These cases look really nice but the number one issue I have with them is they are not fully enclosed in the front which means they'll allow dust in. My entire collection is housed in cases & cabinets that keep my statues totally dust-free which is a top priority for me.

The price for those displays are super expensive and they are still standard size. Price will definitely put people off! Maybe consider a small light box with no turntable!

Superb cases. It's more for the non-handyman people. Because with 650$us, you can get enough materials to build a whole 20ft wall display with lightning and acrylic sliding doors. I'm not bashing on the project, great design and engineering, it's just too steep of a price for the size and quantity. Keep up the good work.
I know how these are made because I do similar work. The material is fairly expensive and especially tricky to find right now since everyone is making guards to protect their staff from the public. And dimensional tolerances have to be pretty tight (probably +/-.005") to ensure a good fit between mating pieces. Plus the lighting. $475 is about right. They could probably use 3/8" stock instead of 1/2" to cut costs but 1/2" looks a bit nicer.
If I ordered a custom acrylic build for the standard dimensions of 30" × 25" x 25" from my local shop it's about $250 with labor. Two custom lightboxes would cost me about $300. That means it would cost me $550 if I did my own case. Legendary is charging $525 and it isn't a bad price considering what you get.

I didnt see your mention it but does this display comes with the front clear panel to make it enclosed and avoid dust??? I see a big opening spaces in the middle from the ones on videos. And another question is how much weight can these hold? The base seems to be acrylic panel and have to be hollow to fit LEDs in. Some statue is extremely heavy.

The cabinets are open at the front so they will collect dust - epic fail. The only reason people buy cabinets is to stop dust getting all over the staues.

More options for collectors is always a good thing. There are some positives here but I'm not sure I'm a fan of the lighting. Florescent lights have a sort of unnatural look to them. Plus it looks almost too bright in your video. I prefer the LED lights in maybe a soft white.
I like this display. The rotating base makes it easy to show off your piece. Also probably helps when it comes time for dusting. Lighting is another big plus. And it presents very well. Looking forward to see them in person

I think these are very nice. It is bad timing with new nonessential products however, with the current economic situation and global pandemic of course. But give it some time and these should take off.
I own the Terry Bogard Kinetiquettes piece and plan on getting the Geese Howard pieces as well. I'm not sure if one of these will be big enough to handle the whole display, but color me interested.
They're nice it makes the collectibles stand out especially when they're clearer to see every detail of these statues which is nice. The Star Wars statues look the part with all the white lighting as if the statues are in a scene in a space ship from either of the movies with all that lighting which gives life to the statues. The turn tables works well too.
Great cases. One improvement I could see being made to these would be to use an Acrylic cement called SC125, instead of the screws. There's a learning curve to gluing it together so that it looks nice but once it's learned it looks great and it's stronger than screws because it melts the pieces together.
Maybe one or two for my favorite statues I keep in my living room. But for my statue room we'd be looking at spending thousands and I like that I've built my own displays and cabinet's.
I started building my modulate display but still interested in this. However, there are a lot of questions to be answered: front panels? Max weight? This last one might be a problem because I can’t see clear acrylic carry the weight of the heavier statues. Fixtures for stacking them? How many can you stack? Again, weight problem when stacking. It’s a cool concept but a lot of technical details need to be cleared up before I could consider investing.

I buy a set now and 2 years later I want to add to it and I have to get these second hand or is there a shop that will be created? This is a good idea but bad execution and bad timing right now in my opinion.

NYC D well Tombo doors were produced for years and most likely in the hundred thousands. So you CAN get them for a very long time. Also due to the amount made you can even get them second hand and for pretty cheap overall. The criticism comes from the greater sayin in his video “you create a shelf and then you get a New statue and it doesn’t fit” it’s the EXACT same thing with his own product but there’s the added factor of post Kickstarter not only can the product not live up to expectation but what you have is it and with a modular design you won’t be able to ADD to it. This is business indeed
Badass...I like it'd a plug and play setup. I don't want to spend the time customizing display cases. These are well lit which is a common problem I hear when customizing ..using the right amount of lights and in the right position and brightness is taken care of. I appreciate this being available.

Do these come pre assembled or do you have to put them together? I am not the handiest person with a hammer and a screwdriver.
you assemble..takes about 30 minutes...just need a rubber mallet and a screwdriver. My wife put these together lol
@Iron Maiden - they’re very easy to put together. You just need a second person to help put in in place. They are heavy but not difficult at all.
