Just went yesterday and this ride was amazing. I hadn’t gone in like 8 years and it was truly breathtaking. Not just space mountain but the entire park. The best video I've ever seen of space mountain! The original music, the fact you can see each and every star in the ride and it flows so smoothly in 60 fps! Amazing!
I just got back from a trip last week to this. My first time back in 14 years and I almost cried by how they brought back the original sound and added way more stars. Truly incredible how they were able to do this ride justice during the pandemic.

I talked to one of the cast members and showed them a old video of what the light tunnel is suppose to look like and they were aware of it. They also said the light tunnel always has issues. Hopefully they get it fixed soon!
The light tunnel only seemed to get this way after they had them turned off for the longest time when Space Mountain became Hyperspace Mountain for like a year or so. After that the lights were never the same :( Hopefully they will fix them soon
I rode this for the first time last weekend and I couldn't believe how much better it was than the Disney World version! Much better theming and the ride even seemed longer. The on-ride score by Michael Giacchino adds so much to the experience.
