T5 is what happens when you give everyone steroids and T6-7 is the withdrawal of them going through rehab…. Just for them to start going back to steroids in T8
Actually, Tekken 7 is them on steroids again while 8 is them getting subdued one more time. Everything is a launcher in Tekken 7, and Tekken 8 removed a lot of the BS.
@@scorpioigor Yes and no, yes, they removed a lot of bs, no, the system mechanic is degenerate on it's own to compensate everything and add a bit of extra, while some brain damaged and broken characters (Jack and Bryan), just got turbo buffed for no reason.
I'm loving these older tekken vids, so much stuff I never knew because it was back in the days when the internet was still in it's infancy and we were just kids mashing 10 hit combos on each other.
I think range in T5 is actually deceptive. While it may look like they are far away, they are actually pretty close. What looked like range 4 is actually range 3. That's why backdash, sidesteps and move feels much bigger than it actually looks. Could be an engine thing too. Try doing a 4:3 gameplay and see what happens.
Tackle looks further than it is. It’s 4:3 stretched to 16:9. Also sidesteps worked. I remember that almost never landing on me. I’d fight this Marduk 10x over the trash 7 has.
thinking back to the tag 2 era, I think the combo damage was never the problem, it was the duration, and how easily you could convert - having no bound system here just makes the pain faster lmao.
My god that last combo, if I ever get that done to me online I'd just turn the power of my whole house off and lay on the floor in fetal position for the rest of the day.
I saw Nin annihilate a Japanese Marduk player way back in the day with Steve. Back then I was convinced Marduk was a garbage character. Now I know that Steve was just outright busted and Marduk is strong…just not cracked like Steve lol.
It's breakable but you have to guess if it's 1 or 2. Not to mention that throw break window is so tight on this game that it's almost impossible to predict.
T5 honestly was insane for its time but people Goin on about how characters from t5 are better than their tekken 7 variants (barring Steve) are just being disingenuous after. Marduk while he's super strong in t5 idk how pple can claim that he is better than this t7 version (that's literally a top 5 character)

Jin was be first to get some in T4

@@scorpioigor t7 is nothing compared to this game
Lol goated comment 😅

Marduk's story mode prologue did say that he transformed his body into the ultimate weapon after losing to King.
he actually did that haha
"How much range do you wa-"
Marduk: *Yes*
haha

The internet was good
That df1 is not even touching but launching at the same time😂
exactly
2:34 wow that’s a camera angle we don’t see very often
haha
Me: "Tekken 7 Marduk's tackle range is too short."
*sees tekken 5 Marduk's tackle range*
"Nevermind Tekken 7 Marduk's tackle range is just fine."
This must be what Harada used as inspiration for Fahkumram on release. Size, speed, and range.
true lol
I hope his vest outfit returns in tekken 8 it was a crime that it wasn't in t7

If I remember correctly, Marduk's d/f+1 is titled "Air Lift Uppercut".
Accurate name!
Back when marduk had full sized legs 😂😂😂 (looking at you tekken 7)
Wow marduk has learned Haki

should do a tierlist for t5, so many characters op asf 😂
haha go ahead :)
They would have God tier, s++, s+, s, a and trash lol
SSSSSSS: Steve
SSS: Nina, Ganryu, Bryan, Devil Jin, Feng
S: Heihachi, Julia, Raven, Marduk, Roger, Law, Kazuya
A: King, Hwoarang, Christie, Jin, Anna, Bruce, Baek
B: Jack, Paul
D: Lei, Kuma
That touch of death at the end.
He calls himself number 1 for a reasons 😅
true lol
RIP Tekken 5 Anna
Been loving the older game videos lately!
my man seriously have naruto sage mode invisible punch with that df1
Don't worry about it.
Make a video on yoshimitsu
sure

I remember on the Leaderboard top rankings you only saw Duks
Most of this was fixed for T5DR. Be interested in seeing what stayed OP in that version
Should do some little known tekken advance facts and the regions of it.
The range on his df1 what💀
t7 zoomers discovering 5.0 is my favourite post covid bit
Didn’t even show the disgusting tech traps after 123 wall ender. ssr db1+2 for 1 tech and ssl+2 for 2 tech.
How do I run towards the opponent, what is the button to run and attack?
Balanced character
Do somebody has any toturial for the first combo in the video?
tekken 5 legendary game
BRO I WANT TO HAVE TEKKEN 5 REMASTERED !
Frrr
you forgot marduk db 3+4 how far he sway

S-tier in tekken 5 means Steve Tier
Yep, I knew DF1 was wack. I knew it all long. Easy mode uppercut.
true haha
Is that wall combo ground throw breakable

Marduk is a champ
Do u actively play tekken since t5?
I've played tekken 3 4 5 6 tag 1 as fun just against the cpu
but actually started learning the game in 7

He needs it
Marduk not base roster in T8 is just sad
lmao maybe they made his legs less bulky in Tekken 7 so he has less back dash power
Better than King in this game for sure. King didn't have even the extension on d/f2 lol
king was weak in this game
He did gain b+1 and f,f,n,1+2 as powerful CH tools, though.
@@mwkan772 He was strong, but significantly overshadowed by the plethora of really OP characters - same with Marduk in my opinion.
monster
demon…
Bruh, real life takedowns are as fast as a jab. A takedown should be an unreactable throw into a mixup.
By balanced, you mean broken
Thats the joke
If everything is broken, it's balanced
Stay jealous marduk tops >>>>>>>>>>> stay bottom
👀
Lol super broken😅
haha yes
