I agree with you. But in my opinion, they cannot make Tony alive again. When they do it now, they destroy the best of Endgame and Infinity War. I enjoyed Endgame, but it wasn't a very good movie in my opinion. And Tony's death was the best part of the movie, or it was the best written scene in this movie and the one that was the most emotional. If you take him back, you destroy all the good work. I think they should've ended the stories of each character as individual movies or just let them rest, but now they alienate evryone, feed the sexist-wars and just ruin every charakter there is. And sadly, there is no way back.

Ryan Reynolds showed us more entertainment and more laughs in about 1min than the entire phase bore of the MCU! Without the talent they had at the beginning the writing by amateurs and activists its only a matter of time before it collapses!

I think RDJ is too smart to come back. As for Hugh in DPIII, I’m not optimistic. It will either be a cameo or he’ll be a repeated punchline which is a total insult for the most serious of characters. Logan rarely smiles for Christ’s sake. The Wolverine set in the 1970’s (Days of Future Past) should’ve been expanded on. He was awesome in that movie.

My dad and I would go to every Marvel movie premiere the day before it came out, starting with the first Avengers movie. When we saw captain Marvel I was already feeling that disappointment. At Thor Love & Thunder, it was just sad. I really hope they make a come back and if not, then I guess it’s true that good things never last forever. I really loved those years going to the movies with my dad and bonding over the MCU movies. Guess we’ll have to find another tradition. ☹️

Their obsession with Steve Roger's virginity is bizarre. If the writers had actually watched Endgame, they'd have seen that he went back in time and ended up with Peggy Carter - do they honestly think that he and Peggy didn't do it within minutes of reuniting? We all know there's no way Steve would have done it on tour.
That's probably classified info that the Hulk isn't supposed to say to the public. It's why I'm mad that they cucked Bruce in that scene. He could have covered for Steve better if he was the friend that he said he was. It also had to do with no one valuing chasty anymore. I actually highly respected that Captain America remained to have integrity and chasty. To not overemphasise his potentional new sexuality, but remain the 1930s respect man he always was. Respecting women particularly the one he always had a flame for. Complete opposite of his counter part Iron Man in which the same people would debase for being a pig because he oversexualized women. Captain America gave men another option to live up to but no we'll just mock him for his life choices and values because he's 'too hot' to possibly actually value and respect women.

I´ve said from the very beginning that these script-lines are a totally private obsession of the writers with Steve Rogers/ Chris Evans. The only reason for them being in the show is to thirst-trap Chris Evans in real life, to get his attention, to get a reaction out of him. (And I guess it worked, as far as I know he made some public remark?) These empty women are risibly easy to psychoanalyze!

Slice-of-life shows about people with superpowers are their own genre in anime. But a DisMarv show needs a _lot_ more viewers to justify its existence than an anime does.
The writers had 40 years worth of She Hulk comics to work from… The origin, character and backstory were all there!! They just chose to throw them away and make an Ally McBeal man hating show. It’s the same story with Thor/Hulk where Hemsworth and Waititi have openly admitted to not researching or being interested in the comic book characters as “Banner the science guy is boring”. If you’re a writer/director hired by Marvel to create a multi-million dollar movie based on a success comic book franchise, you don’t just throw the comics away because you’d rather do something so wildly different that it barely resembles the comic book character and contradicts the rest of your established movies. That writer/director is not the right person for the job!

Honnestly i would just put a higher not on Hawkeye and Moon Knoght because the story was enjoyable and the character were good (except for Kingpin) and put Hawkeye: 6/10 the serie was fun, and even if they nerfed Clint they give a sorta understandable explaination, really liked the character of Kate Bishop, but they did Kingpin dirty, the story could had been resolved in 2 episodes if they just called other heroes or police (or even Daredevil) and the character of Echo and the other Black Widow was boring Moonknight: 7,5/10 the only really good nearly until the end Marvel's show with What if, the story was interesting, really liked how they recreated the character and especially Steven, amazing acting from Oscar Isaac, a really good direction for action scene (my favourite stay the moment where Jake awoken and beat the sh-t out of the villain offscreen and we are left to imagine what happened) but the final episode just ruin it, they should have made another episode because the finale was too fast and it ruined a lot of things like the rythm of the episode, they were things that didn't make a lot of sense like the confrontation of Konshu with Ammit, or how did the others avatars got beaten by one guy. But the serie was good in my opinion, and this and Hawkeye were the only good Marvel's serie that came out with What if.

Leading up to End Game, there was a focus on narrative. Now the focus is on diversity with no concern about narrative. She Hulk is the latest example of this. There is a reason I did not use the term “woke”. There is an intense focus on diversity as the main goal. Diverse characters and story lines are great, but narrative has always got to be first or you will wind up with low box office numbers and viewership like everything coming out of Marvel has right now.
The core is that they need to bring actual comic book writers into the screen writing process - and tighten up some control on a few of their showcase directors (I'm looking at you Taika Waititi)

You raised an excellent point that a single bad show/movie doesn't just hurt the brand, but it chips away at any viewer interest for future projects. Same thing happened with Star Wars. I didn't watch the Mandalorian for almost an entire year, because I had to be *talked back* into the franchise. I'm glad I was, but the point is it took forever to get the bad taste out of my mouth from all the previous failures. Once you lose viewer trust, it's extremely difficult to win it back.

