Faking Out HUGE Sheepshead With Imitation Crabs

  • This is the best artificial bait for catching big Sheephead. In this video I prove once again that the fake crab lure is irresistible to these fish that have strips like a Zebra. The technique for consistently catching BIG Sheepshead with the imitation crab is simple. Apply a dab of Procure fish attractant to the lure, specifically the "inshore" scent. Let the Cranka Crab sink to the bottom, then gently twitch and move the bait. When a fish bites set the hook immediately.

Since discovering this unique method, I've caught fish:
    1. Near bridges
    2. Under docks
    3. Around jetties at the inlet
    4. Next to pilings
The best bait for catching Sheepshead is some sort of fiddler, mangrove or mud crab. This lure imitates them all and is effective in faking out this species of fish on a consistent basis.
