"Robbed from the rich, and kept the money for themselves"🤣🤣 That never gets old😁!!. When I was little had such a crush on both of them, which was the only reason I watched in the late 70's. Now I watch for the shows and laugh, never knew how funny it was. Still have a big crush on both!! RIP🙏 Peter Duel. I didnt know how beautiful u were in the inside, too!😪❤❤
I was brought up watching western series and this one was the best of them all; I loved the characters The theme music which I still have the original 45 rpm in mint condition, it died when Pete dual died Could not take to it when roger Davis took over, some may not know this but roger Davis did the voice Over at the start of the programme he even appeared in episode when Pete dual and Ben Murphy was The originals great memories I cannot believe it’s 50 years ago wow where has that time gone
@@WalterDWormack214 correct but roger Davis who took over when Pete duel sadly died but it was never the same hence why the series came to an end R.I.P. Pete
Surprised that there are not more comments about Pete Duel. Can't think of an actor who ever made a greater impression on me as a kid. Suicide at age 31.
So enjoyed this AS&J tribute Pete Duel and Ben Murphy certainly had a great chemstry in playing these koveable outlaws it was always a great show to watch good memories
Thank you for making this and posting. I love watching these videos and seeing how many people still love this show! Very glad to see yours only made quite recently.
Very well done. Hard to believe it has been 50 years. I must admit, I have never seen the episodes with Roger Davis. I could not bring myself to watch them. Hannibal Heyes was Pete Duel, not Roger Davis. I mean no disrespect to Mr. Davis. It’s just the way it is. It was a wonderful show.
Thank you, Linda. The Roger Davis episodes were first hard to watch. I kept comparing them. It had to grow on me but there are some great episodes so I accept them now and learned to like them.
@@t.vanmildert8409 my husband watched all of them he really enjoyed Roger Davis episode more . He liked their chemistry better. But he loved them as much as I have since they first aired😪💜
It' s always awesome to watch this very beautiful Westernseries. And also it' s so sad by watching that Pete is dead since 49 Years. Unbelievable. Rest in Peace, dearest Pete. When I was sad and unhappy, because somethings happened bad, ( no job, therefore no money, suddenly Alone, etca.) I watched this series often a day, for a des days, I get strength, and hope and begun to fight back into a normaly good live. They' re ( special Pete) are like medicine for the soul and psych. Thank you, my dearest Pete. And also helped the positive message of Alias Smith & Jones: be good and you' ll get help and a good life. Not like other Westernseries -and movies: Kill/shoot as good als you can..... .
Having watched the series and followed it all these years, I enjoyed watching this video...but have to admit I did NOT like hearing Roger Davis repeat the opening credit monologue 3-4 times throughout. Also--I was one who preferred the Kid over Heyes in personality...and would have liked to have seen more video clips of the Kid drawing his gun...his trademark / signature personality persona. Other videos match our boys with popular country songs...please do something like that next time. Happy anniversary, to both our outlaw heroes!
I added the opening dialogue a few times because it's from the first and second season and there is some differences in the text. In the 2and season Pete says "That's a good deal" which is not said in the 1st season. Also in several episodes they are called 'latterday Robin Hood' and in others 'Kansas cousins'. Since it was my intention to make a tribute video for all the seasons and episodes, I used all the different intros and music theme music and picked the best vidcaps from all the 50 episodes which fitted in the timeframe of the music.

The Guy who played Hannibal Hayes, was named Pete 'Duel'!

Nice to see others remembered a great, but short series. Thanks for making this!
It's great to see so many people remembering AS&J even after 50 years+👍🌹
So awesome and well done. Thank you so much. We love and miss you Pete.
Great video and lovely dedication to this great series Thank-you.

Thank you so much for this😍😘💜
Best Western ever ❤
Love this!
Sometimes you just have to leave!!!
its upsetting this series came to such an untimely close, it wasn't the same without Pete Dule but I didn't think Roger Davies was bad either