With Captain Marvel I went in completely blind. I didn't know the comic book, never heard of the character and didn't really know the actress. I remember sitting there being confused. It felt like watching a Marvel movie but something was off, didn't feel right. At that point in the MCU it simply wasn't even a possibility that a Marvel movie could be bad. Took me a while to realize and accept how bad that it was and how unlikeable the character is. And basically it was all downhill from there. Now I expect everything that comes out of Disney to be complete trash. I actively avoid that brand.

I don’t agree with much of his political ideology, but I’m here because Superman saved my confidence when I was an oft-hospitalized, critically-asthmatic youngster and Gary is a Sage of comic book history (and funny as hell). That he combines his knowledge with a defense of rationality and common sense in today’s woke world makes this channel a must view for me. I wish his approach permeated society more. I've always loved that about his channel, even though I enjoyed Loki and Hawkeye while he didn't. Although honestly, I don't know many people who would sit through a review they 100% disagreed with more than once (or even once). Still, I agree it's a rare quality that he has in spades.
I’m not saying the premise of She-Hulk couldn’t work. Just like I could’ve jumped off that falling ladder at my painting job without I hurting myself in the process. But just like that incident, the problem lied in the execution, and not only did we not get what was promised, but everyone was a little worse off for it. Still trying to decide which was a worse experience. A bone fracture is probably physically more painful but at least I got some valuable life experience out of it. Can’t say the same for this show.

idk about you, but i think i've seen this somewhat often with female writers. maybe this particular pitfall is one which bad female writers are esp prone to go down. (why does that sentence seem strange to me?) but I don't know why this is the case... like, what it may indicate about their characters, etc. anyway, men and women prob both have different pitfalls that they tend to get caught on.

These writers are very smart. When I was watching the duel between Thanos and Thor, followed by Peter Parker turning into dust, all I could think was "I wonder what these characters are like when they're doing their laundry."
Within franchises, overperforming individual films can have disastrous effects down the line. People who pony up their hard earned money to see something that isn't all that good are out the cost of the ticket, but have now been forewarned about what they can expect going forward. As such, it is highly unlikely that they'll be fooled the second time in a row. So while the initial film may have made money off these customers based on hype and advertising, the same tricks won't work again on those same customers the second time around. The problem with these studios are that they don't read the reviews. If they did, they would notice that when they churn out Woke garbage, the audience isn't clamoring for sequels full of more virtue signaling crap.
Comic superheroes were a big part of my childhood. Seeing them on the big screen 30 years later was amazing. Now, 10-15 years later I'm going back to my comics. Done.

Do they have a choice though? If they don't create content aimed at the demographics which historically have shown little to no interest in the genre, the studio will be portrayed negatively in the mainstream media. Pandering to women and minorities is the only non negotiable in modern western entertainment. Whether or not said women or minorities actually enjoy the show is irrelevant because being seen to be inclusive is all that matters.

The only reasonable business decision is the one the drivers profits - or in this case purchases tickets. A company that makes movies and TV shows can only do that by producing content their audience is willing to pay for. It really is just that simple. And something that Disney, Marvel, and a good number of others evidently have forgotten.

The average reader was perhaps 13 years old. As Lucas tried to recreate the movie serials of his youth, so too did filmmakers try to capture the magic of the comics they read when they were young. It surprised the hell out of everyone (especially us old fans (I'm 65)) that they'd become such huge box office draws.

My theory is the Deadpool 3 announcement this late in the quarter is to drum up hype to avoid completely pissing off shareholders and and to avoid tanking the share price during Q3 earnings call that's likely going to be abysmal. That she hulk rating on rotten tomatoes, is after rotten tomatoes deleted tons of reviews to artificially boost the ratings back up. There are several videos online that prove this. Mine, was one of the legitimate reviews, critiquing the actual show, based on its writing, special effects, acting, cinematography, and not even bringing up the fact that it is blatantly sexist. About how most scenes had seemed to have to tear men down, in order to build women up. Which in itself is piss poor writing. Many shows and movies have portrayed strong without without needing to hate on half the human race to do it. The writing itself was incredibly weak, because of it. But I kept that stuff out of my review, fearing rotten would delete that level of honesty. They deleted my review anyway. Because they are con artists and manipulators. If the true stats of that show showed it would most likely be below 10 percent.
One of the problem, which us nerds have in our battle against wokeism, are people like my friends. They are just happy with the fact. They’re making comic book movies and shows. I was out with them a couple of weeks ago. They were talking how great She Hulk was and Kenobi didn’t destroy canon because they added a line. I also noticed because, they refuse to stop supporting garbage (which I have done). They are slowly becoming woke because they keep reading Marvel & DC.

