New Perspective is on Spotify actually (you may have to type it in search since it's not listed under the band's page). Not sure about Apple Music since I don't use it.
I used to be a Spotify user a few years ago but I could never find it back then but right after I posted this video my brother sent me the song from Spotify. I use Apple Music now and they still don’t have it. I had to download it and throw it on my library.
I'm not gonna lie, I have a similar experience with this album to what you experience with Too Weird to Live...I used to love it when it first came out when I was in high school, but now it's just OK. I really love Mona Lisa, Memories, Sarah Smiles and Nearly Witches. But the rest are just OK to me. The bonus tracks from this album such as Bittersweet, Stall Me, Oh Glory, Kaleidoscope Eyes in my opinion they're better than some of the tracks on the main album.
That’s very interesting to hear. What is it about the album that you don’t really like compared to the other albums in your opinion? After I posted this video I listened to this album again and actually studied these lyrics more than I did in my note taking process. With that I came to the conclusion that this album seems to be really personal to Brendon and that his songwriting is really good. I think he doesn’t get enough credit for his songwriting. Another thing I found was while the sound may be upbeat and have this alternative rock sound to it, the lyrics are actually really deep and meaningful. It shows that Brendon was really going through something at this time. All of this made me love this album way more than I already do. Last thing then I’ll end this long reply, throughout the album I heard a lot of similar sounds that they did in A Fever and I really love that.
