Just me playing some Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 for the PSX. I'm not using Career Mode, just a Free Skate and messing around. Used to love this game back in the day. I'd play it non-stop after school.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, released as Tony Hawk's Skateboarding in Europe and Australia, is a skateboarding video game. It is the first entry in the Tony Hawk series of video games. It was originally released for the PlayStation on September 30, 1999 and was later ported to the Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, and N-Gage. It also received a Game Boy Color adaptation. When released for the Nintendo 64 it was rated E for everyone because they cut out the blood for "family" reasons.

Idk, game still looks pretty good to me. It's only the very early Ps1 games that look really aged.
I love those graphics haha, sure it looked better back in the day but this is so classic! Gotta play this again :D

Everyone says this, but I always liked New Girl (the song playing in the video) the best. I'm surprised that's not a more shared experience, especially considering it's the first song you hear when you play the game. Superman is good too, but it also doesn't fit the gameplay as well as New Girl.

yeah the Tony Hawk games changed my life forever thanks to Pizza Hut for the demo disc that's how I got into all of Tony Hawk games growing up and its still part of my life thanks to Neversoft for the childhood memories.

@@THEQueeferSutherland no they're not rose tinted glasses. These truly were the best days of our lives. We only have the first 16 years or so to really enjoy our life then we just have to work and not enjoy it till we die. Yup. That's what life is. Pretty fucked if you ask me.

My neighbor’s dog got out. Their gate was broken. I corralled the dog back into the yard and stood guard to make sure she didn’t escape. My neighbor bought me this game as a reward. I was 9. Same man went on to commit suicide. RIP Brett and thank you for the memories I had with this game.

Used to cut school to play this in 9th grade. Started me down a bad path and I never really caught myself. Tony hawk you owe me a life!!

I remember these summer with my friends playing this on the garage and going to the skatepark with a radiocasette playing goldfinger and all the music of the game, trying to do some tricks and eating the ground so much... best summer ever!! =D
Pure best childhood. Me and my oldest sister would play this right after watching wwf attitude era. Even sometimes we put our money together to order pizza or buying Cheetos. Good ol times.

they did remake it. it was download only and by the same developers as THPS5. it was better than 5 but not great. 5 failed because it was rushed and released completely unfinished since they lost the license in 2015(?) and whatnot.

I ADORED this game as a kid. I didn't like it much when my older brother played it, but when he lost interest I was glued to it. I eventually got good enough to beat my brother's high scores! :)
2019 and I still miss this game. More great memories with friends attached to the Tony Hawk series than any other game.
I hope they keep the replays in the remastered one, my siblings and I, loved purposely mess up and replay it. 🤣

Dude i remember being like 4 years old playing this game at my friend Adrian's house the night my sister was born, my parents left me there and I remember playing this on the n64 with the blue cartridge all night then going to the hospital in the morning after she was born, dang this is like one of the oldest things i can remember so vividly.

I'll never forget when this came out, and my parents bought it for me, and I put it into my N64 for the first time. Man, that was sweet. I love this game.

mikepentop Just get a non widescreen small lcd monitor, a Dreamcast+VGA cable, then burn THPS1+2. PS2 for 3 and after.

I remember mid to late 90s playing this game...my uncle bought a ps magazine and it had a disc with demos and this was on it...I was so good at all the tricks I used to rack up bare points need to play this again alongside jet set radio future on xbox and playstations small soldiers game
