This reminds me of my Aunt Theresa from Hungary who took care of me make her homemade apple pies from green Apple's & her homemade crust, Never to this day have I found a single apple pie compare to hers, they have all been a disappointment. I am headed to Chef Baba's kitchen right now for the scraps.
I worked a Serbian wedding and they had this dessert and I had to find out how to make it. I cant wait to try this recipe and I love the cooking show, we can see the love put into the food and the love in the family ♡♡♡

Does your recipe call for any baking powder ,just wondering?
Hi Penny. I did not see your question. I do not use baking powder but if you want use, you can use 1/2 of teaspoon.

This is a show to teach the audience how to make the apple pie and sometimes it feels like her son wants to be taught and take credit, she is the master you are the student. You also should not make faces or roll your eyes at baba, she is an amazing cook and she taught me some good techniques. My mother cooks like her as well, Demire this is not about you. there is no European pie, this must be a slowenien type of kuchen with grated apples.
