    Which flavor of mini quiche will you make first - bacon, bell pepper, or mushroom?

    I just made 60 quishes today with 3 flavors: Bacon, red roasted pepper and cheddar, Spinach and feta (with dill and carmelized onion), and goat cheese and caremelized onion. They came out delicious! I'm going to freeze them for a party I'm hosting. Yum!

      I know your reply is a year ago… Just wondering how well they froze and reheated. These would be great for easy breakfast

    • @RNMimi
      @RNMimi ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@petejano5043 They were delicious and were devoured fairly quickly but I do think the texture was definitely better before I froze them. Instead, I would suggest applying the pie dough pieces to each mini muffin well and freeze them. The night before serving, prepare the filling ingredients so that they are ready to add. On the day of your party, remove the mini-muffin trays containing the frozen dough, add your filllings and egg mixture, then bake. If you aren't making a large amount, and you have the time you could certainly do this the day of serving but it can be time consuming!

    Did this piece crust come frozen and you just take it out of the freezer for a bit before you cut it?

    I like the idea of making them small so that each guest has their own and not having to cut them into little pieces. I have also seen that they add milk cream to the egg mixture and the filling becomes creamier. I'm going to do it and I'll tell you! Thank you! By the way, it helps me learn English!