Yes Gina would have been perfect. I kept thinking: why did they hire such a dainty person to play She-Hulk, when there are actual women that can/do look like She-Hulk? There are big fit girls out there that could definitely use an acting break, where the role of She-Hulk would be PERFECT for them. It's also one of the few roles they would ever have a chance at getting because they're not poaching roles from dainty actresses anytime soon. Instead we get Uncanny Valley the series. While some of Marvel's diversity replacement characters were present for years before this relaunch, this woke era which many believe to be Marvel's over compensation for Trump becoming president, is where these characters really came to the forefront. YoungRippa59 has done a great job of explaining how Miles Morales is just a token Peter Parker, and the animated film is literally the only good thing ever done with the character (I liked him in Spider-Man PS4 as well). Marvel really tried to elevate their woke, diversity replacement characters by way of crapping on the beloved legacy hero they were replacing. Amadeus Cho became Bro Hulk, a duck faced feaux hawked Hulk who thinks it's cool to be a Hulk. WTF? Jane Foster became female Thor, with the writers desperately trying to justify it by claiming that "Thor" isn't his name, but a title. It's their lame ass excuse of how they can pass the mantle of a classically straight white male character to something that's not that. Sam Wilson took over as Captain America (Captain Falcon). Iron Man was killed in Civil War II and replaced by a psychopathic fake victim 15 year old black girl, Riri Williams. One TH-camr pointed out she checked off 13 (of 14) qualities that indicated someone will grow up to be a psychopath. All these characters's books failed, and in Captain Marvel's case, got like 5 relaunches in 3 years or something. Feige consistently lies about the popularity of these characters, because he has to trick the general population who don't read comics into thinking these characters like Kamala Khan and America Chavez and Danvers are just as popular as Wolverine. lol The stories these characters were written in were just far Left political propaganda stories, pushing disgusting ideas, dangerous ideologies, and were always about the character's race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.. Jean Grey used her psychic powers to forcibly change Iceman's brain to make him flamboyantly gay, Coates wrote Storm as a racist in Black Panther and the Crew which was all about the black superheroes forming a team solely for the purpose of ridding Harlem of white people. Coates also wrote Captain America (Rogers) as losing his belief in America (writing self insert characters). Marvel demanded that characters only be written by writers with like surface traits. And look where we're at now. Instead of the decades of stories that Marvel has to draw from including a couple good events to lead up to, they go straight to the worst received (by fans) and worst selling era of comics in history because it's the one pushing the political agenda that's so prevalent in Hollywood. We've gotten Kate Bishop replacing Hawkeye. We've gotten Captain Feminazi. We've gotten Captain Falcon. We've gotten Kamala Khan and America Chavez as self insert characters. We've gotten female Thor. We're getting Ironheart. Everything with the films and TV shows indicates the same woke direction that the comics took years ago. Spoiler alert: comics sales are lower than they've ever been in history because no one wants to be preached to, and the medium is nearly dead. No one is a fan of these characters. No one likes that Marvel has shit on their legacy heroes to prop up their diversity replacement "heroes". And the empirical data that we get on the performance of things like Black Widow, Eternals, and the D+ shows indicate that people are not responding well to Marvel following the woke propaganda path of their source material. It failed there. It IS failing in live action.

Ok I’m officially done with mcu. Black Widow destroyed one of my most beloved marvel antagonist. I never finished Hawkeye - it was that terrible. Ethernals were interesting at first but ended up as one of the most boring mcu movies I have ever seen. No Way Home was interesting only because of a fan service - without villains, Andrew and Toby it’s a stupid movie with a ton of plot holes and almost none logic (Electro shouldn’t even BE IN THIS MOVIE). Love and Thunder turned thor into an idiot and didn’t know when to joke and when to be serious. And side characters like Valkyrie were kinda wasted. Multiverse of Madness...this movie is such a crap. To understand it you need to watch at least three shows and a movie :/ Trying to justify Wanda’s crimes in Westview was shocking to me. Strange, she’s a fuckin maniac! Who cares what she sacrificed? She tortured not just adults and elders but also CHILDREN. She doesn’t deserve forgiveness because she did nothing to fix her mistakes. Also America is pretty annoying. Miss Marvel was...not for me. I never finished it so I won’t say anything about it. She-Hulk? What’s She-Hulk? I never saw any show like this...*erasing bad memories again* Wakanda...it was fine I guess, but I won’t rewatch it. The only things I honestly enjoyed in Phase 4 were Loki, Moon Knight and Shang Chi. That’s all. That whole shit show and woke is getting boring. I’m a girl and I don’t give a damn about the girl power they want to show so bad. This is mostly me okaying devil’s advocate, but I guess I can see those moments where he purposefully slows the camera down on the celebrities he’s mocking to show them in an unflattering way being considered toxic, or when he makes edits like with Jessica Gao and the cow fade. Personally it does toe the line a bit (not a fan of bullying even people I dislike), but considering a lot of their attitudes, I’d say it’s ultimately deserved

