I have a big mold like that and I have tried to figure out my cold process soap recipe to fit it, is there anyway that you can help me it has boggled my mind. Thank you, I love watch your creations and I have learned so much from watching you Debie💕
You multiply the w X L x H x.40 For example this mold measures 15”x9”x4” so 15x9x4x.40 =216 so you would add 216 in your soap calculator where it says Total oil weight. But of course depending on water discounts, additives and such you may need to adjust your total oil weight give or take a few ounces. But it’s a great starting point.
@@OpheliasSoapery thank you so much. I really appreciate that help. I’m gonna find the dimensions to my box again and figure it out and I’ll let you know how it goes. God bless you.💕
I was wondering about that myself 😊 I'm not a soap maker, but I cook and often use turmeric - it has a tendency to remain under my nails for a few days, despite scrubbing 😂
Loved watching this. If you don't mind me asking, how does the soap in the container remain liquidy but the ones that you pour in the mold gets more firm?
Thank you! It’s because instead of adding the fragrance to the entire batch at once. I only add it to each layer/color. The fragrance is what makes the layers harden faster.. and the extra blending to incorporate the colors.
I was trying to figure out why you'd run the spoon across instead of lengthwise because I couldn't see how that would do anything in the finished soap and then you go and cut horizontal bars, lol. 😂 They're beautiful! Permanent change or are you just experimenting?
Those are absolutely beautiful and make me want to go put on a big, oversized sweatshirt but it's 91 degrees here right now 😂❤
I love how spirulina looks in soap. ❤
Always a treat watching your videos!
Very pretty- love the colors
Turmeric truly gives the best orange color to soap and it's natural. What a beautiful soap
Beautiful ✨️ I love the small soaps 🧼 too 🍂🍁🍂
Thank you! 😊
Stunning
Absolutely beautiful. Would love to try these colors in no distant time. Love watching you blend your colors.
So pretty
Nice design 👏👏👏
Beautiful, as per usual :)
Beautiful soap can I ask what fragrance oil you use and make please?

Absolutely LOVE this soap!! Question, what was the final yellow powder you used in the soap for the colorant? It's SO pretty! 😍❤
Thank you!! It was turmeric
@@OpheliasSoapery Thank you so much. I kinda figured it was, but, wanted to make sure.
You’re welcome! 💜
Beautiful soap, gorgeous colours. 😍 Is that a Winston & Walter mould? ❤️
Yes it is 🥰

Just experimenting. I’ve only ever made tall skinny bars. I’m really loving these!
