Amazing Sunset Colors with the Moon, Jupiter and Venus from Dunedin Causeway

  • Sometimes you get amazing colors after sunset and this was one of those times. Check out the red and yellows forming on the right of the frame after the sun goes down. The Moon, Jupiter, and extra bright Venus pop out as it gets darker and then march towards the Gulf of Mexico. The thin Moon is about 2% illuminated and 1.3 days old. At the very end of the sequence you can see the teapot handle and other stars in Sagittarius popping out. The Planet Saturn is the brightest object on the upper left at the end.     Technical Info: This time-lapse video is sourced from a Nikon D750 and an old Nikon 28mm f2.8 AIS lens wide open at ISO 100 & 387 individual images. I used the LRTimelapse "Holy Grail" workflow to create and render the video. The 28mm manual focus lens vignettes quite a bit and that was corrected in Lightroom as part of the workflow.