Example of what people want to see out of the MCU between movies: comedy show (limited series or 30min 1 shot) following an insurance adjuster trying to adapt to a changing insurance industry environment. I collected comics from the time I was a boy. Marvel comics were at the top of my interest I bought Spiderman #1,2,3 and etc., ad naseum. Stan Lee, bless his soul, bless his legacy, was a man of vision. He appealed to both the simple person and the intellectual. I was a "Keeper of the Flame", as Stan Lee called us all. I read and collected all the Marvel offerings. I bought a collection from a schoolmate that had "Strange Tales" comics dating back to the 1920's and all the Marvel's up to the current issues at that time, yeah, got another #1,2,3 Amazing Spider Man. My collection was worth millions by the time I was a senior in college, away from home, where they were stored carefully in map cabinets designed for large charts. The cabinets were stored in a room above the tack rooms in the little 8 stall barn where my sister kept her horse. I had not bought any comics for a couple years by then because my physics for engineers and calculus and medical studies were too demanding. Sadly, the barn caught fire from spontaneous combustion of new hay. My years of collecting, working hard as a twelve year old to make a quarter here and there to buy these Marvel comics as they came out went up in smoke. I was obsessed to the point that I would meet the Press truck as it unloaded and follow the bundles inside to the downtown news stand at the Greyhound Depot and get the freshest, unwrinkled copy, that I would read and absorb, then put into stacks of 12 for each year, and turn the stacks over once a month so the binding staples and edges would lay flat. Perfect condition, worth literally millions at the time. The insurance company paid my dad for the barn and some tack and camping gear but my dad did not give me a plug nickle. I loved the art and the depth of the stories as they unfolded. Mostly overlapping cliffhangers that held you till the next issue came out. So I missed the actual collection than I did the money they were worth. "Shit Happens", an old saying, but true for us all. I learned to roll. The Taoist philosophy plus life's little wisdom inducing lessons kept me at peace in the face of unchangeable circumstances. I still apologize to the world for being part of the attrition, the loss of a huge collection that I intended as a tribute to the vision of the great one, Stan Lee. Disney, and Marvel now along with most of the entertainment media have gone work and broke. Here is what we don't like. Think of James Bond, did you see the latest, a black woman is the new 007, "Jane Bond??? Why do these woke idealists have to steal a man's role and convert it to a woman playing a masculine role? How about being original? I forgot,the lack of real creative talent is appalling so they must appropriate and basically steal content, just force a sex change upon us. I've tried to watch it a bit out of scientific interest. Damn, I though that Golden Fist show was boring like watching paint try, because all they ever did was talk, but maaan... That last episode alone, wasting minutes watching She-Dumb trying to find a cellphone signal or her moving books around her house, what were they even thinking? I remember watching civil war in the threater 6 years ago. Pure greatness. To see where things have been watered down so much since then is just sad and kinda upsetting .

