YES!!!! Fever is an absolute banger! Completely agree with you that this album has no skips (besides nails). I feel like what makes Nails so unbearable to hear is its sound design. The live version of Nails sounds soooo much better than the studio & demo version IMO. You should check it out on the Nothing Rhymes with Circus tour. Apparently, the title for Esteban originated from a guitar commercial. My top 3 panic album would be AFYCSO, PO, TWTLTRTD.

I knew him with Go Away and I was obsessed, I started to follow him and when Ivory came out I was really pleased, it has a whole mood to it, I felt the Frank Ocean vibes. I really loved Petrified, Killing me, Evergreen, Bad Life, Personally, En El Olvido and Go Away. You should listen to his Tiny Desk you would love Petrified even more, and the long version of Endlessly is really good too.

Great review!! I listened to the album when it came out and tbh it bored me, but I gave it another try a couple of months ago when the Deluxe edition came out and now it's easily in my top 5 albums of 2022. And now Evergreen is a hit so yeah 🔥

This movie looks freaking amazing, and my guy please, please watch the first three Hellraiser films. Or watch all of them, including this one makes like number 10 I think. Any way love this. Pin Heads voice gruff sexy, beautiful. The look is just wow...I am watching this. Thank you for your content and reaction .

W review

I disagree, I think they succeeded greatly. Just like Sgt Pepper and a couple other Beatles albums, it has aged like fine wine and is more appreciated now. I loved Fever and hated PO back then, but now it’s swapped. I love PO. The style of music is evergreen. His voice is much more reserved now. In later albums, Urie’s voice is overused and is almost too high at times. Plus, PO had brilliant lyrics.

There really is no "interpreting" the lyrics in this album because the entire thing is told poetically using absurdist and abstract sentences. The band was said to have taken shrooms during this time, lol. So the point of this album is about the "emotions" you feel while listening rather than what the words are saying. The band may have had an aim when they were writing it, but we cannot really interpret it because we don't know what they were truly thinking. The interesting thing is you can feel what they were feeling, and the words are irrelevant to that experience.

Lol this is my favorite album by them hands down. It was their peak in creativity in my opinion. It was divisive when it was released, but now most of the fandom place it on par with Fever as one of their best.

Hey bro! Really loving the Panic! series and Im not sure if ur counting bonus songs but for this album aren't there two bonus songs called "All The Boys" and "Can't Fight Against The Youth"? I'm not gonna lie, I have a similar experience with this album to what you experience with Too Weird to Live...I used to love it when it first came out when I was in high school, but now it's just OK. I really love Mona Lisa, Memories, Sarah Smiles and Nearly Witches. But the rest are just OK to me. The bonus tracks from this album such as Bittersweet, Stall Me, Oh Glory, Kaleidoscope Eyes in my opinion they're better than some of the tracks on the main album.

New Perspective is on Spotify actually (you may have to type it in search since it's not listed under the band's page). Not sure about Apple Music since I don't use it.

I think This is Gospel is the best song quality-wise because it's about Spencer leaving so obviously Brendon put a lot of passion into it.

I can't decide if this or VLV are my favorite of the newer albums. They're both pretty good.

The dark and demonic stuff featured in this album's imagery is just symbolic of the darkness that you can come across in not only in LA but as a celebrity in general. Things like drugs, sex and people using and abusing you for your talents. There is nothing really "demonic" about it, I known people in that world and the real evil is in humanity, the secret society stuff is all just talk. Brendon Urie was symbolizing how he was forced to give up some of his personal values in order to be where he is today. Him and the band went through a lot of baggage.

This is my least favorite album by them and in my opinion their lowest in quality. However, I will admit that I like some of the songs on it. I think the lacking quality comes from the fact that he started writing this album not intending to have an album out, but the record label heard the progress and made him rush it out.

I'm actually really glad that Jeremy Slater is writing the story for the 2nd Mortal Kombat movie!! I like that they're going to continue the commitment to the fatality lore, but not overplay it. That's honestly smart. The tight, fast-paced choreography is kind of what hurt Mortal Kombat 2021, so perhaps less quick-shot cuts and transitions? It's tough to smooth some fighting scenes in the editing process, but I believe they can follow on some action with panning shots and perhaps a few wide-out, to drastic close-in shots, like for example: Scorpion fighting Noob-Saibot- Noob Saibot going in for a blow, Scorpion does his fade-away and re-enters from the other side of the same scene shot, unexpectidely. That would have fans wowed and on the edge of their seats, maybe Scorpion anticipates it and counters somehow. Next, we get a wide pan-out as the two fighters regroup and begin to charge at one another, and quick close-in to see Noob Saibot make an X-ray hard hit impact to Scorpions chest. My picks for new Mortal Kombat Earthrealm champions: Kitana, Kenshi, Stryker My picks for new villains: Noob Saibot, Quan Chi, Kortal Kahn *Maybe by the ancient legends stories that were hinted in Sonya's layer in the first movie, along with a statue of Shao Kahn, we're led to believe he has already been defeated in a past tournament...but Kortal Kahn immerges in his stead.

Check out The Struts. They give off a big Queen vibe.

Pray For The Wicked (King Of The Clouds) 5. A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (The Only Difference...) 6. Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die (This Is Gospel) 7. Pretty. Odd. (She Had The World) The top 3 albums made me float listening to them, the other 4 didn't, but I still love them all. All 6 of em. Edit: I got into Panic! in 2020, and I listened to them chronologically so I wasn't influenced by attachment from nostalgia

Have you listened to Jellyfish? Older, but definitely with a healthy helping of Queen. Personally his high range and notes in this song reallllllly work for me, especially because we spend so much of this song in his low range that it’s finally earned in the chorus. I definitely feel like the scream in his voice is by choice and I love how it sounds in the mix

Great review my guy! Love the honesty :)) I like the album as a whole. By far the most creative they've done since P.O., but there are no standouts for me which is kind of a bummer.

I love it. As a panic fan since Fever, I love that it's almost a little Pretty odd reminiscent in the music, the guitar. Lots of people are saying it's a diss but I don't see it that way, I see it as a homage and that Ryan was so talented and just didn't care for fame but he'll be remembered regardless. To me it's nostalgia and not a diss.

I actually really liked this song. I think I like what he’s doing a little more than the song itself but I can see the homage he’s paying to their early days together. I’m glad he’s acknowledging Ryan as a god honestly cause he pretty much is a legend for what he gave us. Also the intro super reminds me of a blink182 cover of dancing w myself and I know they originally started off as a blink cover band and hearing that sounds took me way back to the days before panic was even out and it feels really true to their beginnings. It’s dope to see Brandon doing these genuine songs w an interesting newish sound from him. It’s probably the realest music he’s made as panic though maybe not purely the best. But also the vocals remind me a lot of what he did on las vengeance but it’s growing on me. Aight Peace out 🤘🏽✌🏽
