- In this video, I connect the new L Series remote camera to my existing system. I show step by step how to do this and we will go over some great features/improvements of these new cameras.
If you are a new Cuddeback Cuddelink user, I encourage you to watch my full set-up video for a clear understanding of the system.

That was interesting and informative. For anyone wondering about a remote camera, this video may help them decide if that’s the right one for them.
Ok thank you for your reply. I am waiting to use for security system so quick notice would be nice
Happy Birthday.
Thank you! Happy birthday to you!
I bought the Cuddelink system with the J series verizon cell camera about 3 years ago. I watched your initial setup video and it worked flawless for two seasons. This year I moved to an area where ATT network works better. I reached out to Cuddeback and unfortunately the sim card cannot be changed so I either had to buy a new ATT home camera or the L series Cell Home base station (has both ATT and Verizon sim cards) which is what I opted for. I think I have hodge podged enough info from your videos to get it working but is that a video you can put together in the future for someone like me that has to change the home unit to the new L series instead of the remote cameras? Thanks for your videos.
Great idea, thank you!
As always, very helpful and critical to success with these cam’s. Question: what is the model #? Is there only one model #?
Model C21-002
Thank you. So this will let them link in without the Incident imei entry into the app/online?
Yes
how far apart are your cameras? What is the furthest distance you would go between them (obviously it depends on terrain)?
All situational, on average 100-400 yards
400 - line of sight
100 - heavy tree /hill
@@Liam-ql7tr line of sight with no obstruction up to 1000 yards in some cases
Why was your second channel number 17? Having problems connecting mine
That is the channel I picked. As long as all your cameras are on the same channel and each have a unique location ID, the system should link up.
@@internalflameoutdoors i believe i need to do an update to my g series. Not giving me that second channel number option on the home cam when choosing channel number. Going to give that a go tomorrow. Thanks for the video
@@matthewkatz5315 check out my updating firmware video if you need 👍
My LL-2A has 1.4.0 firmware will that work
Yes
Can you make it send every pic taken go to home cell cam every single time it takes a picture?
You can, however the system will not work efficiently with multiple cameras. Most efficient cell rate is one hour.
@@internalflameoutdoors thanks for your reply. I am wanting to use as a security cam so quick notice is beneficial
@@fredgarvin4482 you can have one individual camera send photos immediately, while the rest of the system sends them every hour
Have you gotten enough pictures to give a good opinion on picture quality with these new L series cameras?
Yes, better than J series, a bit more crisp, I will post samples on Facebook and Instagram
The fact that you can’t get a cuddelink home is poor planning on the company’s part. They advertise it on their website, but it’s not available anywhere. My hunting cabin is centrally located on my property and the highest point as well. A cuddelink home would have been great. Called Cuddeback and their solution was to buy another camera. Great, spend more money on a camera taking constant pictures of us walking around. They should remove it from all advertisements if it’s not available.
The home cellular camera that does not take pictures will be available this summer, July ish. Will be able to run AT&T or Verizon for whichever works better in your area. Is that what you are looking for?
@@internalflameoutdoors Yes. You might want to talk with Cuddeback’s customer service. I informed them that they had advertised the home link would be available 3/2023 and I was told it would be available sometime in 2024 at the earliest.
@@eze2190 OK, that is news to me. I understood July 🤞
Hopefully you’re right. Have a great Memorial Day weekend!!!!
@@eze2190 you too man!
