Mikey, the short answer is: Induction cooking heats the cookware through electromagnets. So, the cooktop doesn't get hot. Just the cookware. There's more to it. However, that's the quick version.
The cooktop will get hot but not from its own power. The heated cookware will heat up the cooktop just as hot through conduction. The whole design was a sales gimick that is flawed. Put that technology into a pan, now that's innovation.

Definitely one of the best modern layout homes on your channel. The kitchen and how it seamlessly opens up to the eating , family room AND outside with views ? Stunning!
This is probably the nicest modern home I've seen on your channel. It manages to have that angular, modern aesthetic but doesn't feel like a hotel. Kudos to the designer/developer! And of course your tours make every home seem interesting.

It's amazing how Enes and his team produce this content, every detail in the presentation of the house, and with the video in 4K and with subtitles in several languages. The other producers should learn that, just incredible work.
Unwanted knowledge drop: Induction actually uses the magnets to only heat up the part where the pot stands on and not the whole area. Meaning you can put a small pot on the big plate and it only heats up the pot. Also if theres no pot on there, you can literally leave the stove on and it wont heat up.
Also, in order for it to work, you have to have cookware that can hold a magnetic charge. Cast iron cookware works. Stainless steel may or may not work depending on the metals used (example, if it has a lot of nickel in it, it won't work). Things like that. Nowadays they tell you on the box whether it will work with an induction top, but just be aware that not everything will work.
this drastically changes how you are able to cook on the stove, some techniques become nearly impossible, anything requiring removing the pan, like flipping a pancake or fried rice, immediately stops all heat it seems good-ish if you have small children around, but I suspect that most serious home cooks still prefer gas, hence the hybrid gas/induction stoves that I have seen
In my opinion and for my taste: This is one of the most beautiful, elegant & functional houses ever seen on your channel! I want to praise and emphasize your focus-view for amazing details of such an aesthetic work of art ...! Great work of you both! Best regards. Love & peace on earth ...!

Induction hobs work by heating the pan directly. It's heated by the copper rings creating a magnetic field and the heat passing through it to heat the pan. They're popular in the UK and super easy to clean! Great video as always Enes.
This man, Alex Firnigl, died suddenly and unexpectedly 6th May 2021. He was an amazing daddy and the best possible partner I could have wished for. He was a big fan of Ennes’s videos here and on the main channel. He was proud to have discovered you on the main channel early and have followed your journey. We both looked forward to the weekly videos and had a tradition around watching together when the children were finally asleep. I wanted to thank you all for the entertainment and pleasure these videos brought him and us. If you see this, please raise a glass to a man who you brought many a smile to and know you gave us something to look forward to at a time when otherwise there wasn’t much to talk about (lockdown life is a bit of a conversation killer). He was always thrilled when someone responded to his comments on a post. I just wanted to think you might read something from him one last time and know you brought joy to a man who was amazing and who I loved very very much. Thank you, I will continue watching your videos and following your progress. Shout out especial to Mikey- we are big fans! Zoe
Hello Zoe. So sorry you have lost Alex. So sorry for your children too, whatever their ages. Much love from New Zealand, hugs and caring, even though I cannot fully comprehend your loss, I don't suppose anyone really can. Dale.
Honestly Enes and Mikey, your channel is so much better than the other ones. I've recently found myself clicking away from another channel's tour's because they simply dont have your pacing or charisma. 99% of us can never afford these homes, but you take us on a journey and I never feel like your target audience are the 1%, I feel like you are touring it for the 99% of us.
Engineering student here! Induction works by creating a magnetic field that connects with the cooking pot to create heat. If there is no cooking pot placed on the induction cooktop, it doesn’t heat anything.
I loved the distribution. Above, essentially social and below, all the rooms. The view is really unique and it certainly brings a significant part of the value. The two levels closed is jaw falling... Great house! And another great presentation by the team. Thumbs up
I dont think he likes to talk about negative features of the houses he tours. Like the one house that had all the houses behind it and just a sliver of ocean view.
Induction cooking is really nice. Boils water fastest and gives great temperature control. Very even cooking. Gas is still best, but induction is just fine.
This house has been toured by lots of other TH-camrs but when Enes does the tour it just hits you differently!! How come this is on Enes Plus but not on the main channel??
There's a lot I like about this house, and I didn't expect to given its style. But there seems to be a major power line going OVER the house. And I can't erase the thought of swimming in this pool at the same time the San Andreas fault decides to throw a major tantrum. What fun.
Hi both, just to let you know how an induction hob works. You only get heat when you put your induction pots and pans on the ring, which means you can put your hand on the ring when its on and you won't get burnt 👍.
Induction does only make the pan hot. You can touch the induction after you cooked. Water is basically instant boiling. It's amazing. Here in Switzerland it's standart.

