    Clearly, specs and looks-wise, this is the best all rounder on the market -- light, powerful and low maintenance. I have the City Pro 2023 and a lightweight runaround by Evercross (my first) but the City Pro is not as versatile as far as body weight/maneuverability. This will be their biggest seller ever because it's right in the sweet spot...Well done Apollo. My friend's just arrived...say goodbye to Uber

    Can you get in a bus or the subway with it?
    I’d like to see that done in a video, not just saying it.
    Thanks in advance.
    Question: Does the upper latch that is kept in place by magnets, could be a hazard to the rider in a crash since it is a sharp metal object?

    • @RIDEGLIDE

      We will give it a go! Not sure on the latch, its completely flush when riding so seems to be safe! 😀😀

      @@RIDEGLIDE
      Thank you!
      Yes the latch sits flush but it could open in a crash, potentially hurting the rider.
      I’m not sure if Apollo tested this scenario.
      This is the only major design flaw I see besides the choice of 9” tires.

    • @appearoffline

      @@alexp9379 Yep! Bigger and thicker wheels would've been better for stability, road imperfections and speed bumps.

  • @alexp9379

    This Go has a pretty good ground clearance of 5.8” (148mm).
    So I was wondering if it can roll down stairs without hitting the deck.
    Can you please test it for that and if it’s in the video review much better.
    Thanks in advance.

    Also the range is too small for long distances. However this scooter is brilliant for going to your local shop or medium distances (2-3 miles max).

      Definitely going to be in the commuter bracket 👍👍

    • @chaxologist2961

      How do you know that?
      It is actually tested to go up to 18 miles on full sport mode!
      If driven in comfort mode at same speeds as the old Ninebot Max, it would have similar range!
      Its a short to mid range commuter.

    What's the point of buying one when the police are taking them off riders? They aren't legal here in Britain, only those provided by the councils and you can get points on your driving licence for no insurance.

    • @RIDEGLIDE

    It would been much better if it's swappable batteries.

    • @RIDEGLIDE

      Agreed. But, added functionality like that will take away from the simplistic design and likely push the price up. These are designed for short journeys and portability 👍

      @RIDEGLIDE Apollo scooter are some of the best scooter 👌 reliable and customer service is top notch 👌. I might get this one used it for commute currently I'm using Mercane MX60 it's a swappable batteries top speed between 43 to 45mph. I'm comparing this to Turboant V8 is also a swappable batteries.

    • @zztop7000

    • @zztop7000

      My Mercane MX60 dual motor is too powerful for commute I'm planning getting a second scooter for daily commute to work save me some expensive gas car repairs. This one or Turboant TURBOANT is planning a dual motor swappable batteries their most powerful scootes this year I'm just have to wait a little longer.

    • @chaxologist2961

      Swappable batteries will only compromise the structural integrity and defeat the purpose of the scooter being as maintenance-free and robust as possible. Not to mention, it will be easier for thieves to steal the battery if the scooter is locked up!