It seems like yesterday in my memories when I watched " Cap - The winter soldier " in cinema with my mates. When we walked out we all had something like wow , what a time to be alive :) . To see what had came out and what still was coming in the future , it gave excitement for the coming years. It is sad to know that none of that will come back. Even Deadpool 3 with " huge jacked man " has me at ' meh ' , i'll watch it when it is the cheap bin. They must have offered Hugh a lot of money to come back as Wolverine, in the hopes it will attract people to come watch so they can squeeze the last pennies out of a respected actor who hung up his cape because he was done with it. If Hugh has gotten a huge payday for coming back, it will mean that Deadpool 3 would need to pull more than a cool billion or it will get the diminishing returns tag as well.
Deadpool might be the only thing that can save any chance Marvel has. Deadpool can be the voice of us frustrated comic fans and if they have any awareness will allow him to just evisceration everything from the past five years. Have him on going through Disney+ catalog just giving hot takes and leaves (in a cab of course) goes down to Marvel/Disney and kidnaps everyone to do a "Clockwork Orange" therapy on them with their own movies. I dunno it could work if they just acknowledge/self deprecate and stop trying to be what they're not and definitely not anything close to what their fan base (the ones that have been fans for decades not just movie band wagoneers) wants to see. Did they not learn from 2015-2016 disaster after they tried bringing"woke" into comics...I mean. Have they even recovered from that fully? I know haven't purchased even 30% of what I used to from Marvel Comics. DC really should have been an example for them on letting studios/execs make creative decisions and insulting your built in fans (the comic readers) in hopes of gaining a new audience. DC finally got it together and let each character be true to what themselves and all the work of writers,artist, editors over decades that built the characters personality through origin, motivation, tragedies, failures, successes, and what they fought for and against. They allow each character to inform the tone of the movie by being true to what they are instead of changing them or forcing them into a gross imitation lacking authenticity or Individuality. It's so obvious that the characters are forced into a box with qualities that they've deemed friendly instead of keeping the flaws that make them interesting and something they have to overcome or acknowledge, accept and learn to use in a beneficial way. I think the World is finally "waking up" and realizing "Woke" is bullshit and killing fun, creativity, originality and authenticity. People are flawed, damaged, mean, critical, rude and it's important, believe it or not, to be that way. It's important because people are also caring, thoughtful, nice, accommodating, friendly, helpful and respectful. All of these "important, powerful, influential" (basically the wealthy and politicians) have tricked the world into believing that they're know everything and always have. They never had to learn or be taught, they just know present this idea that they're also good people...the best and THE example that should be followed. So if you want to be accepted you must know everything and never be wrong ,like them, and shame those that aren't part of their weird club...of lies. Yeah they're all fvkking disgusting liars that haven't been truthful their whole lives and don't have a shred of integrity. They've never treated anyone with respect and view anyone as a threat to their position (because they're fake and intimated by those that embrace their flaws) and actively hold people down, help no one, and try to force us all into submission and self loathing. They do this by making it increasingly harder to be unique by shaming or embarrassment which leads to self censorship and cancel culture. It's scary now that they've let it be known if you make one mistake it could completely destroy your life... Even if it happened a decade or longer ago. You can have your life ruined by making a comment that gets repeated and shared across the world out of context or clipped to sound disparaging. Fear is the most powerful thing in the world and has been implemented all throughout time, to by kings, queens, dictators, governments and tyrants, to keep people under control. To keep people from the truth, from thinking for themselves, and from challenging their rule. Remorse, regret, mistakes, misunderstanding, ignorance, prejudice, misinformation, and any other kind of sh!t normal people go through or witness to allow them the chance to grow/learn or give them insight to consequence, new perspective, a chance to reflect and most of all change. If we aren't given the opportunity to develop and make ourselves better by seeing the damage/consequence to actions, ignorance,hate, rage, impulsiveness, being mislead/lied to, or believing that people (especially those with an agenda)have our best interest in mind then we find ourselves where we are now... Living a lie. "Trendformist" is what I call it when people are forced into believing/acting a certain way or pretending to anyway. It's so obvious that it's propaganda and manipulation tactics to confuse , scare, and create conflict and chaos to drive people further apart. United people are strong, powerful and a threat.. what better way to create tension and mistrust that divides the population and makes them afraid of the other side. Making them afraid that their beliefs are a threat to their way of life and pursuit of happiness. It's just all a trick and a distraction to keep the lower classes at bay and vulnerable to influence and seeking approval. That's why everything that "Woke" touches fails. Most people don't actually believe that sh!t or live that way, they're just "trendformist" that want to be liked and accepted by other "trendformist" that are nothing else to what they represent themselves to be. The only time people are completely truthful or at least truthful to themselves is when it comes to what they'll spend their money on. That's why anything and everything that's tries to capitalize on it or use it to bolster profits fails miserably. Unfortunately, I didn't get to Winter Soldier in theaters, but when it came out on Blu Ray and I watched it for the first time, I was genuinely surprised at how not only was the action spectacular, but the story was well written and made me think "Holy shit, Marvel is gonna blow the roof off of cinema if they continue to make movies like this. After phase 3, it all fell down. The only film that I genuinely liked during phase 4 was Shang Chi, but yet even Shang Chi wasn't as strong as I hoped to be. No Way Home after multiple viewings is definitely overhyped now and has very noticeable plot holes, really it was successful because of the nostalgia bait. Dr Strange was mehh and Thor 4 was just terrible.
As someone who isn’t invested in the Marvel universe it’s kind of crazy to watch it unfold. Still remember seeing the longest lines at a movie theater ever!….For the first Avengers movie.

I enjoyed Endgame, but it wasn't a very good movie in my opinion. And Tony's death was the best part of the movie, or it was the best written scene in this movie and the one that was the most emotional. If you take him back, you destroy all the good work.

My dad and I would go to every Marvel movie premiere the day before it came out, starting with the first Avengers movie. When we saw captain Marvel I was already feeling that disappointment. At Thor Love & Thunder, it was just sad. I really hope they make a come back and if not, then I guess it’s true that good things never last forever. I really loved those years going to the movies with my dad and bonding over the MCU movies. Guess we’ll have to find another tradition. ☹️

It also had to do with no one valuing chasty anymore. I actually highly respected that Captain America remained to have integrity and chasty. If you’re a writer/director hired by Marvel to create a multi-million dollar movie based on a success comic book franchise, you don’t just throw the comics away because you’d rather do something so wildly different that it barely resembles the comic book character and contradicts the rest of your established movies. That writer/director is not the right person for the job!

Honnestly i would just put a higher not on Hawkeye and Moon Knoght because the story was enjoyable and the character were good (except for Kingpin) and put
Hawkeye: 6/10 the serie was fun, and even if they nerfed Clint they give a sorta understandable explaination, really liked the character of Kate Bishop, but they did Kingpin dirty, the story could had been resolved in 2 episodes if they just called other heroes or police (or even Daredevil) and the character of Echo and the other Black Widow was boring
Moonknight: 7,5/10 the only really good nearly until the end Marvel's show with What if, the story was interesting, really liked how they recreated the character and especially Steven, amazing acting from Oscar Isaac, a really good direction for action scene (my favourite stay the moment where Jake awoken and beat the sh-t out of the villain offscreen and we are left to imagine what happened) but the final episode just ruin it, they should have made another episode because the finale was too fast and it ruined a lot of things like the rythm of the episode, they were things that didn't make a lot of sense like the confrontation of Konshu with Ammit, or how did the others avatars got beaten by one guy. But the serie was good in my opinion, and this and Hawkeye were the only good Marvel's serie that came out with What if.

Leading up to End Game, there was a focus on narrative. Now the focus is on diversity with no concern about narrative. She Hulk is the latest example of this. There is a reason I did not use the term “woke”. There is an intense focus on diversity as the main goal. Diverse characters and story lines are great, but narrative has always got to be first or you will wind up with low box office numbers and viewership like everything coming out of Marvel has right now.

