Definitely the episode that made me fall in love with Jaime. At the very end when he says "sorry about the sapphires" * *Rains of Castamere intensifies* * fucking love it! 😄

I think that's a really good point you said about Dany in season 7 being tired of everything. That's another thing Jon and Dany share as main characters. She has been working for the throne since season 1 and Jon has been fighting the dead since season 1. By the time they meet, it's been years of trials trying achieve their missions and they're both so close, they kinda toss patience to the wind. That's when they have to back up and remember to be prudent (in their second meeting), no matter how important they believe their mission is.
How ironic would it have been if Jaime had almost climbed out of that pit only for someone to say "the things I do for love" and chucked his ass back down.
What I love above the last scene is that we see the noble side of “A Lannister pays his/hers debts.” Tyrion and Cercie used it to get one up of their apponents or vengeance. Jamie used it because he was in debt to someone who had protected him. He was in Brienne’s dept and chose to pay it back by saving her.

I felt sorry for the bear, Brianne was about to turn it into a rug.
They also didn't do "Jaime Lannister sends his regards" because they didn't do Lady Stoneheart. That phrase was probably the most important catalyst for Lady Stoneheart's thirst for death and revenge. Without her, though, it's unnecessary.

One important thing to keep in mind with regards to "The Lannisters send their regards" vs. "Jaime Lannister sends his regards":
In the books we can assume it's important that Catelyn hear Roose Bolton directly drop Jaime's name, as GRRM clearly has something planned with regards to Lady Stoneheart going up against Jaime early in book 6. When she captures Brienne, we know she's convinced Jaime played a role in the Red Wedding, which is obviously because of what Roose said. But in the show, they didn't intend to have Lady Stoneheart, and so they probably saw it as unnecessary for the plot to have Roose specifically drop Jaime's name. I'm not saying it's ideal, because I do prefer him saying the book version of the line, but at least I think this explains why they did things the way they did.
Sam Goldstein sure it works better for story reasons, but there is more to “Jamie Lannister sends his regards” that works in the show too. It’s that extra kick in the gut to Catelyn, that last nail in the coffin that really told Catelyn that her actions caused this, that she is the reason her family is being murdered in front of her.
Why would Lady Stoneheart capture Brienne, when Brienne is sworn to her?
@@RLucas3000 Catelyn believes Jaime is responsible in some degree for the Red Wedding, thanks to what Roose said in her hearing. Since Brienne was supposed to exchange Jaime for the Stark daughters, and does not, Catelyn believes Brienne has betrayed her. It's been a while since I've read the books, but if I remember correctly the part in the show where The Hound accuses Brienne of being a Lannister loyalist because of her sword (season 4 finale?) is something Catelyn does in the book, and Brienne fails to make a convincing argument for why she's walking around with a Lannister sword. This all comes about because Brienne gets injured in a fight, the Brotherhood rescues her, and they immediately recognize Brienne thanks to her size and notoriety - so she gets brought before Catelyn/Lady Stoneheart, and that's the last chapter with her so far in the books.

In the books Jaime did had a dream about the previous Kingsguards that were sworn to protect the mad king and Rhaegar's kids, but failed it, and his was down in the rock's crypts and he was with Brienne of tarth fighting together with light swords?
Boyfriend and I just finished rewatching the entire show agai, and at one point we were behind y'all and couldn't watch the recaps til after we watched the episodes (obviously) because we wanted to watch them fresh! And now... i mean we finish the entire show within maybe 2 weeks, and that's with us both working full time 😂

Our First Sergeant said it is the most crucial thing on the battlefield, if our bearer (a guy with no weapon) was killed we're expected to drop everything, grab up that flag, and charge in with only the pointy end to defend ourself

armies rarely ever did something for no reason, drums other instruments like buggles were used to communicate orders, flags were used for command and control, in order to know where a unit is and to have a point where soldiers of a unit might rally around, both literally and metaphorically. It was proven over and over again, that armies with more discipline, with better command and control, regularly beat less organized and well trained opponents.

So taking 2 weeks for an episodes still in schedule for it to be finished or almost finished when the series is concluded
