    Cool, this is awesome! I'm thinking of building an end-table that also works as a display case for a large boxed toy. This gave me a very good idea of how to do it now. Thank you for sharing your technique!

      Thank you so much D. Unfortunately, because it is plastic, you can get a lot of scratches and it is not a snug fit of the cover on to the base so it does have its pros and cons :) I really appreciate your kind comment!

    Hi-I am trying to make an acrylic doll case like the one I see in your video with the Asian dolls in it. Do you have a video on how to make it. Is it acrylic pieces with washi tape? I have Asian dolls in a case, but the case broke. I can't find one already made with the correct dimension.

    • @EliseWongCreations
      @EliseWongCreations  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there. sorry for the late reply. I would probably do the same thing I did with this one. Acrylic sheets and plastic cement. But I dont recommend these on a lovely work of art. I usually use these as a backup to keep the dust away until I take it to a proper glass and frame to do a good quality one.

      Hey there Lorena. So when I did this, I went to my local craft store that sold a lot of crafts but over the years, they have been focusing on soap and candle making so they dont sell acrylic sheets anymore. Another art store I know that sells them is Art friend ( artfriendonline.com/EN/OnlineUsers/Index ) but i have never used their online site. I am usually a walk in customer. I recommend you search online Acrylic Sheets cause it's better suited to where you're at.

    What glue to u prefer to use on ur display cases?

    • @EliseWongCreations
      @EliseWongCreations  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Amanda, I use plastic adhesive or acrylic glue. It melts the plastic as soon as you apply it so it will fuse the plastic sheets together (kinda like welding) but you have to be careful with it, if you put too much and it overflows to a place you don't want it to be, you cannot undo the process.

      I used a plastic adhesive made by my local craft store, Craftiviti so it's not a known brand internationally or even locally. You can try super glue or Tamiya Cement although I have never tried those so use with caution. Good luck with your project.

      I am from Malaysia. Its been a long while since I bought one from daiso. I got mine for like maybe MYR5-15 (about USD1.50-4.00)depending on size? If you're from malaysia, you can also check out Artfriend at mid Valley. I got my supplies from Craftiviti but I am not sure if they're selling those anymore, they have moved towards soap and candle making. But I'm sure you can also buy the supplies from Artfriend