I didn't watch the Mandalorian for almost an entire year, because I had to be *talked back* into the franchise. I'm glad I was, but the point is it took forever to get the bad taste out of my mouth from all the previous failures. Once you lose viewer trust, it's extremely difficult to win it back.

Well technically to give them away as promos, the companies had to BUY them in the first place so they still got their money either way.
With Captain Marvel I went in completely blind. I didn't know the comic book, never heard of the character and didn't really know the actress. I remember sitting there being confused. It felt like watching a Marvel movie but something was off, didn't feel right. At that point in the MCU it simply wasn't even a possibility that a Marvel movie could be bad. Took me a while to realize and accept how bad that it was and how unlikeable the character is. And basically it was all downhill from there. Now I expect everything that comes out of Disney to be complete trash. I actively avoid that brand.

I don’t agree with much of his political ideology, but I’m here because Superman saved my confidence when I was an oft-hospitalized, critically-asthmatic youngster and Gary is a Sage of comic book history (and funny as hell). That he combines his knowledge with a defense of rationality and common sense in today’s woke world makes this channel a must view for me. I wish his approach permeated society more. I’m not saying the premise of She-Hulk couldn’t work. Just like I could’ve jumped off that falling ladder at my painting job without I hurting myself in the process. But just like that incident, the problem lied in the execution, and not only did we not get what was promised, but everyone was a little worse off for it.
Still trying to decide which was a worse experience. A bone fracture is probably physically more painful but at least I got some valuable life experience out of it. Can’t say the same for this show.
Will there be a episode speaking of how self aware, and self inserted this writer and director put herself into each episode of She Hulk? It’s so painstakingly OBVIOUS that this show is not about She Hulk at all, it’s really about the director.
idk about you, but i think i've seen this somewhat often with female writers. maybe this particular pitfall is one which bad female writers are esp prone to go down. (why does that sentence seem strange to me?)

These writers are very smart. When I was watching the duel between Thanos and Thor, followed by Peter Parker turning into dust, all I could think was "I wonder what these characters are like when they're doing their laundry."
Within franchises, overperforming individual films can have disastrous effects down the line.
People who pony up their hard earned money to see something that isn't all that good are out the cost of the ticket, but have now been forewarned about what they can expect going forward. As such, it is highly unlikely that they'll be fooled the second time in a row.
So while the initial film may have made money off these customers based on hype and advertising, the same tricks won't work again on those same customers the second time around.
The problem with these studios are that they don't read the reviews. If they did, they would notice that when they churn out Woke garbage, the audience isn't clamoring for sequels full of more virtue signaling crap.
I laughed more in 5 minutes watching this than I did for all of Stage 4.

My theory is the Deadpool 3 announcement this late in the quarter is to drum up hype to avoid completely pissing off shareholders and and to avoid tanking the share price during Q3 earnings call that's likely going to be abysmal. That she hulk rating on rotten tomatoes, is after rotten tomatoes deleted tons of reviews to artificially boost the ratings back up. There are several videos online that prove this. Mine, was one of the legitimate reviews, critiquing the actual show, based on its writing, special effects, acting, cinematography, and not even bringing up the fact that it is blatantly sexist. About how most scenes had seemed to have to tear men down, in order to build women up. Which in itself is piss poor writing. Many shows and movies have portrayed strong without without needing to hate on half the human race to do it. The writing itself was incredibly weak, because of it. But I kept that stuff out of my review, fearing rotten would delete that level of honesty. They deleted my review anyway. Because they are con artists and manipulators. If the true stats of that show showed it would most likely be below 10 percent.
One of the problem, which us nerds have in our battle against wokeism, are people like my friends. They are just happy with the fact. They’re making comic book movies and shows. I was out with them a couple of weeks ago. They were talking how great She Hulk was and Kenobi didn’t destroy canon because they added a line. I also noticed because, they refuse to stop supporting garbage (which I have done). They are slowly becoming woke because they keep reading Marvel & DC.

Jane Foster became female Thor, with the writers desperately trying to justify it by claiming that "Thor" isn't his name, but a title. It's their lame ass excuse of how they can pass the mantle of a classically straight white male character to something that's not that. Sam Wilson took over as Captain America (Captain Falcon). Iron Man was killed in Civil War II and replaced by a psychopathic fake victim 15 year old black girl, Riri Williams. One TH-camr pointed out she checked off 13 (of 14) qualities that indicated someone will grow up to be a psychopath. All these characters's books failed, and in Captain Marvel's case, got like 5 relaunches in 3 years or something. Feige consistently lies about the popularity of these characters, because he has to trick the general population who don't read comics into thinking these characters like Kamala Khan and America Chavez and Danvers are just as popular as Wolverine. lol The stories these characters were written in were just far Left political propaganda stories, pushing disgusting ideas, dangerous ideologies, and were always about the character's race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.. Jean Grey used her psychic powers to forcibly change Iceman's brain to make him flamboyantly gay, Coates wrote Storm as a racist in Black Panther and the Crew which was all about the black superheroes forming a team solely for the purpose of ridding Harlem of white people. Coates also wrote Captain America (Rogers) as losing his belief in America (writing self insert characters). Marvel demanded that characters only be written by writers with like surface traits. And look where we're at now. Instead of the decades of stories that Marvel has to draw from including a couple good events to lead up to, they go straight to the worst received (by fans) and worst selling era of comics in history because it's the one pushing the political agenda that's so prevalent in Hollywood. We've gotten Kate Bishop replacing Hawkeye. We've gotten Captain Feminazi. We've gotten Captain Falcon. We've gotten Kamala Khan and America Chavez as self insert characters. We've gotten female Thor. We're getting Ironheart. Everything with the films and TV shows indicates the same woke direction that the comics took years ago. Spoiler alert: comics sales are lower than they've ever been in history because no one wants to be preached to, and the medium is nearly dead. No one is a fan of these characters. No one likes that Marvel has shit on their legacy heroes to prop up their diversity replacement "heroes". And the empirical data that we get on the performance of things like Black Widow, Eternals, and the D+ shows indicate that people are not responding well to Marvel following the woke propaganda path of their source material. It failed there. It IS failing in live action.