Ps: this house should be ilegal for how amazing it is
Thank you so much Enrico! Great to have you as part of the family!
Induction hobs work by heating the pan directly. It's heated by the copper rings creating a magnetic field and the heat passing through it to heat the pan. They're popular in the UK and super easy to clean! Great video as always Enes.
Theres no words to describe it's to die for
You know it!
You have covered A LOT of gorgeous, GORGEOUS, master bathroom, but I must say, this is is the most gorgeous of them all 😍
Thank you so much!
I remember seeing this house in the video by Wall Street Journal WSJ that Enes was featured in😊
now you can see the full tour :)
Wow but wow. I looooove it. Such a sense of glamour and well being combined in one. One of the top designs to date that you have presented.👏😃
Don't know if you guys know this, but you're videos are somewhere inspirational for kids like us, to work hard and own such houses someday.
Hallelujah brother. That's exactly what I'm using those videos for.
This view is absolutely spectacular. Couldn’t get enough of that
This man, Alex Firnigl, died suddenly and unexpectedly 6th May 2021.
Love the vibe in the house, this is just ‘goals’ Enes. What a property wow
Engineering student here! Induction works by creating a magnetic field that connects with the cooking pot to create heat. If there is no cooking pot placed on the induction cooktop, it doesn’t heat anything.
Epic one liners
MCU - Bring me Thanos
DC - Not impressed
ENES - Let me open the glass sliding doors for you.
😆😉❤🇮🇳
Not that much
‘Mikey let’s get a close up’ probably a better example 😂
I loved the distribution. Above, essentially social and below, all the rooms. The view is really unique and it certainly brings a significant part of the value. The two levels closed is jaw falling... Great house! And another great presentation by the team. Thumbs up
Enes, why didn’t you talk about the huge power line you have in the front yard.
Yeah, I was wondering about that too. Not that I'd ever be able to afford this but if I could that would bug me.
@@jasoncorreia7508 yes very true. But the more I think about it, the power line doesn’t affect the view from the backyard too much.
I dont think he likes to talk about negative features of the houses he tours. Like the one house that had all the houses behind it and just a sliver of ocean view.
Better than having it run through the backyard/view.
@@benmartinez8443 powerlines can affect pacemakers. I've had it happen to me
The architect deserves an award. Incredible utilisation of those amazing views.
Mohamed hadid is the architect
I love this house you’d think this would be around 30-45 million definitely my dream home!!!
This is one of my top 5 favourite houses, the views and the overall structure of the house is just incredible! thanks for the amazing tour Enes
I thought it was the main channel due to the intro 😁😁
Anyways waiting for Monday 🙂👍🙏
Monday's video is insane
@@EnesPlus 😁😁🙏🙏 LA views
Sir enes alaways the best
@@EnesPlus we counting
Induction cooking is really nice. Boils water fastest and gives great temperature control. Very even cooking. Gas is still best, but induction is just fine.
This house has been toured by lots of other TH-camrs but when Enes does the tour it just hits you differently!!
How come this is on Enes Plus but not on the main channel??
WOW!!! What an amazingly unique design for the experience of being up so high with the view always over the 🌃 city!!!
How lucky the family who lives on this house during pandemic
As I was seeing it, I felt in love with the drive way in. That's how it is supposed to be done when you own such a big Home 😅👌
two tours in a week wow !
You know it!
Induction does only make the pan hot. You can touch the induction after you cooked. Water is basically instant boiling. It's amazing. Here in Switzerland it's standart.
Everyone's focused on the views, but sheesh Enes's drip though 😏.
Enes's you should model 😂
Thanks Felix
I truly can see him acting....he'd be a natural.
The master bath is so elegant. I like the dark blue touches.
Glad you liked that detail!
That back garden is absolutely terrifying. It’s so high up 😰
