What I mean by underrated is there are instances when I show a image to someone and they are like "oh the image looks good because its been edited" and i'm like editing is also a part of creating editing is also a part of art and people should understand that.

I love photography because I love the idea of capturing a moment, a memory forever. It really is wonderful how much easir we can look back in time with photography. Also, it is really fun to go out and explore just me and my camera. Much love from Portugal! I hope you enjoy your stay
I'm actually really happy because I was already doing a lot of the things you do in Lightroom! All those little tips about bringing the clarity up, or balancing the whites with the highlights and shadows with the blacks are things I now do naturally! Still learned a lot though and I'm very excited to try new things on my next pics!
First off let me just say how much I loved and valued this video and the time and effort you put into it. About a year ago now I graduated from high school and had no clue what I wanted to do. I loved photography and I figured I'd do something with that. I had a basic Nikon camera at the time now I have upgraded to a really nice Cannon. I've been going to school to get my photography certification and the current course I am in is intro to photoshop. I'm really enjoying it so far. My photography teacher always says something along the lines of "Don't shoot to edit, shoot to enhance" and that is exactly what you do. I love photography because everything has beauty but not everyone can see it. Photography allows you to capture the beauty around you and show others different perspectives. I also love how everyone shoots and sees things differently. I have learned throughout my classes that we all have different point of views or ways of capturing things and that is so amazing. My favorite part about shooting is creating black and white photos because you have to truly capture the emotion of a photo without using color. I'm really enjoying my photography journey and your channel is partly what inspired me to get into it and I always mention you in class whenever I get the chance. We had to pick a favorite photographer and what are favorite B&W picture was and I chose the one you did with the reflection on the building because that was so cool. Thank you for creating such awesome videos and inspiring me everyday! P.S sorry this was so long!

I love Photography allows me to completely manipulate an image and use my imagination to create whatever I want! It’s also great to take photos of people and see how happy it makes them when you show them the image after you edit it and send it to them! It’s also a great way to campfire memories and rather than keeping a diary with written words it shows so much information in just one photo
I only started using Lightroom and taking pictures in August for my high school yearbook. After shooting for the first time, I knew it was something I HAD to keep doing. I'm pretty much that extreme beginner. I've been watching your videos for about an hour now and within that hour you've helped me in SO many ways. Thank you!! I am so excited to implement all of these things I've learned in one night!!

This is why I love photography man! All the tiny details that go unnoticed until they're pointed out. The same details that would change the photo entirely if they were omitted. I love that photography captures a specific moment in time that will live on forever. I love that each and every photo tells a story. The difficulty in trying to tell that story, a lifetime's worth of struggles, achievements, ups and downs, in one click of a button that takes 1/250th of a second to capture is thrilling to me. The challenge of taking what my eyes see and what my mind knows and transferring that information onto a screen for other people to experience along with me is why I love photography. The challenges of photography, and the storytelling that goes along with it, is why I love photography.

Im taking a photography class and were learning the editing. We learned that you actually shouldnt touch the contrast at all, instead you should use your shadow and black to create that contrast! it looks way better! :) but this helped me so much in the end, thank you

This was really helpful! It's always interesting to see how pro's edit their photos. One thing I've learned in photography, is that what looks good to me, might not look good you and it really comes down to just doing what looks good to you I guess. Now, there are things that we can both note that don't look good such as over exposure, but really, the overall look of the photo is pretty subjective.

I love photography because it gives us an opportunity to share with others our unique outlook on the world... a window to our lives per se. There can be so much creativity and expression through photography through a variety of different mediums. Theres the technical aspect of it such as understanding how your camera works , f stops, shutter speed etc, and photo editors and then then the creative side playing with colours, angles, bokeh... unlimited possibilties :)

Glad you uploaded this! I use the free lightroom app to edit and ive always been able to pull off some great edits but I tried some of the things you mentioned and it helped a bunch!
Awesome video mate! I love your pack with the instant banger! I have never used the camera calibration! Definitely going to start playing with that!
Pretty good tutorial, but some of the effect can be achieved much faster and without impacting other part of the photo using the masking and filters tools (for example, taking the orange off the clouds). Also, when playing with saturation, its always a good idea to use the vibrance tool rather than the saturation, since the first one impacts only the colors that need to be saturated, while the second one changes all the colors.

I love photography because it's my way to show my thoughts. It's the most vivid way to create a story, capture it and portray something unique to your mind for others to see. I struggle with using my voice, so I use my photos as my words. And only recently did I start to put that on the internet on platforms like Instagram for the world to see. I'm just starting out. But photography means everything to me.