Ethernals were interesting at first but ended up as one of the most boring mcu movies I have ever seen.
No Way Home was interesting only because of a fan service - without villains, Andrew and Toby it’s a stupid movie with a ton of plot holes and almost none logic (Electro shouldn’t even BE IN THIS MOVIE).
Love and Thunder turned thor into an idiot and didn’t know when to joke and when to be serious. And side characters like Valkyrie were kinda wasted.

Example of what people want to see out of the MCU between movies: comedy show (limited series or 30min 1 shot) following an insurance adjuster trying to adapt to a changing insurance industry environment. I collected comics from the time I was a boy. Marvel comics were at the top of my interest I bought Spiderman #1,2,3 and etc., ad naseum. Stan Lee, bless his soul, bless his legacy, was a man of vision. He appealed to both the simple person and the intellectual. I was a "Keeper of the Flame", as Stan Lee called us all. I read and collected all the Marvel offerings. I bought a collection from a schoolmate that had "Strange Tales" comics dating back to the 1920's and all the Marvel's up to the current issues at that time, yeah, got another #1,2,3 Amazing Spider Man.
My collection was worth millions by the time I was a senior in college, away from home, where they were stored carefully in map cabinets designed for large charts. The cabinets were stored in a room above the tack rooms in the little 8 stall barn where my sister kept her horse. I had not bought any comics for a couple years by then because my physics for engineers and calculus and medical studies were too demanding. Sadly, the barn caught fire from spontaneous combustion of new hay. My years of collecting, working hard as a twelve year old to make a quarter here and there to buy these Marvel comics as they came out went up in smoke. I was obsessed to the point that I would meet the Press truck as it unloaded and follow the bundles inside to the downtown news stand at the Greyhound Depot and get the freshest, unwrinkled copy, that I would read and absorb, then put into stacks of 12 for each year, and turn the stacks over once a month so the binding staples and edges would lay flat. Perfect condition, worth literally millions at the time. The insurance company paid my dad for the barn and some tack and camping gear but my dad did not give me a plug nickle. I loved the art and the depth of the stories as they unfolded. Mostly overlapping cliffhangers that held you till the next issue came out. So I missed the actual collection than I did the money they were worth. "Shit Happens", an old saying, but true for us all. I learned to roll. The Taoist philosophy plus life's little wisdom inducing lessons kept me at peace in the face of unchangeable circumstances. I still apologize to the world for being part of the attrition, the loss of a huge collection that I intended as a tribute to the vision of the great one, Stan Lee.
Disney, and Marvel now along with most of the entertainment media have gone work and broke. Here is what we don't like. Think of James Bond, did you see the latest, a black woman is the new 007, "Jane Bond??? Why do these woke idealists have to steal a man's role and convert it to a woman playing a masculine role? I've tried to watch it a bit out of scientific interest. Damn, I though that Golden Fist show was boring like watching paint try, because all they ever did was talk, but maaan... That last episode alone, wasting minutes watching She-Dumb trying to find a cellphone signal or her moving books around her house, what were they even thinking? Marvel needs to cast actors who can match their comics characters for the X-Men, F4 movies.

It makes me long for the days when Robert Downey Jr. And the original writers and cast of the 1st Iron Man got together and read the comic books to get a grasp on who the characters were and their back stories before coming up with a script and shooting a movie/TV show.
It seems like yesterday in my memories when I watched " Cap - The winter soldier " in cinema with my mates.
When we walked out we all had something like wow , what a time to be alive :) . To see what had came out and what still was coming in the future , it gave excitement for the coming years.
It is sad to know that none of that will come back.
Even Deadpool 3 with " huge jacked man " has me at ' meh ' , i'll watch it when it is the cheap bin.

