The only thing antique in the entire house was the fireplace 😂😂 enough to last for two decades of winters.
It does get cold just not that cold. Our winter is mostly rain.

I just looked it up out of curiosity coldest temperature in Los angles ever recorded (1949) was 28 degrees F -2 Celsius lol

We live in Chicago and this is a dog that's perfectly happy in 0 degree weather.

If I where to live in California and could afford that house, I'd invest in a self contained waterrecycling system. Cause that house still cant stop a wildfire, and it's dependent on the public water 👍🏼

That billiard room is one of the nicest I’ve seen. They can often look super tacky but this one is CHIC. Love the antique fireplace.

I love looking at these AD gibillion dollar homes. The jaw drops, I gasp, and I don’t think I breathe again for the rest of it. Occasionally I throw my arms up into the air and say “Good God!” When you think about it, watching these videos is a little like riding a roller coaster. You may be a little sick in your stomach at the end, but you always want to go again.

I absolutely love this house! Everything is to my taste. The only thing I would like to add is a hot tub/ Jacuzzi instead of a bath in the main bedroom, then it would be perfect. It's nice to dream 😍

I like high ceilings, personally, but if I were designing a large-interior house with the idea of "comfort" in mind, I would design around minimizing sound echo off the walls. I could hear a lot of echo just from the presenter's speech. I think acoustic insulation would go a long way to making this home feel more genuinely cozy.
