It was a bad mistake replacing Pete Duel with Roger Davis! No reflection on Roger, but after 'Smiler with a gun' ? Heyes and Curry were cousins, they could have changed the show's direction and bring in another family member?
The creator wanted to end the show after Pete's death but the TV execs threatened to sue him so he was forced to do it. That show could've went on for years..RIP Pete.