Deadpool might be the only thing that can save any chance Marvel has. Deadpool can be the voice of us frustrated comic fans and if they have any awareness will allow him to just evisceration everything from the past five years. Have him on going through Disney+ catalog just giving hot takes and leaves (in a cab of course) goes down to Marvel/Disney and kidnaps everyone to do a "Clockwork Orange" therapy on them with their own movies. I dunno it could work if they just acknowledge/self deprecate and stop trying to be what they're not and definitely not anything close to what their fan base (the ones that have been fans for decades not just movie band wagoneers) wants to see. Did they not learn from 2015-2016 disaster after they tried bringing"woke" into comics...I mean. Have they even recovered from that fully? I know haven't purchased even 30% of what I used to from Marvel Comics. DC really should have been an example for them on letting studios/execs make creative decisions and insulting your built in fans (the comic readers) in hopes of gaining a new audience. DC finally got it together and let each character be true to what themselves and all the work of writers,artist, editors over decades that built the characters personality through origin, motivation, tragedies, failures, successes, and what they fought for and against. They allow each character to inform the tone of the movie by being true to what they are instead of changing them or forcing them into a gross imitation lacking authenticity or Individuality. It's so obvious that the characters are forced into a box with qualities that they've deemed friendly instead of keeping the flaws that make them interesting and something they have to overcome or acknowledge, accept and learn to use in a beneficial way.
I think the World is finally "waking up" and realizing "Woke" is bullshit and killing fun, creativity, originality and authenticity. People are flawed, damaged, mean, critical, rude and it's important, believe it or not, to be that way. It's important because people are also caring, thoughtful, nice, accommodating, friendly, helpful and respectful. All of these "important, powerful, influential" (basically the wealthy and politicians) have tricked the world into believing that they're know everything and always have. They never had to learn or be taught, they just know present this idea that they're also good people...the best and THE example that should be followed. So if you want to be accepted you must know everything and never be wrong ,like them, and shame those that aren't part of their weird club...of lies. Yeah they're all fvkking disgusting liars that haven't been truthful their whole lives and don't have a shred of integrity. They've never treated anyone with respect and view anyone as a threat to their position (because they're fake and intimated by those that embrace their flaws) and actively hold people down, help no one, and try to force us all into submission and self loathing. They do this by making it increasingly harder to be unique by shaming or embarrassment which leads to self censorship and cancel culture. It's scary now that they've let it be known if you make one mistake it could completely destroy your life... Even if it happened a decade or longer ago. You can have your life ruined by making a comment that gets repeated and shared across the world out of context or clipped to sound disparaging. Fear is the most powerful thing in the world and has been implemented all throughout time, to by kings, queens, dictators, governments and tyrants, to keep people under control. To keep people from the truth, from thinking for themselves, and from challenging their rule.
Remorse, regret, mistakes, misunderstanding, ignorance, prejudice, misinformation, and any other kind of sh!t normal people go through or witness to allow them the chance to grow/learn or give them insight to consequence, new perspective, a chance to reflect and most of all change. If we aren't given the opportunity to develop and make ourselves better by seeing the damage/consequence to actions, ignorance,hate, rage, impulsiveness, being mislead/lied to, or believing that people (especially those with an agenda)have our best interest in mind then we find ourselves where we are now... Living a lie. "Trendformist" is what I call it when people are forced into believing/acting a certain way or pretending to anyway. It's so obvious that it's propaganda and manipulation tactics to confuse , scare, and create conflict and chaos to drive people further apart. United people are strong, powerful and a threat.. what better way to create tension and mistrust that divides the population and makes them afraid of the other side. Making them afraid that their beliefs are a threat to their way of life and pursuit of happiness. It's just all a trick and a distraction to keep the lower classes at bay and vulnerable to influence and seeking approval. That's why everything that "Woke" touches fails. Most people don't actually believe that sh!t or live that way, they're just "trendformist" that want to be liked and accepted by other "trendformist" that are nothing else to what they represent themselves to be. The only time people are completely truthful or at least truthful to themselves is when it comes to what they'll spend their money on. That's why anything and everything that's tries to capitalize on it or use it to bolster profits fails miserably. People want truth in their entertainment not some censored, water downed, cringe, unbelievable BS. Marvel already found that out when they pulled that bs in their comics and they either didn't learn from it or this time it's Disney once again ruining everything good and on course to becoming a real life evil corporation. Unfortunately, I didn't get to Winter Soldier in theaters, but when it came out on Blu Ray and I watched it for the first time, I was genuinely surprised at how not only was the action spectacular, but the story was well written and made me think "Holy shit, Marvel is gonna blow the roof off of cinema if they continue to make movies like this. After phase 3, it all fell down. The only film that I genuinely liked during phase 4 was Shang Chi, but yet even Shang Chi wasn't as strong as I hoped to be. No Way Home after multiple viewings is definitely overhyped now and has very noticeable plot holes, really it was successful because of the nostalgia bait. Dr Strange was mehh and Thor 4 was just terrible.
As someone who isn’t invested in the Marvel universe it’s kind of crazy to watch it unfold. Still remember seeing the longest lines at a movie theater ever!….For the first Avengers movie.

The Russo Brothers ONLY used the Hulk to dab, eat breakfast, and hand out tacos. Didn't give him a single action or fight scene in Endgame. Benched the Hulk from the greatest battles of the MCU in the biggest Avengers movie, and then had the audacity to think it was some kind of clever arc.
If we want to see that, that's best suited for fan-made videos of stop motion with action figures; Not multi-million dollar productions
