    I did this 10 years ago on a 100 meter High School Track. Did the conversion math and got an Average of 25.5inches. It has become the most useful number in my head. (Yes I have short legs)

    Lees then 1 foot between steps.. that is slow walk. use metric and evrything becomes more exact and eadier ;)

    Really, some people cannot do math. I don't know why, but I've seen it a dozen times. But I can't speak French, so touche'.

      A 25 ft tape is inconvenient for measuring at times.
      I used to carry 20 fiberglass fenceposts at a time and polywire. My post placement using this method was very accurate.

      Watch them thumbs dude. Might get pinched in your tape measure
