This is better than Bill Gates’ watch - because it’s blue

MDV106B-2AV aka the Casio Duro Marlin, a 100 dollar waterproof beater that will last forever. Bill gates wears the black version of this watch. That doesn’t make it cool. But this is a watch you can wear and not care about. It just looks better the more bashed up it gets. Shame about the small hands.

I own all the Marlin different colours dial .. that's just one I can't find ... the white dial !!

found these on sale at walmart for $10 each. ended up picking up every color. very happy to start doing some mods and band swaps to make each a unique look

Most rich people when they want to connect with mainstream citizens wear a cheap watch then go home and toss on their good watches. I am trying to think of a famous politician that wore a Timex when giving speeches then went back stage and tossed back on his Rolex.

Yeah, you can I had some with quality control issues, but 8 out of 10 are good.

I have one I put it on a metal jubilee bracelet I found on Amazon to wear to work everyday building custom cabinetry and I haven't managed to scratch the crystal or break it yet it's getting a little beat up scratches on the case stuff like that and the bezel but it's a work watch

this is probably a 'don't care if I lose it, scratch it' watch for that very small number of people who dive or wear a watch in the shower(??!! why). Or perhaps as an attempt to be/look cool. May I be so bold as to remind people that an even cheaper beater, possibly even cooler watch is the F91W. Yes, the backlight is a joke, but the Duro doesn't exactly glow in the dark. The F91W is probably more durable than the Duro.
I notice you didn't even bother to take the watch off the box cushion.
Each to their own preference of course.
