I totally agree. Whenever I watch a video about editing in LR/PS the person making the video always say they could make a whole video just about the curves but they never do. I want to learn!

I have 2 more hidden tricks using the control and the alt key When you are doing curves. If you hold down the alt key, it will go a lot slower and you have more control over the curves.Up and down
Another trick I've found is if you hold down the control key and you go to move a slider. It goes a lot slower and you have more control over it.

DUDE. That Cmd trick for masks is a game changer. I've been editing for years and had never used it, wow.

Quick Tip; You don't need to hold down the command for masking, there's a toggle called "Auto Mask" at the button of the masking panel :)

I've been doing photography for about 20 years and recently discovered your videos. Great explanations of some of these tips. These programs like Lightroom and Photoshop are so huge it is hard for one person to know everything about them. I'm happy to say that I learned something new in this video on editing that will save me a ton of time on my next projects. Awesome job!!!!
I am so thankful that you have started this "Content For Content Creators" because I feel like there are so many unanswered questions (most are but they're dated from what I have found) about how to achieve certain looks and while most people just tell people to purchase a preset pack, you're here explaining how to actually do it *slow claps* THANK YOU

My biggest secret is the color rectangle with the adjustment brush. Click on the adjustment brush. Select the burn (darken) preset. Then click on the little symbol that looks like the back of an envelope down on the right. When you click on that rectangle you can pick any color that you want. Pick something in the blues and then use an adjustment brush in the sky. Or pick something in the flesh tones and use the adjustment brush on somebody's face. I use this on people's faces when there's no pink or orange in the face. Sometimes the face looks gray. And you can't use the HSL sliders to make the face look real. So you can use an adjustment brush on the face. Pick a color similar to what you want the face color to be. Pull down your adjustment brush exposure to darken it. Pull up your adjustment brush saturation to use a little more color. Bam. My secret. Don't tell anybody.
