in 4 hours.
Stop driving in the left lane, get tf over if your not passing
No barbecue in the world work that kind of way good luck
Blacks BBQ is better in my opinion. Been to Snows, and they are expensive to me for what you get. You paid $70 for roughly 3 lbs of meat? Nope. Not me.
looks like you 2 are the always late people...
Too much filler until you get to the BBQ
If you can say the word “pen” you can say jalapeño. Using the word “pee” to pronounce jalapeño, not so good
I would never eat BBQ for breakfast. Now raw clams, lobster, and hot dogs are a different deal.
I do not care for Brisket at all. When I eat BBQ it is always baby back or st. louis syyle pork ribs, and or pulled pork. Keep your Brisket, for me it is all about the ribs and the pulled pork. My favorite are baby back ribs with some vinegar based bbq sauce cooked into them over charcoal or wood, until you get those little blackened areas on the edges of the ribs.
And I am not standing in line for 3.5 hours to get some BBQ, I would have walked away after 30 minutes. Prices are way too high for me too, I go to a place near me called Smokin Notes BBQ, they have the best ribs, falling off the bone tender and the taste is amazing. They have a half slab of ribs, with 2 sides for about $19.00, with tax.
And if you get fries as one or both sides, they are the best fries I have ever had, hand cut with some skin left on, and the BBQ sauce they have is awesome. They also give you so many fries you can not eat them all in one sitting. I usually re-heat half of them with some ribs in the air fryer later that night, or the next day, and there is no wait at all, you just call it in and go pick it up and take it home. That almost 4 hour wait to pay $80 for some ribs and Brisket is for the birds.
And the worst part is it is in Texas, the worst state in America now as far as political agenda by the radical Republicans, they are the worst, and I would not step one foot in Texas, or Florida, if you paid me.
i am here for IRENE .. why is that scary looking dude talking .. i have to stop watching ...
Goldee's is the #1 BBQ in Texas
I was thinking about making a trip to snow but that small amount of bbq 68 70 bucks f that they are jacking up the prices ..3 hour wait.. naw ripping off people no thanks
I’m a foodie traveler and love this !! Would have loaded up a little bit more though 😅
Yeah, these people dont know what they're doing. You have to get to Snows by 6AM and bring chairs. They showed up at line 9 and empty handed.
Well that was a nail biter! (Which may not be a bad thing cuz I’m sure you were hungry!) Did you ever make it to any of the other ambitiously planned destinations? (Maybe not as it was raining.)
No we didnt make it to Austin ! But next weeks video is San Antonio!😊
