Made the Social Distanced Hugs quilt today - in self-isolation because evidently I didn't distance enough from my teen who got COViD, likely at work. Oh, well, was a fun way to spend the day with dinosaurs. Thanks for making the tough easy - I learned to quilt by watching your videos and have made more than 40 various quilts for Victoria's Quilts, and nearly the same for friends and family (many of yours!) since I started in 2019. I'm addicted - to quilting and to your videos. Cheers!
My Grandma always signed her cards to me with xoxo!! I’m doing my best to keep it going, using it as part of my sign off!! Thanks, Jenny, for bring back a special memory. xoxo :D
Beautiful ladies making beautiful quilts. And Misty's is just in time to make for Valentine's Day. Thank you for another fabulous triple play, Doan women!! :-D ~Diana K.
Ok ladies you each made beautiful quilts. Natalie’s reminds me of summer and cotton candy. Come on, red and white hearts and x’s - beautiful. And Jenny I love the comfy feel of yours. Love, love, love them!!!! XOXO
All three are such great patterns! But Missy's tip to sew the second seam on the half squares to make the most use of the leftover fabric was the icing on the cake! LOVE that idea! Thanks you, ladies for keeping me inspired!
One more quilt and I will have made one for everyone in the immediate family. I've been struggling to decide on a pattern....then I saw Jenny's quilt today. The name is very appropriate because of the recipient's job, where she has had to be very mindful of social distancing to keep herself and her family safe. Thanks Missouri Star for another winner in my book. (P.S. Just finished your "Happy Hearts" for a Christmas gift. I added an extra border with mini-hearts, made the same as in the quilt, as corner blocks. I have made so many of your designs. I just love them.)
That was so fun! Misty’s table runner looked like origami boats we use to fold in church 😁. Natalie’s quilt made me think of strawberry ice cream. Love all three. 🍓
All 3 of these quilts are beautiful. I made your original X's & O's quilt for my daughter's twin bed 😁. I have been looking for a Valentine's day quilt project for my husband...for our queen bed. Now I love that fact that you guys are always giving me reasons to buy more fabric lol 🤣🤣🤣. I tell him it's for a new quilt haha. Beautiful job you guys as always....God bless and stay safe.
This Triple play was so fun, Love that You each used different fabrics to create 3 different looking quilts that are super easy to make. My favorite of the 3 right now is Misty's quilt. We have a new Baby in the Family so I have it on my heart to make a baby quilt, the Hearts, hugs/kisses pattern fits the occasion perfectly. The nice thing about these charm pack projects is I could do all of them very easily which eliminates having to choose just 1 & I love that. You ladies are Killin it with these awesome tutorials :) Thank You so much
These are all so awesome. Jenny, your quilt is like a hug being squished in by surrounding squares but a snuggly, happy hug! Misty's is so ready for Valentine's day and so sweet hearts and kisses! Natalie's quilt is a challenge, but y'all made it appear doable and I'm gonna do it! Something about how one circle merges into the next, and those colors, wow! Can't decide whether to wear it or eat it!😄 Thanks, ladies, y'all make us feel great and "included", so important these days.😚😚😚
Three beautiful ladies making three great quilts. What a joy to watch and learn from you. Triple Play fun again. Thanks for all of the hugs and kisses.
Thank all three of you for making our Friday happy. It is best of all to hear you share thoughts on sewing techniques and ideas on how a slight change would make such a difference which we wouldn't hear if there was only one of you. I may be 76 but I still learned a few new ideas here just listening to you.
When I lament that something I have sewn isn't quite right, my mum always says 'Well, a blind man would be pleased to see it!' However, she is always super critical of her own projects. We are just too hard on ourselves! Laura in England
The letter of the day is 'F'. Fantastic Friday Fun with Family and Friends. You ladies aced it again. My Friday's always start with you and I thank you all so much for being out there for us. It helps so much during these times. Sending hugs and kisses and all the rainbows that are waiting for us in 2021.
I really like that the sashing is part of the block and that it has been sized so that you don't have to match it up to the other parts. Makes the construction so much easier.
Three beautiful quilts (actually four with Jenny's original one) by three beautiful ladies. Thank you all for showing us your quilts and how to make them.
