Even the Air has 10” wheels, though it is one inch longer than the Go. That extra inch wouldn’t make much of a difference in portability, as it would still have to be carried in the back seat of my car. Ride smoothness is very important and the Go has room for improvement there.
i really appreciate the fact that you take pride in the quality and beautiful design of your scooters. Your thoughtfulness in the smallest details iare simply unmatched. I own the apollo explore (my very first scooter) and wished apollo had a trade-in program because i would buy this scooter in a heartbeat!
The best addition to your unboxing is the comprehensive tool kit you get with the scooter. I wish you made one for each of your scooters say like my City Pro 2023
Really hope you'll c̶o̶p̶y̶ adopt the design philosophy of the Niu scooters. The turn signal light for instance, your light shows on the side and vulnerable to breaking when tipped over whereas the Niu lights are front and back with a rubber end cap to cushion the fall, this makes more sense because light is for drivers behind or in front of you. The stem lock on the Niu is a 2 step process and doesn't require the silicone strap which is more elegant and secure. The stem latch and release to the board plate is also better, more secure and easier to release. They also have puncture proof tires, they even have a light weight carbon fiber version that's the lightest on the market but not as powerful. I think if you consider adopting those design upgrades, it would be a great improvement.
Love it Eloi but not as much as the Synth Pop tunes, takes me straight back to my youth in the 80's! I suspect Luke from EK in Melbourne will be hearing from me real soon for a pre order
The over/under betting number, is 9. On how many changes/upgrades that Apollo will make to the next (final production) Apollo Go, before this original Apollo Go is even in most scooter owners hands? My bet is on the over. I would really like to buy and ride this Apollo Go, but I just don't have it in me to be made to feel like such a sucker; for buying the first generation (aka...V3, final production model) of the Apollo Go. I must admit though, if the price of this Apollo Go was closer to 1K, I would probably pull the trigger on one, and let the scooter gods determine whether of not I was going to end up feeling like such a sucker in the end.
This looks like well refined, general purpose scooter. Good job guys. Please add a peak power limiter and a power-cruise driving mode and it'll be perfect. In these modes the motor won't pull more than a user-set power level (i.e. 300 watts peak limit) or in Power-Cruise mode, user set a fixed power (i.e. 200 watts) producing a variable speed, but steady demand on the battery. This is the most energy efficient way when range and battery longevity is a priority. I'm surprised no scooter AFAIK have these modes. It is a simple yet useful firmware based (controller) feature , just like the regular cruise control or the speed limiter, but more efficient than the existing "Economy" drive modes.
I'm not sure why this is surprising to you. I don't think cars have this kind of option either to use peak gas. Apollo Scooters have the ability to limit top speed in each mode. I suspect each mode also limits the amount of maximum power it will use. If you are on ECO mode, it simply won't climb hills as good as in Comfort or Sports mode.
Can we get a comparison between the go and city? I live in NYC (2 floor walk up) and have been leaning more towards the go but the city’s extra battery seems helpful despite the weight
Ehhhh, I have a City Pro, then I wanted something smaller to replace my unagi so I ordered this, and because I have no impulse control, I also order an Apollo Pro... now I'll have a scooter for myself and 2 more friends, :D

Features: • Smaller and detachable (quick swap) batteries to increase portability and maximize range • Interchangeable wheel sizes (10-12 inches) • Foldable handlebars • Interchangeable throttle-twist or finger style • Kick Assist mode - Users can engage the scooter's motor by using it like a non-electric scooter - the electric motor will output power based on the force and frequency of the user's kicks, allowing the scooter's wheels to keep rolling when pushed manually for a much longer time than it would with a regular non-assisted kick. This mode would be a welcomed addition in places where e-scooters are illegal because it rewards the user for using it like a regular manual kick-scooter • Centre stand • Remain 20kg or less! 👋 Bye!

What you don’t see in this video is that this is already the V4 aka the final version. No changes for at least 2 years!
