- Today Architectural Digest is welcomed by Sofía Vergara to tour her stunning home in Los Angeles. The ‘Griselda’ star had quite a challenge on her hands when first acquiring her palatial Beverly Park mansion-according to her, it resembled a castle you might find in Transylvania. But with the expert help of interior designer, Ohara Davies-Gaetano, Vergara’s home was transformed into a Mediterranean paradise in the heart of California. Ornate European touches fill the space, from an 18th-century French limestone fireplace to baroque antiques placed beneath a 19th-century Italian chandelier. Vergara’s home truly does transport you to the luxurious rivieras of Europe and makes a perfect sanctuary to enjoy for years to come. “My friends from Colombia find any excuse to visit. There’s just something about this place that makes guests want to stay. It’s special. I still wake up every day thinking, I can’t believe this is my life.”

Ohara Davies-Gaetano is NOT the interior designer of that property, as Timothy Corrigan was the interior designer that worked with Sophia, for over 5 years, and 90% of the interiors shown in this video were created by him! Shame on AD for promoting a fraud artist, while a very spiteful Sophia has proven again why she has a reputation as one of the meanest people in Hollywood.

Absolutely one of the best features - not overdone - too lavish... the light colors feel inviting and warm - space is used well without being cluttered. I love the balcony that allows guests to see what is going on below - and that all the rooms have a view of the yard. I would love to see what the house looked like before the renovations. This and Carmelo Anthony's house are my favorite.

I just knew she had impeccable taste. Even if you do not like the architectural style, she recreated such a mixture of beautifully designed furniture and soothing beauty in every corner. She is exceptional in her choices. Love her as she is all true to herself. What a beautiful lady!
This has to be one of my favorite houses. Way too often celebrities get caught up in the “elegance” and “wow” factor that the house isn’t really livrable. But this house is so clean, so elegant, beautiful, but above all - SO HOMEY and livable. Love this!

I adore the painting, I love how the figure sticks out and contrasts with everything around it. It sticks out and says, I’m here, I’m imperfect, but I am proud and confident. I think it represents and speaks to her.

Ah, I just love the classic look of everything. This is so underrated. Everyone's trying to urbanize and modernize everything now. But classic looks has so much character and class. Love it!!

This is not a classic look. She's thrown a couple of 'classic' things in but otherwise it has a sterile and minimalistic 'modern' element to it. And that ceiling in the dining area is tacky . But overall it's a nice house and wayyyy better than most celebrity homes.

its a nice house but this like most of the celeb homes scream investment property, nothing wrong with doing this, its just this place was clearly built for like a family of 5 or 6 not a single woman and it just feels ridiculous that they show us around like the place was built for her instead of for the market.

I study architecture and I got to say this has to be one of the best houses you shown so far. The interior is just stunning and the rooms got a great quality! Really really well done. Wouldn’t do it better, whoever did the layout of this house was cooking!
The details on the ceiling of the dining area is immaculate!! So beautiful
The very light natural colors is super clean, I feel it really accentuates the people in the house instead of the objects.

The trinitarian flowers in the garden are a very Colombian Caribbean thing and Fernando Botero’s art as well. You can tell her fingerprint is everywhere, plus the way she explains everything makes it clear that she was totally involved.

Yes, Sofia's castle is just gorgeous and has a sunny energy, just like its owner. This must be one of my fav celebrity homes on AD, Sofia has exquisite taste, and a fantastic eye for colours, [her lipstick colour is ambrosiac]. Indeed her instinctual appreciation of the great Botero says it all.
